Racism and the NAACP … Obama Official Shirley Sherrod Admits that She Openly Discriminates Against Whites (Update: Racist Official Resigns)

RACISM KNOWS NO COLOR … OR IGNORANCE!

The following is brought to you from the NAACP, the same organization that stated they were against racism in the Tea Party. Are they willing to condemn themselves? Will the NAACP repudiate their own invited speakers and Obama officials? But wait, let’s talk about how the Tea Party is so racist … will the MSM have the guts to cover the story.

Today, NAACP delegates passed a resolution to condemn extremist elements within the Tea Party, calling on Tea  Party leaders to repudiate those in their ranks who use racist language in their signs and speeches.

The Tea Party does what NAACP? As we have stated in the past, those that live in racist, bigoted house should not throw the race card. The following is unbelievable and not only did this individual speak at the NAACP award, she is an Obama Agriculture Secretary.

Via Breitbart TV comes the following … Shirley Sherrod, who was appointed last year by Obama’s Agriculture Secretary, admitted in a speech at the NAACP that she discriminated against farmers because they were white.

What did the NAACP audience do when she spouted her racist and bigoted words … they laughed, clapped and cheered. This is truly despicable.

For months the NAACP and the Obama minions have been crying racism that took place at Tea Parties; however, have zero video or audeo proof that it took place. Enter BIG GOVERNMENT who has uncovered the above video from the NAACP Freedom Fund dinner in Georgia. The video shoes and Obama federal appointee describing her racist behavior toward a white farmer in need of federal assistance.

What is worse than what this woman did in acting in such a racist manner to deny an individual help based solely on their skin color was the fact that she had no issue discussing it and was proud of herself. Imagine an individual so smug and comfortable in her racism that she shares it in public with others as a speaker.

Andrew Breitbart tweets, she has resigned. Shirley Sherrod, this racist Obama federal hack has resigned. A statement has been issued by the USDA via Fox News:

“There is zero tolerance for discrimination at USDA, and I strongly condemn any act of discrimination against any person,” Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack said in a written statement. “We have been working hard through the past 18 months to reverse the checkered civil rights history at the department and take the issue of fairness and equality very seriously.

Sherrod explained in the video that, at the time, she assumed the state or national Department of Agriculture had referred the white farmer to her. In order to ensure that the farmer could report back that she was indeed helpful, she said she took him to see “one of his own” — a white lawyer.

“I figured that if I take him to one of them, that his own kind would take care of him,” she said.

The video clip was first posted by BigGovernment.com. The clip is dated March 27 from an NAACP Freedom Fund banquet.

As stated by Jammie Wearing Fool and so many others … the NAACP remains silent and no apology or repudiation. Kudos to Andrew Breitbart, he has done it again.

EXIT QUESTION … how will the MSM cover the story of the resignation of an Obama appointee and not reference that she was a racist? Now back to the MSM coverage that the Tea Party is racist.

Oh No! A black person a racist! Can’t be. YoYo thinks only white people that oppose Obama are racist.

Oh let’s hear what kind of spin YoYo will put on this one. I’m sure it’s Bush’s fault. LOL

YoYo your color blind to your side or can you say to everyone that reads this blog that this black woman is a racist?

Or just maybe it is a little on both sides?

Its “O”s beleive, who he is, what is does, his policy that everyone should be concerned with not the skin color .

Would you knowing support a murder just on skin color?

How about someone that would destroy your way of life?

Maybe a commit? Just because of their skin color?

Would you stand by and let somebody end America just over skin color?

America was not divided like it is now over skin color. What happen?

“O” did this, with the hate he has against the white people. He attended a racist church full of hate. “O” looked up to the man that spewed this hate from the pulpit every Sunday morning. Behind the big smile is an evil man bent on taking away our GOD given freedoms.

If I have to die…I choose to die free. LORD Jesus help people like yo yo see the truth.

#2—-Mihelle—–Amazing, isn’t it? NAACP appears filled to the rim with tons of Racists in the organization, yelling and screaming at Caucasians everywhere that their rights are being violated. What else is new, I say.

YoYo sucks, and he and his RACIST minions will blame everything on GWB & the GOP until the year 2050 most likely. Clueless, hypocritical bleeding heart libs, the lot of them. Baseless rants and bogus claims, and all they can do is pull the race card and point the finger at any opinion or opponent which differs from the MORONS they are mesmerized by.

