More Bad Obama Polling from Gallup … the Highs & Lows of State Job Approval for The One

President Barack Obama’s polling numbers have trended downward since he took office. The recent Gallup poll of the top and bottom 10 states for Obama job approval is rather telling. The winner of the Obama state approval rating is Hawaii with 68%, even though the District of Columbia came in at 85%. Obama’s biggest nemesis and a state where he will be making no campaign appearances in 2010 or 2012 is Wyoming at 29%.

obama_gallup_states-approval

But even with the Top 10 states that Gallup listed as the most favorable for job approval, there is a damning trend for Obama. All of the states except Delaware have trended downward. Compare Obama’s present job approval to his 2008 election win in these states. Across the board, Barack Obama is polling worse than his 2008 election wins.

Hawaii – now 68% … 2008 election 72%-27%, Delaware – now 62% … 2008 election 63%-35%, Maryland – now 60% … 2008 election 62%-37%, NY – 57% … 2008 election 63%-36%, Connecticut – now 57% … 2008 election 61%-38%, California – now 56% … 2008 election 61%-37%, Rhode Island – now 56 … 2008 election 63%-35%, Mass – now 56% … 2008 election 62%-35%, Illinois now 54% … 2008 election 62%-37%, VT – now 54% … 2008 election 54%-45%.

Is it too early to start projecting an Obama 2012 electoral map? His numbers are down from 2008.

Barack Obama is under-polling in pretty much every state that he won in 2008. When it comes to the bottom 10 states of Obama job approval, the numbers have cratered in the low 40′s, 30′s and even one state in the 20′s. How will Obama’s polling numbers affect House and Senate races like in Missouri, New Hampshire, Arkansas and Kentucky?

Is it any wonder why Democrats are actually starting to fear they might lose the US Senate? Barack Obama is not only proving to have no coattails, he is becoming a political liability. Presently Obama has a -15 rating in the Rasmussen Presidential tracking poll.

Under pressure, the Democrats are cracking. On both ends of Pennsylvania Avenue, there is a realization that Nancy Pelosi’s hold on the speakership is in true jeopardy; that losing control of the Senate is not out of the question; and that time, once the Democrats’ best friend, is now their mortal enemy.

In the latest ABC News-Washington Post poll, Obama’s approval rating stands at a solid 50 percent. Check it out: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/politics/polls/postpoll_07132010.html?sid=ST2010071300027. Not bad, considering all he is handling right now.

Barack Obama got out of the shower and was drying off when he looked in the mirror and noticed that he was white from the neck to the top of his head.

In a sheer panic and fearing he was turning white all over, he called his doctor and told him what had happened.

The doctor advised him to come to his office immediately.

After an examination, the doctor mixed a concoction of brown liquid, gave it to Barack, and told him to drink it all.

Barack drank the concoction and said, “That tasted like bullsh*t!”

“It was.” the doctor replied, “You were a quart low.”

I laughed at that joke..simply because I think Barack Obama is FOS.. Jimmy Carter should be resting easier now.. knowing he has been replaced as the worst president. I am a registered Independent and can’t wait to vote against these people. The debt of our country is outrageous.. and continues to grow.. while they continue the spending spree.

When did a president have the right to start appointing czar’s for everything without even being approved by Congress?

Just read this today..after he used a jet to fly his dog to their vacation. So tired of these people talking out both sides of their mouths.

WASHINGTON (AP) – President Barack Obama wants federal workers to cut down on business travel and commuting by car as he seeks to reduce heat-trapping emissions produced by the federal government.

Wow, Maggie, totally ugly and disgusting joke. Congrats, you nasty, ignorant racist!

ABC-Washington Post, PA Mom. Washington Post, which leans to the RIGHT.
      ______________
      SM: YOU LIE

THE WAPO most certainly does not lean to the RIGHT. WHO THE F do you think you are trying to bullshit!

You are really credible arent you. The Washinton Examiner might lean to the right , the WAPO is like the NY Times.

Get your facts straight and do not lie here.

#5 you can call me a racist all you want and believe what you want.. Never been called one all my life..The total joke was I think Barack obama is fos.. Ever heard someone say to someone your eyes are brown.. so you are full of … does that make them a racist? nooo.. For all you know I could be African American and..or married to one.

