Do You Feel Stimulated, 48 Out of 50 States Have Lost Jobs Since Obama’s $787 Billion Stimulus

America, are you feeling stimulated yet?

As President Barack Hussein Obama parades out across the United States touting that the economy is headed in the right direction and his stimulus plan has been a success, We the People know the truth. As reported in The Hill, since the Obama stimulus was passed 48 out of 50 states have lost jobs. Of course the unemployment rate is also as 9.5%, a much different amount than the “dumb” 8% that was predicted and promised by the Obama Administration. Obama’s “Summer of job Recovery” has been a microcosm of his Presidency … all talk and no productive results for America.

House Ways and Means ranking member Dave Camp (R-Mich.) on Friday released data complied by his office that shows 48 out of 50 states have lost jobs since the February 2009 enactment of the economic stimulus bill.

“While Democrats promised their 2009 stimulus would create 3.7 million jobs, the reality is far different,” stated a release from Camp’s office. “To date, 2.6 million jobs, including 2.5 million private sector jobs, have been lost.”

According to the report, only Alaska and North Dakota have experienced positive job growth since early 2009. The District of Columbia also saw an increase in hiring during that period.

The report from Camp came on the heels of a Labor Department report on Thursday that showed jobless claims increased last week to 500,000, up 12,000 from the week’s prior total of 488,000.

This graph will come back to bite Obama & Democrats in 2010 & 2012 elections

With the economy being the #1 issue for Americans prior to the 2010 midterm elections and Obama and his Democrat minions failing miserably, look for the voters to voice their disapproval at the ballot boxes with their 41% approval – 56% disapproval with the economy.

The stimulus was nothing more than a pork barrel give away, nothing more.

Business does not want a one time give away in order to hire … they want to know that there is an environment condusive to growth and hiring.

Only foolish states that took one time stimulus money for permanent jobs like teachers & police propogate the ignorance that a stimulus works.

The feds, states and local govt have to do what Americans had to do, cut back on spending, make hard decisions and look to maximize your time, money and energy.