So sad, really but as you have mentioned before- if they weren’t so damned pathetic they would actually be hysterically funny. Delusional at best.

You guys are such hate-mongers. She was referring to an act that changed her mind on race relations. It is no wonder this world is so full of strife because of all the lies and deceit. God has a hand on this world and will judge us all at the end. I am praying for this world.

“Stupid is as stupid does”? Thank goodness Ms. Sherrod’s arrogance and bigotry was caught on tape…lol! Racism doesn’t get any better (or worse) than this! Ms. Sherrod is now trying to back paddle her way out, but it ain’t gonna work ;-) Shirley she isn’t a member of Reverend Wrong’s congregation…

    12. Ruth Less on July 20th, 2010 6:33 pm

To be fair, Ms. Sherrod did help the white farmer save his 500 acre farm. The old farmer told CBS NEWS “She was as nice as she could be.” He then went on to say she should not have been fired. One thing about the video – a vital part of it was edited out where she says there is no way she could NOT help white farmers. In her speech to the NAACP she was responding to the widespread plight of black farmers. I conclude she is not racist. You have to listen to the rest of the speech.
      _____________
SM: She is a racist. She is fat more a racist that the one’s that the LEFT is calling Tea Party folks. So se see the Left’s game, even when caught on video and audeo being racists, they deny it.

One thing about the NAACP video of Shirley Sherrod
      http://datechguy.wordpress.com/2010/07/20/one-thing-about-the-naacp-video-of-shirley-sherrod/

      …that nobody is mentioning.

Look at the crowd reaction when she says this. Is there shock? Is there disgust? Is there anger? Nope, they are with her all the way.

That says more about the NAACP than anything Sherrod did. The NAACP didn’t reject Shirley Sherrod that night or last week because they never had a problem with what she said.

If Andrew Brietbart didn’t put out that video they would still be behind her. The only reason why Ben Jealous et/al have rejected Sherrod is because what she said to them behind closed doors in the past has been exposed to the general public. It is the same as Barack Obama and Rev Wright, if those videos of Wright didn’t exist he would be a regular guest at the White House today.

    13. Ruth Less on July 20th, 2010 6:36 pm

The white right is desperate. They will use any and everything that appears scandalous to use against the Obama administration. All lies. Those who care to know the truth of the matter will dig deeper and not take the white rightwingers’ word for anything.
      _____________
SM: Hmm, why are you making race an issue and continue to do so? Every think you might have an issue?

Why would anyone care what color a President is? Seriously, your comments are a gross lie. If Obama did 50% of what he claimed during the election he would have an approval rating of 60+ percent. If he actually crated policies where the economy flourished and jobs were created he would be applauded.

The people you are calling right wing racists are really the Independent middle. That is what has abandoned Obama.

    14. wolfgang on July 20th, 2010 7:10 pm

Well that incident was 26 years ago or some such and why bring it up now, she says. Well how long ago was slavery and it is brought up all the time like WE folks living now have slaves!! I am sure no one in my family had slaves, we were too poor…only the wealthy had the money.

    15. Steve Holloway on July 20th, 2010 10:20 pm

Obama’s main goal is to take complete control of America before the November elections. He is trying to divide us any way he can. Using race against race works, but the tea party is not falling for it.

People pray that his heart will receive Jesus as his Savior and for him to stop this take over and if he does not, then to be removed from office before his plans are in concrete.

    16. Ruth Less on July 20th, 2010 11:05 pm

Ms. Sherrod was telling about her contact with the Spooner family. Regardless of crowd reaction or what you perceive about her feelings about whites, in the end she helped them save their 500 acre farm. That alone speaks volumes for her. If the table was turned the other way, how many white officials would help blacks?
So, go on and make a big deal of nothing. She has already filed a wrongful termination suit, which I am sure she will win.
You people have nothing better to do. We will show you in November the same way we showed you in 2008 when Barack H. Obama became president of the United States of America. Bitter people never win

SM: Sorry, but the audiences reaction just might be the story here. Sorry if the LEFT wants to disregard the fact that the organization who wants to brand others as racist, were acting racist themself.

Also, just curious … how did the Obama folks not vet this person and know about this in advance if it happened so long ago and was something that profoundly shaped her?

