The Near Ground Zero is a Bridge to What … Mosque Planner Daisy Khan Says Opposition Goes “Beyond Islamophobia, It’s hate of Muslims.”

MUSLIM TOLERANCE AND COMPASSION

THE BIG LIE … The near Ground Zero Mosque is meant to bring peace, understanding and a bridge between religions, REALLY?

Eventually in the end the truth comes out. Billed as a project of peace and understanding, “We the People” are beginning to see exactly what we suspected all along. So if you are outraged and do not believe that a mosque should be built near Ground Zero, the site of 9-11 where nearly 300 innocent people were murdered, you are now branded an Islamophobia and you hate  Muslims. These are the words from mosque planner Daisy Khan,“It’s beyond Islamophobia. It’s hate of Muslims.” Oh the tolerance from the Muslim Daisy Khan who cannot accept that people actually might object, not to the practice of the Muslim religion, but to the building of a mosque so close to Ground Zero.

So this is the tolerance and compassion that we can expect? Nice PR Daisy, where did you get your lessons from BP Oil?

A leader of a planned Muslim community center near Manhattan’s Ground Zero compared opposition to the project to the persecution of Jews, in comments that could add to the controversy over the center’s proposed site.

“We are deeply concerned, because this is like a metastasized antisemitism,” said Daisy Khan, who is spearheading the project with her husband, Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf. “It’s beyond Islamophobia. It’s hate of Muslims.”

Ms. Khan, appearing on ABC News’s “This Week” on Sunday, vowed to push ahead with plans to build a 15-story complex two blocks from the site of the 9/11 terrorist attacks in lower Manhattan, saying there was “too much at stake.”

The words could further inflame an already angry debate about the proposed location of the community center, which opponents denounce as a “victory mosque.” Rival protests for and against the $100 million center were planned in lower Manhattan on Sunday.

So then Daisy Khan, are the families who lost loved ones on September 11, 2001 Islamophobes and hate Muslims as well? I think we now see why people are in opposition to this mosque. There is an ulterior agenda working here. For some one who wants to build bridges, they are awfully quick to slander people and attack them. For Daisy Klan and the planners of this Muslim mosque, it’s my way or the highway. Way to build bridges folks, by calling 70% of Americans bigots, NICE.

So does Democrat Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid hate Muslims, do the many Democrat and Republican politicians hate Muslims as well? IsRima Fakif, the first Muslim woman to win Miss USA and a practicing Muslim, an Islamophobe? The fact of the matter is Daisy Khan, that the very rights that you claim of Freedom of Religion to build the mosque where you please are the very same rights “WE THE PEOPLE” have of FREEDOM OF SPEECH in opposition against you.

Freedom of Speech is a double edged sword … we finally see what these mosque planners are all about.

Know what I have to say to Daisy?

I say YOU Daisy are prejudice. How DARE you assume that Americans who find it poor taste to place a mosque under the shadow of where the Trade Centers stood hate Muslims. YOU DAISY are the one who hates!!! YOU DAISY are the one spreading lies!!! YOU DAISY are clearly full of hate against the free speech of Americans.

YOU DAISY are simply nothing more than what YOU ACCUSE other of being.

      (enough said)

Does anyone know how long Daisy and her husband have been citizens of the USA? It’s difficult for them to understand how Americans think and feel – they really haven’t a clue. If they did they would be better able to speak more persausive. Obama has the same problem.

    4. PaMom on August 23rd, 2010 5:54 pm

I don’t think this is a Democrat or Republican thing nor do I think it’s about religion. I think the whole idea of this mosque is to see how much the dumb American’s will take. Our government must stop painting rosey pictures and start facing the reality that we are hated for our freedom – Internationally. The little Kings,Lords and Rulers from other countries want to own the US. They honestly believe that their law is superior; although, the evidence of history proves that the only accomplishment they have is one failed society after another. We need to start defending our freedom and our constitution.

      Received this email today:

      In
      1952
      President Truman
established one day a year as a
      “National Day of Prayer.”
      —————————————————————————————————————————-

      In
      1988
      President Reagan
      designated the
First Thursday in May of each year as
      the National Day of Prayer.
      —————————————————————————————————————————

      In June
      2007
      (then)
      Presidential
      Candidate Barack Obama
      declared that the USA
      “Was no longer a
      Christian nation.”
      —————————————————————
      This year
      President Obama
      canceled the
      21st annual National Day
      of Prayer ceremony
      at the White
      House under the ruse
Of “not wanting to offend anyone”

      ————————————————————————

      BUT… on September 25, 2009
from 4 AM until 7 PM,
      a National Day of Prayer
      FOR THE MUSLIM RELIGION
      was Held on Capitol Hill,
      Beside the White House.
      There were over 50,000 Muslims
      in D.C. that day.

      HE PRAYS WITH THE MUSLIMS!

      I guess it Doesn’t matter
      if “Christians”
Are offended by this event –
      We obviously
      Don’t count as
      “anyone” Anymore.

The direction this country is headed
should strike fear in the heart of every Christian,
      especially knowing that the
Muslim religion believes that if Christians cannot be
      converted, they should be annihilated.

This is not a Rumor –
      Go to the website
      To confirm this info:

Pay particular attention to the very bottom of the page:
      “OUR TIME HAS COME”
I hope that this information will stir your spirit.

