Rather metaphoric, isn’t it?
The US economy is in the tank, job reports are terrible, unemployment is near 10%, Iran has just gone nuclear, US debt is at $13,310,379,000,000.00, mortgage foreclosures continue, home prices expected to fall further and so on and so on and so on, yet President Barack Hussein Obama finds time to take yet another vacation.
On Barack Obama’s 6th vacation of the year, this time to Martha’s Vineyard … he can go to the golf course, but don’t go swimming in the water. According to reports, portions od the salt-water lagoon fronting the first family’s vacation estate on Martha’s Vineyard were closed down last week due to fecal coliform bacteria, ICK!!!

President Obama, who took a plunge in the Gulf last week to show Americans it was safe to swim the oil spill-plagued area, arrived on this supposedly pristine island yesterday in the midst of a rash of bacteria-induced beach closings.
Portions of Tisbury Great Pond, the salt-water lagoon fronting the first family’s vacation estate Blue Heron Farm, were closed earlier this week due to high levels of enterococci, an indicator that the water is contaminated with fecal coliform bacteria. Ew
Just to correct the MSM, Obama did not go swimming in the Gulf of Mexico last week, although at least the water was more swimmable than that he has on this weeks vacation.
Will the lack of swimming be used as an excuse for Obama to go on yet another vacation?

Who can stop American Businesses from fleeing the US for cheaper labor & low taxes ? Ford, GM, Baush & Lomb are all expanding into Mexico, not to mention the companies moving or having moved to India and elsewhere.
From what I’ve read some “American” businesses are going gangbusters, making record profits .. eleswhere

No kidding you guys. I’ve decided I”m not trusting the stock market any more either. Too frightening with obama and his Marxists in power.
I’m pulling every dime…what’s left of it after 9/11 and obama that is. thankfully I have a Roth and am more than willing to take the financial hit to have it in my savings where I can get to it if needed. Just don’t trust the economy one bit. Sad.
As most know I in IT. Our CEO was CEO of the year in Forbes mag last year. MOST new jobs are going where in this company? India. Not America. They dumped the American help desk just this month and went to India. Cannot understand a freaking word they say. Oh well. Glad I don’t need them, but the clients on the other hand are livid. So much for stimulus huh? BUT…the stimulus that went to AIG over to India? I believe it was used to build or pay for that massive NEW office building for an oursourcing oompany mine has now “invested” in. Interesting again, huh? (our company is an offshoot of AIG and if you want to talk about corruption at the top? My God the stories I could tell you I’ve heard and seen. Curl your toes.)

The US work force have been working harder and getting paid less, the upper management has ben having a bonus bonanza