Sick of hearing people being called ignorant nasty racists every time they oppose Obama’s liberal policies, aka bs. My opinions of Obama has nothing to do with his race.. put that in your pipe and smoke it.

    8. Paulus D. on July 20th, 2010 3:51 pm

Yeah, you know, Maggie, you aren’t doing our cause any good. I don’t like Obama, either, but your joke is really offensive. Isn’t there enough to talk about about his bad policies that you don’t have to joke about his skin color?

    9. Paulus D. on July 20th, 2010 3:53 pm

Maggie, George W. Bush appointed many czars, too, as well as Ronald Reagan. Here is a list: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_U.S._executive_branch_czars.

    10. Darcy on July 20th, 2010 4:40 pm

You really think that’s not offensive, Maggie?

    11. Maggie on July 20th, 2010 5:00 pm

If SM finds that joke offensive, they can remove it. I can promise you the only reason I found it funny is I think he fos.. and nothing to do with race at all.. to me..

George Bush had czars.. I didn’t approve of everything George Bush did either.. including the war in Iraq.. and thought he was fos at the time.. Not to mention the millions of American tax payers money that disappeared in Iraq to people who went out and bought mansions with it.

That being said I feel like Obama is running us off a cliff with debts we can never repay.. and may never recover.. Handing out money like it grows on trees with no idea how to repay it.

Maggie, I was born and raised in rural Texas in the 1970s. My mother was no civil rights advocate, but she was so dignified. We were an average white, Southern Baptist family.

When I was 8 years old, I hung out with this group of kids who regularly told jokes the one you just shared with us. I didn’t really understand–but I laughed along with everyone else. Well, one day my mother came to pick me up early and overheard these kids telling ugly jokes about blacks. She snatched me by the arm and yanked me in the car. She told me she better never see me laughing at jokes like that and that she didn’t raise me hang around with “trash” like that. Like I said, Mom was no hippie. She was actually more like a 50′s housewife. But she was serious about some things, this one of them. She then told me she’d “wear me out” if she ever heard me say anything remotely like that. “We’re not trash, little girl. We don’t put people down for their skin color. We’re no better than they are. Do you understand me?” She was a big believer that Jesus died for ALL of our sins, and He meant everyone.

If you sincerely aren’t being racist, I just can’t fathom why you’d repeat something like that even if for your own dignity. I was taught that it was beneath me to say something like that, so maybe that’s my bias.

Comment #4, heads of task forces called czars have been appointed by many US presidents, Democrat and Republican. I think the tradition goes back pretty far.
      _______________
SM: Yes it does, but the other American Presidents did not taking appointing czars like Obama did literally and actually appoint Communists.

They also did not appoint as many.

      Nice try LEFT,
      R

    14. Maggie on July 20th, 2010 5:43 pm

Darcy as I said… it had nothing to do with race to me..simply that I think he is fos.. I could care less if Barack Obama was green, yellow, purple, black, white, orange.. I still wouldn’t agree with his liberal polices. If Colin Powell would’ve ran for president.. I would be the first to vote for him..

    15. Gigi on July 20th, 2010 5:48 pm

There seems to be a lot of noise in the Tea Party about czars. I was trying to remember where I saw that, and it’s in this video footage (with a young guy asking people in attendance questions) of a Tea Party rally in DC: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUPMjC9mq5Y. Several Tea Party ralliers mention Obama’s army of “czars” and say that he created the position of czar. Where is this misinformation coming from?
      ______________
SM: Obama did not create czars, he just appointed communists as czars.

I am against any czar whether they be of any party. When a republican president is elected in 2012 I will espouse the same.

Rasmussen’s not a reliable poll. It is the most controversial one around. It’s like saying Fox News is impartial.
      __________
SM: Please gigi, go back to watching MSNBC, please.

Rasmussen is the most trusted name in polling and has been for years. You phonies on the LEFt are are just. Why would a pollster want to be bias and have no credibility?

I guess Rasmussen was controversial when he called Obama’s victor over McCain spot on. Hmm? Please stop drinking the Kool-aide and have some cred.

Try it, you might just learn something.

Oh, that’s right … Rasmussen called the GWB wins spot on too. Just because a pollster does not drink at the Fountain of Obama, does not make them controversial. Rasmussen is the closest thing to a sure thing there is in polling.

To say otherwise is a lie.
