The Barack Obama Administration Blame Game Continues … When will this Administration take ownership and stop the blaming others for their screw ups? Obama has certainly shown the American people that the “Buck Stops” no where with him. This is getting real old … Obama plays politics with an issues against the will of the people and then blames Republicans, yawn!
In an interview this weekend on CBS’s Face the Nation, Obama AG Eric Holder told CBS News chief Washington correspondent Bob Schieffer that it was politics that delayed bringing self-proclaimed September 11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed to trial. Who is playing politics with the KSM trial, YOU? The reason why KSM has not faced justice is squarely on the shoulders of Holder and Obama.
I BLAME YOU!
In an exclusive interview with CBS News chief Washington correspondent Bob Schieffer on CBS’ “Face the Nation,” Attorney General Eric Holder said that political posturing has delayed some of the administration’s top priorities — bringing self-proclaimed Sept. 11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed to trial and closing the prison and Guantanamo Bay.
Holder said the administration will make a decision as to where [the KSM] trial will occur “as soon as we can.”
“But we are bound and determined to hold Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and those who worked with him… responsible for happened on September 11,” he told Schieffer during the interview, which took place at the Aspen Ideas Festival in Aspen, Colo.
Holder wants to try Mohammed in civilian court, but some others say the trial should take place in the military tribunal system. The Obama administration is still in the process of determining what course of action to take, but Holder expressed frustration over the debate.
Barack Obama was for military tribunals before he was against it. Remember when Senator Obama in 2006 was singing a much different tune?
Are these people serious? The people playing politics with the KSM trial is Barack Hussein Obama and Eric Holder. The trial of KSM (Khalid Sheikh Mohammed), the mastermind of the September 11, 2001 terror attack was set and going forward in a military tribunal. It was Holder and Obama who played politics and halted the proceedings. Had they not done so, this case would have been over months ago and justice would have been served to this terrorist. It was Obama and Holder stopping the military tribunal which inturn created the possibility for KSM to have a show trial in NYC and make a mockery of justice.
The question that needed to be asked is why did Holder and Obama stop the military tribunal and insist on this being a civilian trial? No party politics there, huh? As Hot Air states, let’s get one thing perfectly clear who played politics with the KSM trial.
Instead, Obama wanted to score political points at the expense of his predecessor and canceled the trial — even though the White House later conceded that they would have to use the military commission system for other Gitmo detainees.
The only people who politicized this process are those in the Obama administration who insisted on delaying KSM’s commission for their own political goals. I’m not sure whether this is more chutzpah than projection, but it’s certainly both.
It was Obama who as a Senator was for a military tribunal, until he was against them to make political hay and attempt to embarrass GWB. That was until the topic got way to hot and he bit off more than he could chew and was forced to do a 180.

The Dummycraps call the Republican Party the Party of “NO”. The truth is the Dummycraps are the Party of Don’t:
1. Don’t take responsibility for anything you do or say. After all it is all the fault of Bush and the Republicans, we Dummycraps are Perfect.
2. Don’t use Atomic energy, Don’t search for Oil, Don’t Drill in the Gulf or anywhere else you might find Oil and/or Natural Gas. Don’t use wind generated power in MA becuase it might destroy the view the Kennedy’s have of the Bay. Don’t cap or clean up the oil leak in the Gulf because it might cause the well to rupture and the clean up will surely ruin the enviroment. Don’t use solar energy as it will cause harm to the enviroment as well. Oh, and by no means use coal for energy its NASTY and will pollute the air.
3. Don’t protect your borders because you might be an autonomaous country with soverignty. Don’t ship illegal aliens back to their countries because you will be a racist for enforcing the law of the land and it would be inhumane.
4. Don’t form organizations and especially “tea” parties that have a different political view from that of President Obama as you will surely be a racist. Don’t expect equal protection under the law when it comes to intimidation at the polling places if you are white and do what the New Black Panthers did (there is nothing new here they were bigots and racists before and still are) then you are surely a racist, or bigot, or right wing nut case.
5. Don’t expect private enterprise to run the country only to clean up the oil spill. All companies such as GM shall be owned by the government and don’t let them operate without union control as approved by the White House.
6. Don’t expect the law of the land be dependant on the Constitution, after all what to you think we are a Constitutional Republic. Besides the President has decided the Constitution is a flawed document and should not be followed.
Need I go on, do you feel like a sailor stationed in Norfolk, VA. where I have alwys heard it said they have signs that read “Sailors and Dogs Stay Off the Grass!” (I apologize to anyone from Norfolk, I grew up there in a Navy family and love the place dearly. But you must admit the above Urban Legend illustrates my point).

O’Reilly had a radio host from St. Louis last night, one of the founders of the Tea Party and she was talking about the death threats against her, her family, even her kids.

I appreciate wholeheartedly your response to my “complaint”. Terrorism and our response to it is an issue I take seriously. I feel that we need to deal with it much more intensely than we have and when I read about these forms of backroom deals being made it just boils my blood.
Your response shows that you and your blog has a certain integrity that is so woefully lacking in our(as AMERICANS, it is all OURS) present Administration and government as a whole at this point in time.
This is why the tea party was formed and is why they are succeeding in every area they venture into. People just want the system to straighten itself out, which it will in 2010 and 2012.
I guess I should write as you suggest. If not this subject, but one(and I am sure there will be many) in the near future.

The Lockerbie bomber(Abdelbaset al-Megrahi) should not have been alive to make the deal to begin with…but that is a moot point by now, as he is expected to live a longer life than the 3 months they gave him.

SM: Just an FYI … I actually have a personal connection to the Lockerbie bombing. One of my college suitemates girlfriend was on the Lockerbie flight that was blown out of the sky. It is even some times hard to believe the event happened so long ago.
When that deal went down, we all knew it stunk to the high heavens and there was more to it.
