Spencer Ackerman of the Washington Independent urged his colleagues to deflect attention from Obama’s relationship with Wright by changing the subject. Pick one of Obama’s conservative critics, Ackerman wrote, “Fred Barnes, Karl Rove, who cares — and call them racists.”
No liberal media bias … think again.
The Daily Mail has blown the lid off why those in the media refused to cover the Reverend Jeremiah Wright and Barack Hussein Obama story and their association for 20 years. There was a concerted effort by those in the media to shift the direction of stories and in the case of Wright and Obama connection, completely scrub it and any mention of it knowing that it would cause irreparable harm to the Obama candidacy.
It was the moment of greatest peril for then-Sen. Barack Obama’s political career. In the heat of the presidential campaign, videos surfaced of Obama’s pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, angrily denouncing whites, the U.S. government and America itself. Obama had once bragged of his closeness to Wright. Now the black nationalist preacher’s rhetoric was threatening to torpedo Obama’s campaign.
The crisis reached a howling pitch in mid-April, 2008, at an ABC News debate moderated by Charlie Gibson and George Stephanopoulos. Gibson asked Obama why it had taken him so long – nearly a year since Wright’s remarks became public – to dissociate himself from them. Stephanopoulos asked, “Do you think Reverend Wright loves America as much as you do?”
Watching this all at home were members of Journolist, a listserv comprised of several hundred liberal journalists, as well as like-minded professors and activists. The tough questioning from the ABC anchors left many of them outraged. “George [Stephanopoulos],” fumed Richard Kim of the Nation, is “being a disgusting little rat snake.”
Others went further. According to records obtained by The Daily Caller, at several points during the 2008 presidential campaign a group of liberal journalists took radical steps to protect their favored candidate. Employees of news organizations including Time, Politico, the Huffington Post, the Baltimore Sun, the Guardian, Salon and the New Republic participated in outpourings of anger over how Obama had been treated in the media, and in some cases plotted to fix the damage.

This is one of the worst journalistic scandals in modern history; make no bones about it.
Question is this: Why didn’t Hillary Clinton use this during the primary? According to Dick Morris, Hillary and the Clintons were one of the best at hiring investigators to dig up dirt on their opponents. There is no way her people should have missed this. If this were uncovered, Rev. Wright, during the primaries, Obama would not have won..PERIOD!
Because the REAL Goldfinger (i.e. George Soros) is truly running the show and if not for him Obamanation wouldn’t be golfing all the time (or our president).
Neither Obama or the Clintons have any power compared to those who paid to put them into place. Scary in the least.
Scott is it possible that the people supporting Obama already had so much dirt on the Clintons that Hillary could not survive a real mud slinging campaign?
If this is true, then all the ugly comments would have allowed McCain to win. Something that the Democrats couldn’t allow to happen.
Maybe someday the American people will find the truth concerning how Obama came out ahead of Hillary. There had to be a meeting involving both Democratic candidates and how to proceed. It was no accident.
Not surprised at all… The only president I know who sat in a church for almost 20 years listening to Wright preach things such as G.D America the us of KKK.. and Natalee Holloway was some white drunk girl that went to Aruba and gave it up. You are only racist if you don’t agree with Obama’s far left agenda..
It’s not news.. it’s propaganda.. That’s why they have lost so much credibility and ratings.
