Hat Tip To Jesse Jackson

I have to give credit where credit is due. Jesse Jackson goes to Florida to support the Schindler family and Terri Schiavo.

The former Democratic presidential candidate was invited by Schiavo’s parents to meet with activists outside Schiavo’s hospice. His arrival was greeted by some applause and cries of “This is about civil rights!”

“I feel so passionate about this injustice being done, how unnecessary it is to deny her a feeding tube, water, not even ice to be used for her parched lips,” he said. “This is a moral issue and it transcends politics and family disputes.”

I really have to give Mr Jackson a lot of credit for this one. He did what any decent Reverend would do and come out on the side of life over politics. Not to mention there is no racial component to this story. It is not very often, nearly never, that I find myself on the same side of an issue as Jesse Jackson. Looking out my window I believe I just saw a pig fly by.

Sorry, Red, it was just not pigs flying…

It was a collection of over 10 camera crews in one place for more than a week. It draws Jesse like moths to the flame.