So with her firing, is the LEFT admitting that cries of racism are met with knee jerk reactions of firing?

      It works both ways.

I agree, a country divided is easier to conquer. Divide and conquer

    20. Michelle Smith on July 21st, 2010 9:36 am

She is a racist. She did not help the white farmer, she took him to white lawyers to help him. The NAACP is a racist organization just as “The Black Panthers”. It’s all about starting a race war. This country is more divided now than before Obama got elected. These organizations are more racist than any of your tea party groups but they sure keep bringing that up. What about the KKK? Who do you think started that organization? The democrats but the blacks just love the democratic party and hate the Republicans who actually have done more to help the black community than the democrats. Martin Luther King was a Republican because he knew what the democrats were about. Booker T. Washington was a Republican. WOW! Imagine to influential black men in this Country were Republicans. I guess the Republicans aren’t so racist afterall.

It’s time we join together to fix the racial issues instead of bickering back & forth about who is more racist. The left will spin things in their favor. It doesn’t surprise me that when confronted with evidence both video & audio of racism they downplay it or spin it into something else. Yet you have a couple of black Senators that claim they were spit on and called racial slurs and you guys lap it up with a spoon and not a shred of video or audio evidence to back it up. You just can’t accept that your party is full of racist and evil folks.

Keep your head in the sand and you will be left behind.

It reply to your comment … NO he is not that kinda guy. Do not think for one sec that her firing did not go thru the WH. This President, who was supposed to be post-racial, has been nothing but racial. Just ask the police in Cambridge, MA.

The ridiculous knee jerk reaction by the WH was done in an attempt to not have FOX News beat them over the head with the story and to pander to the White independnts vote who he is losing in droves.

It is pathetic that once again this WH acted stupidly. Their rush to judgement to call some one a racist. The 90% black America who voted for Obama should take a real close look what Obama just did.

As for the NAACP, what a bunch of fool. They claim they were duped, yet they were in possesion of the actual VIDEO. All they had to do was review it and make a comment. Was that too difficult.

However, this is the sick BS times that we live in where people are all to wanting to call people racists when there is none.

The learning lesson for blacks in this should be, how does it feel to be unfairly branded a racist. Not very good I bet. It is just the same when a white person is branded the same, when there is no merit.

The race card must come to an end and and the “R” word used only when it actually exists. To overuse it diminishes actual racism.

This just goes to show how STUPID these libtard dummy race baiting fools act.

Hey dummies; you do realize that the NAACP owned that tape? Are you that naive and your head shoved so far up the Prez a$$ that you believe the NAACP did not know the full extent of the tape THAT THEY OWNED before that came out against this woman? Are you that stupid to think that this tape was not vetted by anyone in the Obama administration before she was fired?

You libtards need to get your facts straight.

The bigger issue of her speech is her left wing progressive socialist/marxist thinking of taking from the HAVE’s and giving it to the HAVE NOTs! Now according to most libtards who/what race makes up about 90% of the HAVE NOTs?

The notion of taking from the provider and giving to the receipient (those who make up the 50% that do not pay federal income tax) is racist on its FACE!

The NAACP can not be “snookered” since they OWNED the damn tape.

I believe this was a ploy by the NAACP to bring the race issue out some more as this is obviously the Obama administration and the libtards plan to “incite” a voter turnout in November and in 2012! I believe someone in the NAACP edited this tape and knowingly leaked it.

Don’t be fooled by these people!

      Hmmm…

I agree with Scared Monkeys that we need to chill calling everyone racist, race baiting, libtards, ad infinitum, ad nauseum.

If you look at the editing this Breitbart blog did on the tape, it was a pretty good piece of PROPAGANDA and it got the job done.

You know that both sides do it, it just isn’t called by it’s true name, PROPAGANDA. The NAACP did it and got a tea party barred for a satirical piece that was meant as satire. Thin skin exists on both sides of the political spectrum, I guess.

My point is that propaganda is an incendiary tool that stirs immediate emotion. Once exposed as trash, it is irrelevant as damage is already done. It is used to evoke emotion many times by twisting facts(don’t we know it!)

PROPAGANDA is a term I intend to unearth as I see it everyday on both sides of the spectrum, so I will call ‘em as I see ‘em. True journalism, right or left, begins with the five w’s, a primer most have either seemed to disregard, like Breitbart and the NAACP, or never attempted to learn.

