Barack Obama Says It’s Time For Charlie Rangel to End Career … Look in the Mirror Mr. President

This is priceless, President Barack Hussein Obama told CBS News that is is time for US Rep. Charlie Rangel (D-NY) to end his career with dignity.  Rangel finds himself under a cloud of  problems under his 13 ethics charges.  Maybe Obama would like to listen to his own words. What took Charlie Rangel to do in 20 years in wearing out his welcome in the House of Representatives, Obama has managed to do the same as President  in less than two years.

President Barack Obama has kept mum on the fate of Rep. Charles Rangel (D-NY) for days – but he tells CBS News that it’s time for the embattled 80-year-old former Ways and Means Chairman to end his career “with dignity.”

“I think Charlie Rangel served a very long time and served– his constituents very well. But these– allegations are very troubling,”Obama told Harry Smith in an interview to be aired on the “Early Show.” and first broadcast on the CBS Evening News with Katie Couric.

Maybe Obama can take his own advice or “We the People” can make it a reality in 2012.

UPDATE I: Democrats calling for Rangel to resign to in order to lessen the blow of the 2010 midterm Democrat carnage.

Rangel is an example of the entire structure of power in D.C.. These folks have no conscience’, they do not perceive themselves as corrupt. They see themselves as deserving. “We The People” have allowed this culture of corruption to become entrenched. Mirrors for them won’t work….elections, voter education and demands for integrity are our only hope.
