Obama Economy Loses 131,000 Jobs in July 2010 … We Are Heded in the Right Direction As Per Obama

-131,000

Jobs in July 2010 fell by 131,000 according the the US Department of Labor.

Total nonfarm payroll employment declined by 131,000 in July, and the unemployment rate was
unchanged at 9.5 percent, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. Federal government employment
fell, as 143,000 temporary workers hired for the decennial census completed their work.
Private-sector payroll employment edged up by 71,000.

In June 2010 following the disappointing jobs numbers, Obama stated “we were headed in the right direction“. What say you Mr. President after these pathetic job numbers? Some thing tells me that Obama was just scratched from a couple more House and Senate campaign stops for Democrats.

Just when you thought it could not get any worse, it did. In addition, the government revised payrolls for May and June to show 97,000 fewer jobs than previously reported.

How anemic has the Obama jobs recover plan been that Obama wants to tout as working and headed in the right direction? For the first seven months of 2010, the U.S. economy added an average of less than 100,000 jobs a month. After shedding how many millions of jobs, Obamanomics can only add back less than 100K per month. UNREAL. What’s his answer … tax the people some more, provide more spending that is unpaid for in a form of welfare for teachers and call it a jobs bill.

The stock market futures are falling as a result of these poor and dismal economic numbers thanks to Obamanomics. These anemic numbers do not even represent a slow down in growth, they indicate a complete stop. No wonder President Obama’s Council of Economic Advisers, Christina Romer bolted the sinking ship. Does she still think that Obama’s stimulus plan will hold unemployment under 8%?

Here is some more bad economic news courtesy of the Obama economic recovery plan, 1.2 million discouraged workers in July, up by 389,000 from a year earlier.

Among the marginally attached, there were 1.2 million discouraged workers in July, up by 389,000
from a year earlier
. (The data are not seasonally adjusted.) Discouraged workers are persons not
currently looking for work because they believe no jobs are available for them. The remaining 1.4 million
persons marginally attached to the labor force had not searched for work in the 4 weeks preceding
the survey for reasons such as school attendance or family responsibilities.

As Michelle Malkin states, mean while back in Spain Michelle Obama and the girls have a great time. Maybe President Obama can do some golfing this weekend and ponder the new jobs numbers?

      It’s about the Economy, Stupid!

How’s that hopey changey thing working out for all those who voted him into office?

I honestly hope the economy continues to plummet- by the time 2012 is here- there will be no denying one of Obama’s first pledges to the Nation not only has not been honored- he is responsible for continuing to making it worse and contributing to more National debt.

Are we still heading for the rocks or has the ship changed course towards the reef ???

This president does not care what the true definition of right direction is, he only cares about his direction which is to destroy our country and say it is because capitalism is a failure.

This is all intentional and is designed to work in favor of the liberals. The worse it is, the better it is for their agenda.

The keep holding our liberty and safety hostage by threatening to cut police, firefighters so we are scared and hopefully run to their supposed fixes as in bailouts for the cities that they all will skim off of.

Little off subject but not far considering economic health has to take a back seat to a minor issue and how f’ed we are becoming.

      More liberal terrorism.

Here’s what I find interesting. I am Canadian and while I was 15 in 2008, I supported the Republicans for American office. The rest of my family is pretty liberal and they conviced me to turn to the left in 2009. Now once again I just find this presidency to be a complete joke. I mean what should you guys and girls expect from a president who served like 2 years as a US senator?

The MSM”s narative in 2008 was to ask how inexperienced Sarah Palin was rather than asking what was Obama’s qualification to be President. I guess we now know why they remained silent.

      Obama is a joke.

History is cluttered with fools like Barry who
want to plan a perfect society. Each fool is
oblivious to the natural laws of nature and
of the human psyche. The absolute coercive
nature of imposing that society leaves all
individuals without the slightest vestige of
freedom to choose for themselves. Government
      becomes the slave master.

      I completely agree Red.

8 millions jobs were lost and this clown applauds himslef when an average of 70K jobs are added per month. At this rate it will take 11 years to add back all the lost jobs.

Even an idiot who knows nothing of the economy could have added back more jobs at this point. Which means Obama’s policies are so socialist and anti-capitalist that he is purposely damaging the economy.

Can 2012 get here any quicker?

Will 2010 matter? I heard on FOX News while I was in Michigan that since 1994 at least, every time the GOP gets control of the House and Senate, more jobs are created than lost.