I’ll leave with an example of propaganda I learned a half century ago…

      In a two car race…
      The Russians came in second
The United States came in next to last!
      _______________
SM: What was learned in all of this? The black comminity learned what it was like to be labeled a racist and lose their job on no basis. How many times has this happened to a white individual targeted by racie baiting organizations?

How come Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are not marching on the Obama White House and demanding … no justice, no peace? Think they would be doing it if the President was of another color? They answer is yes and thus lies the problem.

The blame lies squarely on the shoulders of Brietbart, whose agenda was to tarnish the NAACP and Sherrod. As a result of his one-sided editing, he is now discredited forever. FOX News, furthering their racist agenda, joined the fray that has made Sherrod a hero in the eyes of many. This backfired big time for the racist right wing conservatives. Obama is just a side issue. However, Vilsak should be reprimanded for his rush to judgment and not allowing due process. The NAACP needs their asses kicked too.

Breitbart is just a PROPAGANDIST, that is what is does for a living…

I can’t blame him for doing his job.

But what about the NAACP, who CONDEMNED Ms Sherrod? WHAT IS THEIR EXCUSE?

…and lest we forget…a brief journey in history. The antiquated and irrellevant Rev. Jesse Jackson, whose triumphant Budweiser boycott abruptly ended when one of his sons “earned” the biggest Anheuser-Busch distributorships in the USA! Yowssah!

Let’s see, the NAACP exploited a SATIRE of a letter to Pres Lincoln as a true representation of history! That is just sick! I will NEVER be that politically correct to sheepishly quiver when satire is being presented regardless of race. And yes, IT WAS FUNNY!!!

So, please, just chill and enjoy some humor…it doesn’t hurt! This is coming from a “dumb” Pollack!

      #31-SM,
As most might recognize, I was referring to the fools on this site, not the parties you want to talk about. Lets see: “got this story initially wrong”? Who might that really be? Factually speaking, that would be Breitbart, Fox News, and all the blogs who carry water for this group of scum (including their loyal band of commenters). I present the evidence above for those skeptics in the audience.

Of course, they knew it was wrong and they purposefully ran with this to smear a decent person, in an attempt to get the initial results that we all saw transpire. How much cognitive dissonance does it take to support the edited video and yet call out the WH when they react as was the intent of the video?

As far as the NAACP, no matter what they had or did, “this story and some one being called a racist would never had occurred” is laughable. In fact, that is exactly what happened; how can anyone claim it couldn’t have happened?

As for the President; I heard he apologized to Ms. Sherrod in a brief conservation they had. Unless there is evidence to indicate he is involved in her resignation (dismissal), we may have to disagree on what we think happened.

Facts; I’m well aware of all the facts of this story, and don’t need you to presume to advise me of your perceptions. I wish that your article could make the same claim.

p.s. – NAACP claimed that “elements” of the Tea Party were racist; which is why they took this action:
“We have expelled Tea Party Express and Mark Williams from the National Tea Party Federation because of the letter that he wrote,” National Tea Party Federation spokesman David Webb said on CBS’s “Face the Nation.” With results like that, how can anyone argue that the NAACP comment was not accurate?

I think it is refreshing in this day and age to finally here someone admit their truth. So she had a racist thought, don’t we all. She admitted it and she admitted that she was wrong. How refreshing! If you are a true Christian, this is what it’s all about. Forgive, forget rejoice in her honesty and move on. How many of you have never had a racist thought against anyone? Mostly you have to admit you have at sometime in your life. Would you admit? Could you admit in a public forum? Do you have the courage to admit it? Only cowards would condemn someone for admitting the truth. Think about it.

This is over folks. History will record Shirley Sherrod as a hero and Andrew Brietbart as the bitter racist he is. As it should be

sorry to inform people racism is everywhere amd always will b the main reason when everyone was originaly put here they where seperated by race in different continents because of race, culture and beleifs our maker knew we would never be able to live together in unity . not one races fault, every race is just as racist against everyother. we messed up by wanting power and expanding this is not how god intended to be and this is why the world is soon to be extinct it is time to correct our wrongs and we will all suffer for disrupting gods plan, hope everyone enjoys it while u can.