The words of 2 Chronicles 7:14
“If my people, Who are called by my Name,
      Will humble themselves And pray,
And seek my face, and Turn from their Wicked ways,
Then will I hear from Heaven
And will forgive their Sin and will heal Their land.”

We must pray for Our nation, our communities,
Our families, and especially our children.
They are the ones who are going to suffer the most.
      .
      If we don’t PRAY
      May God have Mercy.
      IN GOD WE TRUST.

This is their ploy to cause agitation, stir up rage and despair, then violence, and they hope eventually to destabilize our country. Won’t work, we’re too strong.

    8. kitty on August 23rd, 2010 9:14 pm

Hate is a very strong word.

I strongly dislike the complete lack of respect being shown for the memory of those who died in a terrorist act upon innocent people and the heroic men and women who went to save those who were in the towers and on the planes (save for the terrorist cowards)~ (if I recall it was more like 3,000 people who died that day SM the figure is incorrect it’s not 300 as posted)

I happen to have known 6 people who died on 9/11. 2 pilots on the flights ~ 3 passengers on the planes ~ and a fireman who bravely went into the WTC to help those trapped…

To place a mosque within blocks of ground zero is absolutely, most definately a defiant and very insensitive act ~ it spits in the faces of not only those deceased, it spits directly in the faces of all the families who lost their loved ones on that horrific day of 9/11.

Be respectful to the memory of those whose lives that were taken that day ~ and to those who survived and are still suffering to this day…

To read that she is comparing this with the holocaust is outrageous and insulting to those who died at the hands of an evil dictator and also extremely disrespectful to their memory and to all those who died and those who were injured on 9/11.

Show some grace and implement peace by moving your mosque somewhere else ~ not shoving it square near ground zero as if to have a monument reaching the sky saying F U ~ why not rebuild the Greek Orthodox Church if you are for establishing peace and “community”… or include all religions in your “community center”…

Builing. Lets explore that. One can build community in many ways ~ loving thy neighbor for one ~ to play the intolerance, islamophobic, hate card~ be transparent and show who is behind this center, the motives, where the money stream is flowing from… what’s the true agenda behind this…

it screams divisiveness and shows contempt and hate towards innocent human beings ~ to those who we watch in the planes that evaporated and to those who we watched that jumped out the windows to their deaths ~ (I can’t type this without crying) and knowing that some burned to death and suffocated…

~ no matter what color, race, religion, there surely were muslims, Christians, Jews, Buddists, Hindu’s in those buildings and on the planes (save for the terrorist cowards) and they died a most gruesome death.

I’d like to know her (and all those behind the centers) true agenda here… it’s certainly not promoting peace and love and does not foster or promote “community” at all.

If they wanted to do something for the greater good for all mankind, an act of goodwill say, one would think that they would first and foremost be mindful to those who died and that they would erect a memorial, set up a fund for the children who lost a parent(s), help those who suffer now and fix the Greek Orthodox Church and show some TRUE character here.

      Not inflict more pain.

News Flash to Daisy: 27 Muslims MURDERED 3000 Americans in cold blood at ground zero. We Americans DO have a problem with building a Mosque within sight of that area.

If you want tolerance then start by understanding our position and show tolerance by building a few more blocks away. BTW, how many Muslims are within a 20 block radius of where you want to build that “place of worship”. Certainly not enough to support millions of dollars to build a mosque.

Islamists have to be the most hated period, along with the Nazis and Communists. Osama bin Laden is the most hated person besides Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin.

    15. Brenda in Virginia on August 24th, 2010 7:04 am

barbree, yes I agree we do need to pray, but also need to ACT. All too many Christians want God to come down and fix all for them. Simply not how it is. We need to pray for strength and for the eyes of the blind to be opened and see the truth of the matter.

We as Americans are in the greatest danger since this country was founded. The enemy is within and they are serious as hell.

I am certain many who claim Christianity only to find themselves looking into the business end of a gun…or finding a knife held at their necks would be too afraid to die to prove it. They would crumble to save their rotten selves.

I wish I could remember the name, but I have a book of Native American quotes. One was of an Indian’s last words in front of a firing squad. He said, “I am glad to die before my heart turned soft.”

As I type this I tear up because I would never disclaim my Lord and Savior. I’m not a perfect person, but I would prefer to die than bend. I am strong and hope this nation is as strong as it needs to be when this does occur, and I think it will.

    16. Brenda in Virginia on August 24th, 2010 7:06 am

One thing we MUST do is throw the false accusations back into the faces of the accusers. They are liars using Marxist tactics of accusing others of what they do. (how Hitler and Nero did it. Remember? Check your history!)

SM: Did owners of strip clubs or the strippers attack on 9-11? Did a miss a story that I should have covered?

The mosque planners have brought all of this on themselves and this is exactly what they intended to do from the outset. They knew this issue was like whacking a hornets nest.

Yes Dork…and blamed the Christians for it same as Hitler accused the Jews of buring down that important building (cannot remember the name of it) that enraged the German people. They believed his lies similarly to the way koolaide drinkers believe Obamanation.

you mean the Dutch “communist” who set the Reichstag on fire?
      He wasn’t a jew.

      (ignorance you said??)

Jews were prosecuted becuase they were easy identified and isolated and they had the money jobs (banking, jewelery, trade)
teh reason why they were so big in that is that the goverments of the time didn’t allow them to take jobs in guilds.
