The Near Ground Zero Mosque: A Truther? Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf’s Partner Faiz Khan Signed 9-11 Truth Petition

A TRUTHER IN OUR MIDST … WHY ARE WE NOT SURPRISED BY THIS!

From the Investigative Project on Terrorism comes the following. Make sure to check out the VIDEO’s and Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf’s partner Faiz Khan in his own words calling 9-11 and inside job. Faiz Khan, the long time partner of Rauf and a physician who claims to have been a first responder after the September 11 attacks has some major explaining to do.

There is a reason why Americans opposed the building of this mosque and it had nothing to do with the fact that they did not have the right to. The fact of the matter was, the whole situation did not pass the smell test … now the “Truther” comes out.

Faiz Khan, 9-11 Truther

But a trove of videos and writings available on the Internet shows that a longtime partner of Rauf believes the 9/11 terror attacks were “an inside job” by U.S. government and corporate interests, the Investigative Project on Terrorism found.

Faiz Khan, a physician who claims to have been a first responder after the September 11 attacks, is a founding member of the Muslim-Jewish-Christian Alliance for 9/11 Truth and is on the advisory board of the Muslims for 9/11 Truth. In an essay on the Alliance’s website, he argued that “the prime factor for the success of the criminal mission known as 9/11 did not come from the quarter known as ‘militant Islam’ although the phenomenon known as ‘militant Islamic networks’ may have played a partial role, or even a less than partial role – perhaps the role of patsy and scapegoat.”

In speeches, Khan says people in the Third World, where the “sleaze of governance” is more of a given, few people question whether 9/11 was an inside job.

Are we supposed to believe that the so-called moderate Imam Rauf did not know that his partner was a 9-141 truther? What about the US State Department who paid for Rauf to go to the Middle East and speak on behalf of the US? Did they even bother to vet this guy? How about Barack Hussein Obama, how do you feel now Mr. President that your Imam behind the near Ground Zero mosque has a 9-11 truther as a partner? Then again, as the Gateway Pundit reminds us Obama and his folks never cared enough to vet the communist, radical “green” jobs czar Van Jones to find out that he was one either. Ultimately, Van Jones was forced to resign because it was revealed he was a 9-11 truther … not the the MSM ever covered the story until his resignation.

I am sensing a pattern here. Why did the MSM not investigate this? Maybe NYC Mayor Bloomberg will have a change of heart and actually want this entire project now investigated. Investigating mosques un-American, eh Mayor Bloomberg, want to try again?

I guess we are supposed to believe that just like Barack Hussein Obama sitting in the pews for 20 years that he never heard anything hateful come from the mouth of Reverend Wright once again. Where is  Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf and his partner  Faiz Khan explaining themselves? Hmm? Just how much is America supposed to stomach? Americans are a tolerant people, we are not stupid!

If that mosque is built, I think we are done because although the Imam is saying he doesn’t consider the location holy ground…that means nothing. It is the MOSQUE ITSELF they consider holy…DUH…not the ground or they’d not have built on on the site of what is believed to be the original site of the temple for the Jews in the middle east. They consider Jews infidels, so clearly the spot their temple was on would not be holy ground either…yet the mosque? Of course it is…to them.

Imam is good at chosing words to hide the truth. Also, they are BURNING our flag to protest what they say is evil…burning their stupid Koran. Also, shouting death to those who do…and we want to put a mosque here @ ground zero? Something else for them to cherish as a bold step towards defeating the infidels of America (which is anyone opposed).

this would never have happened under Bush’s watch.
i hope you all know that obama is lending Brazil billions of dollars to fund offshore drilling !
and he wants to ban it here.
too bad some here voted for a turkey when we needed an eagle.
don’t forget that it’s our tax money he’s lending to other countries.

What is going to be interesting is when this Musk is started. How many Americans are going to want work on it. If they bring in outsiders as labors what the Union folks are going to do. I see a real mess on the horizon!!! On second thought the unions may back the Muslums by order of Obummer.

Why did the MSM not investigate this?

They both worked/started the foundation of an Islamic outreach group in the mid-90s, and Faiz remains within the circles of the New York Islamic community.

The guy is, on the face of it, crazy-stupid for his 911-truther theory. No doubt, no argument.

But to categorize his involvement with the Rauf as a “long term partner” is disingenuous.
      ______________
SM: He is his partner, that is a fact.

The real question is why were none of these people vetted by the media or our govt.

Why the Islamic community would tolerate a “truther” is beyond my comprehension.

But…and this surprised me as I googled it, according to a “Scripps Howard/Ohio University poll”, in 2006, 36% of Americans thought that the US Government played (at least) a passive role in allowing 9-11 to occur in order to provoke war. Shocking, to me, is that they found that 16% of Americans think that planted explosives brought down the twin towers and a similar number think a cruise missile hit the pentagon.

I hope that the pollsters are crappy at their jobs and these numbers aren’t true. Although the 36% number is possible given the state of public opinion on the war(s) in 2006, that 16% percent think that 9-11 didn’t happen at all. I wonder how this number compares to the holocaust deniers and that sort of thing.

I don’t agree that he is a partner, the term implies a more than what is evident. As for the organization that they co-founded, there is nothing particularly wrong with it. In fact Rupert Murdoch is a significant equity owner of the media conglomerate that is the primary Source of funding for this very same organization. So If you condemn this imam for being associated with the founding of an organization, then certainly you must condemn those that continue to fund it?

Though this also explains why the media doesn’t report this stuff…they don’t follow the money because they are the money.

SM: So they cofounded an organization but they are not partners?

Answer me this …. do you think he knew he was a 9-11 Truther? As I said in the post, that is as believable as Obama never having heard Rev Wright spew hate from the pews.

so imam Rauf knows a wackjob.

      so?

If you know somebody who is a criminal
      does that make you criminal?
      ____________
SM: It might, especially if you are in criminal activities with him, have you ever heard of conspiracy to commit?

This is why all of this needed to be vetted. All of what is coming out is the very reason why people wanted this vetted because it did not smell right,
      R

    9. Dolf on September 15th, 2010 8:01 am

      so whats the criinal activity?

      beleving in some bs conspiracy?
I hope not, because yo will loose a large portion of readers/posters.

      ————-
In 1996: I don’t think he had any idea.
Today: yeah I would assume that he does know that

    11. Flippy on September 15th, 2010 8:48 am

SM: So they cofounded an organization but they are not partners?

      —–
Organizations often form organically out of other organizations. If the Baptists (for example) started an organization to promote the awareness and need of international missionary work, they would send out a “casting call” for interested leaders and perhaps each church in the area would send a Deacon….

Perhaps they are friends, perhaps they are “Partners”, but I can’t make that leap from the news stories available to me.

Even that said, 9-11 changed a lot of people. I know one particular friend of mine became a “truther” and that was bad enough to be around but for a time we could just avoid the topic…then he started greater conspiracy in every news story and I don’t talk to him anymore.
