Dem Rep Sheila Jackson Lee Tells NAACP: All Those Who Wore Sheets Now Wearing Tea Party Clothing

The race baiting continues from the Democrat Party. Remember when electing a black President meant that race relations would get better in the US? It would seem that no one sent that memo to the Democrats.

Democrat US Representative Sheila Jackson Lee tolds the  NAACP that “All Those Who Wore Sheets a Long Time Ago Lifted Them Off to Wear Tea Party Clothing.”This comment was met by applause. Just curious Ms Lee, did you make these same comments toward the late Senator from WV Robert Byrd, the form Klan member? Hmm? Seems like brilliant minds think alike.

A note to US Rep Shelia Jackson Lee, it would appear like some of the sheet wearing KKK members that you described actually became your colleaguesin Washington, DC and not Tea Party folks. So this is what an Obamanation looks like? Being called a racist and KKK member just because you disagree with a socialist agenda that is destroying America. I guess  Shelia Jackson Lee would consider our Founding Fathers racists as well?

And I thank you professor very much. I’m going to be engaging you with those very powerful numbers that you have offered on what the tea party recognizes, uh, or is recognized as. Might I add my own P.S.? All those who wore sheets a long time ago have now lifted them off and started wearing [applause], uh, clothing, uh, with a name, say, I am part of the tea party. Don’t you be fooled. [voices: "That's right.", applause] Those who used to wear sheets are now being able to walk down the aisle and speak as a patriot because you will not speak loudly about the lack of integrity of this movement. Don’t let anybody tell you that those who spit on us as we were walking to vote on a health care bill for all of America or those who said Congresswoman Jackson-Lee’s braids were too tight in her hair had anything to do with justice and equality and empowerment of the American people. Don’t let them fool you on that [applause]….

So Lee gets upset when people use the “N” word, yet she has no problem using the “R” word with just as much irresponsibility. When is the LEFT going to understand that the “independents” are tired of being called racists simply because they disagree with the polices of Barack Obama? Who knew it was racist to be fiscally responsible.

These moonbats on the LEFT are not only going to cost the Democrats power in the House and Senate in November, but for decades to come.

Obama supporters and illegal immigrant activists need to understand that getting past race means you can dislike, criticize or disagree with African Americans and Hispanics just like you can with Caucasians. Calling those who disagree with Obama racists shows that THEIR view of the world is still based on race.

These people are so stupid. The democrats are the one’s that started the KKK not the Republicans. The tea party is made up of all races, religions and political affiliations. The tea party is not racist and has nothing to do with the KKK.

These people need to get a clue because this crap is getting old.

      Grow Up stupid liberals

America was ready for a black president but the democrats and the blacks weren’t. What a shame – they turn everything into a racist issue instead of a right or wrong issue.

As long as there are morons like this and there racist rants we will never have peace between the races. I dont much give a damn anymore. I dont feel the same about blacks and hispanics as I did just a couple of years ago. What a shame, I cant help the way I feel they did it too me.

Sheila Jackson Lee should know what bigotry looks like — she faces it every time she picks up a mirror.

She is a disgrace to the Congress and to the people in Texas she is suppose to represent. Her beliefs are much more reflective of her NY upbringing than the “git r done” attitude of the citizens of the Lone Star State. Her time is limited — my only regret is not living in her district in order to be able to cast my vote against her.

Sheila Jackson is in the same mold as Jessie Jackson (could they be related?) and Al Sharpton. Talk about a trio of Race Baiting Bigots, I can’t think of anybody any worse than those three at race baiting.

      Nun
The sad thing is Sheila Jackson Lee will probably continue to represent her congressional district.
Her district was delibertly set by the Democrats in the Texas legislature to be a black district. The population of the district is 80 per cent black and blacks vote in blocks no matter how worthless their represenative becomes.

The disgrace of this administration comes
from the incredible number of it’s members
      that are unashamed, outright liars.

How many of you have heard Sheila Jackson Lee speak? I have. I was at a gathering on the capitol steps in Austin. She was an eloquent speaker, a really decent person. She may not be totally right about this tea party thing, but she is not totally wrong either. I happen to like and admire her.

What I want to know is, where were all of these tea party protesters when the monsters, Bush, Cheney, Rove, & Co. were destroying this country!

There is no difference between the two parties. They are all selling us out to the highest bidding lobbyist!
      ________________
SM: BULL$HIT there is no difference, nice try. Barack Hussein Obama, Pelosi & Reid have shown the US that there is a difference. More liberal yalking points to try and stop the election carnage in November.

The Tea Party was born to make there be a difference. These folks will rid us of Democrats and Republicans pretending to be Republicans.

There is a huge difference today between Democrats and Republicans … iot even close.

      super dave –

Sorry but I have to say that your comments toward Sheila Jackson Lee are as bigoted as hers against the Tea Party.

It is one thing to disagree with another person’s beliefs and ideals. It is another to throw slurs at that person. Using those kind of tactics totally destroy your credibility.

      TO ALL …

Do all of you not understand what Sheila Jackson Lee, the NAACP, New Black Panther Party are trying to do?

They are trying to provoke a race war among whites and blacks. DO NOT LET THEM WIN. They want people to attack them … that is the only chance they have.

THEY ARE RACE BAITORS FOR A REASON.

Do not ever give these assclowns ammo, EVER!

Red…that is scary. I think you could be correct. If a group of white folks decided to start any group that excluded blacks, there would be such a scene and uproar….yet, they have all kinds of groups just for them and if any little thing happens that offends them, it is really a horrible scene. Where I live, the news rarely even says if a black person is involved in a crime..the only way I know is if they don’t say “white man, etc”…where is the fairness?

    24. Scared Monkeys on July 17th, 2010 3:41 pm

Here is some food for thought when it comes to the NAACP …

NAACP … those that live in glass houses might not want to throw stones. The NAACP would condemn the entire Tea Party movement that has no single leader for some signs that some misguided people had vs. an organizations acceptance of having Nation of Islam Minister Louis Farrakhan be a speaker. REALLY?

I am sorry to find this sort of incendiary material on Scared Monkeys! Actually I am sorry to find any sort of political agenda! I like the forum and the investigation of crime, but I can do without this far right carp! It is making me rethink my association with this website.

SM: Sorry if you find being informed shocking. Sorry if calling some one out that falsely accuses other of being racists offends your LEFT wing ideology.

How amazing eh, I web site that aids in helping find missing persons and investigates crime is actually done by a Republican. WOW what a shock, seeing that it is liberal judges that allow sex offenders to get off with light sentences.

Sorry if we are able to multi-task. If you do not think it is a crime as to what is going on in this country right now politically, you are delusional. Both Republican & Democrat politicians should be ashamed.

BTW, yes it is incendiary material to call people racists who are not.

Mary C. thinks it is perfectly OK for Dem US Rep Sheila Jackson Lee to call Tea Party people racists and KKK.

I think I am more sorry for you.

Anyone who thinks that it is OK to falsely call people racists without merit … you have an issue.

You would have a problem with an assication with anything for that matter.

This is how the LEFT operates. They hurl mud at people and then complain when presented with the facts.
