Jesse Jackson Wrong Again & Looks to Race Bait off the LeBron James/Dan Gilbert War of Words

A foolish and emotional comment, followed by a race baiting reaction … Jesse Jackson must be near.

What, a media event and Jesse Jackson is looking to interject himself, race and slavery into the issue? What a shocker! NOT! Dear Mr. Jackson, believe it or not most of the times people say foolish things because their emotions get the best of them, not because they are slave owners.

Jesse Jackson stated that owner Dan Gilbert looked upon LeBron James as … ”a runaway slave.” WHAT!!! Could Jesse Jackson be more irrelevant and insane these days? Jackson through his incendiaryrhetoric just demeaned the memory and bravery of runaway slaves. By the way, when was the last time a run away slave made the $’s that LeBron James made?

The “LeBron-o-thon” media event is thankfully over, but not for Jesse Jackson, the man who has made a cottage industry out of race baiting and keeping the black/white divisive issue alive. Following the decision by LeBron James to leave the Cleveland Cavaliers after 7 seasons, the owner of the CAV’s, Dan Gilbert, made some ill advised and emotional comments regarding James. From ESPN, the city of Cleveland and its owner were openly upset and felt betrayed.

As you now know, our former hero, who grew up in the very region that he deserted this evening, is no longer a Cleveland Cavalier.
OK, that’s a pretty mild burn, but a burn nonetheless.
It gets better.
You simply don’t deserve this kind of cowardly betrayal.
You have given so much and deserve so much more.

Enter Jesse Jackson and his predictable attention grab and divisive rhetoric. Jackson compared the Cav’s attitude to that of a slave owner who’s slave ran away. UNREAL. Check out the comments from Fox Sports Jason Whitlock, might I add he is a black man.

I could pretend Jesse Jackson speaks for such a tiny minority that his inflammatory, predictable and misguided remarks about LeBron James and Dan Gilbert are unworthy of rebuke.

But then, I’d have to ignore the mountain of e-mails that poured into my laptop from African-American brothers and sisters making the same argument.

Jesse has a constituency, a passionate group of idiots who believe the best way to combat white-wing political bigots such as Limbaugh and Hannity is with black-wing political bigotry.

And so, in defense of LeBron’s narcissistic ego explosion and Gilbert’s emotional reaction to it, Jesse compared Gilbert to an 18th-century slave owner.

“His feelings of betrayal personify a slave master mentality,” Jackson said in a statement released Sunday. “(Gilbert) sees LeBron as a runaway slave.”

Jesse Jackson’s full comments can be read HERE.

Interestingly enough, Jesse Jackson weas no where to be found when New Black Panther Party members were intimidating voters in Philly.

He’s kind of right. Lets be perfectly clear that this Dan Gilbert made millions upon millions upon millions OFF Lebron James and nobody else on the Cleveland Cavaliers. Lebron saved that franchise and brought it back to respectability for 7 years! Gilbert’s reaction was WAY off base and Jackson has a point because Gilbert is pissed because his franchise’s value has just been diminished to squat.

And if LeBron James was say … Larry Bird, then what?

The point isn’t that Gilbert’s comments were wrong … of course they were. However, like it or not he is allowed to voice his opinion. He never interjected race into the topic, we leave that to the race baiter Jackson.

Ball players are aloowed to leave their teams and Gilbert should have surrounded James with better talent. If he did and the won, James would have stayed.

However, Gilbert said what he did to rally the community and save his franchise because basically it all came tumbling down when LeBron announced he was leaving.

Sour grapes from a millionare owner does not equal a slave owner. Sorry, but an athlete being paid 100′s of millions of dollars does not equal a slave.

now we have Jaqueezy Obama playing the race card for her baby daddy by telling the naacp to step up the racism against white people.
this should tell their peasants that hate is foremost on their agenda. the audacity of promoting hate and racism.
