UNBELIEVABLE!!! Mexican President Calderon to Address Joint Session of Congress to Push for Immigration Reform

Welcome to Obamaland or is it Alice in Obamaland where we have foreign leaders tell us how to handle illegal immigration. What has this country come to?

One day after bashing Arizona law for its efforts to deal with illegal immigration, Mexican President Felipe Calderon will be addressing a joint session of Congress to push his agenda for United States  immigration reform. Is this what happens when one becomes beholden on a country like Mexico for oil? They get to dictate to US Congress their agenda for immigration reform when Mexico has one of the most intolerant immigration policies?

One day after private meetings with President Barack Obama and White House celebrations in his honor, Calderon pivots Thursday to Capitol Hill. He is addressing a joint meeting of Congress, where he is expected to push for immigration changes and emphasize the economic priorities linking the U.S. and Mexico.

Calderon’s state visit comes at a time of renewed furor over the flawed immigration system from Mexico into the United States. From border security troubles to questions about how to deal with the millions of illegal migrants living in the U.S., the immigration debate remains politically vexing, frustrating and volatile.

Obama is lobbying lawmakers to get moving on legislation that would seek to deal with the security, employment and citizenship issues all at once. But he concedes he doesn’t yet have the Republican support he would need to get such a complex deal done. Whether any progress will happen this year is unclear.

Stoking the matter is a new law approved by Arizona lawmakers and set to take effect July 29 unless derailed by legal challenges. It requires police, in the context of enforcing other laws, to question people about their immigration status if there’s reason to suspect they are in the country illegally.

Calderon calls that discriminatory, and Obama agrees the Arizona law could well be applied that way. He has ordered a Justice Department review.

“A prosperous North America that benefits both Americans and Mexicans is only feasible if we work shoulder to shoulder and if we confront these challenges decisively and courageously,” Calderon said at the White House on Wednesday, pushing for cooperation on the economy, immigration and security.

Mexico does nothing to prevent their people from coming to America illegally and a majority of Americans think Mexico does not want to prevent illegal immigration to the US. The United States has become Mexico’s social welfare state. I would ask the President of Mexico to clean up his own house first before you dare tell us what we should do.

Hmm, this sounds discriminatory doesn’t it? What is that from, Arizona’s new immigration law? No, that would be Mexico’s.

Mexicans have priority over foreigners under equality of circumstances for all classes of concessions and for all employment, positions, or commissions of the Government in which the status of citizenship is not indispensable. Foreigners can serve in the military only during wartime.

I’d make that ‘Malice in Obowmaland’ due to the
display of intent by Barry to thwart We the People’s
best interests. Government-first policies are not
      permitted by our Constitution…something that
      keeps our Conniver-in-Chief scrambling for
      end runs.

Calderon’s home country has it’s own stringent
laws to prevent ‘riff raff’ from the south of Mexico
from ‘Immigrating’ northward. He is, however, the
first Presidente attempting to deal with the drug
cartels that are cutting the place to pieces. He is
in survival mode and will say just about anything.

This is just another attempt for Barry to show his contempt for the people and the constitution.
The senate needs to start fulfilling their duty to cut off this type of behavior by resolution or by impeachment proceedings.

Schoolgirl Questions Mrs. Obama On Immigration

Democrats and Republicans continue to trade barbs over the Arizona’s new, controversial immigration law and federal reform efforts, but First Lady Michelle Obama Wednesday saw the personal side of the debate, from the perspective of a child.

Obama traveled with Mexican First Lady Margarita Zavala to the New Hampshire Estates Elementary School in Silver Spring, Maryland, where a second-grade girl asked her about how immigration reform would impact her family.

“My mom… she says that Barack Obama is taking everybody away that doesn’t have papers,” the girl said, sitting cross-legged on the gymnasium floor with her classmates, while Obama sat in a folding chair next to them. A large blue banner hanging behind them, adorned with the American and Mexican flags, read, “Welcome, Mrs. Obama! Bienvenidos, Sra. Zavala!”

“Yeah, well that’s something that we have to work on, right?” Obama said. “To make sure that people can be here with the right kind of papers, right? That’s exactly right.”

The little girl continued, “But my mom doesn’t have any papers.”

Obama replied, “Well, we have to work on that. We have to fix that, and everybody’s got to work together in Congress to make sure that happens.”

I predict there is a plan by Mexico … a plan to be part of the United States of America and … the American Administration has underlying political reasons for allowing it to happen.

The border between Mexico and the United States can be secured if there was a will. For crying out loud … this is the great nation who had the technology years ago to put a man on the moon.

The illegals residing inside the United States can be identified and deported if there was a will. Profiling would not be an issue if proof of citizenship was a requirement of ALL to obtain employment … health care … education … housing … purchase of property … driver license …

I agree that this administration including all of Congress is scary. But I’m not very pleased with the low turnout across this country on election. If those who hate the direction this country is heading, we need to turnout in droves to stop this mania. We all need to be involved because I truly believe that those of us who hate the direction in this country are in the majority but if we don’t speak up and vote things will get worse.

      Spread the word!

Letter to the American Defense Society (1919)

Letter by then former president Roosevelt on January 3, 1919 to Charles Steward Davison, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the American Defense Society

“We should insist that if the immigrant who comes here does in good faith become an

American and assimilates himself to us he shall be treated on an exact equality with every one else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed or birth-place or origin.

But this is predicated upon the man’s becoming in very fact an American and nothing but an American. If he tries to keep segregated with men of his own origin and separated from the rest of America, then he isn’t doing his part as an American. There can be no divided allegiance here. . . We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language, for we intend to see that the crucible turns our people out as Americans, of American nationality, and not as dwellers in a polyglot boarding-house; and we have room for but one soul loyalty, and that is loyalty to the American people.”

What a disgrace Pres Obama is. He doesn’t think like an “American” and he doesn’t feel the way “Americans” feel. He just doesn’t get it and that’s why his actions are so inappropriate. Can’t wait for 2012!

Mexico has two Presidents, including Obama – and there is something terribly wrong with that.
Yesterday a foreign head of state stood on our soil and blasted Americans as bigots, complaining Our practice of Our law inconveniences him.
And our “president” embraced him, agreed with him.

Will the real American President please stand up???????? Moreover, today the other Mexican President spoke before our Congress and, again, lectured and chided Us. An official of Another Country addressed our Congress and bashed us.
And the Democrats leaped to their two left feet, applauding wildly. Obama couldn’t agree more.
Has this ever happened? Am I dreaming???

So long as I am, here’s a dream: November 2.
And here’s my next dream: Obama, Impeached.
Exactly what he deserves for abandoning us and standing by non-Americans.

Open borders, Amnesty, Welfare, Citizenship, the Vote. Mexico has two Presidents.
We haven’t one at all ! There is something terribly wrong with that. I’m disgusted and ashamed of “President” Barrack Obama yet once again.

It’s obvious the liberal leftist pigs are anti-American; including our supposed leader. No other explanation for this atrocity to let a leader of another country rips us on our soil; in our House (we pay for the place our congress works and we elect them so its our House) and for those we elected to give a standing ovation to a man who can’t speak understandable english is beyond imaginable and disgusting.

Our country is being over-run. We, all, need to STAND UP and take our country back. It’s time!

A total embarrassment. How dare the POTUS sit by idly while the President of another country chastises us and disrespects the hard working people of this Country.

Barack Obama is a wuss and will not stand up for this Country. He is anti-American and he needs to leave. It’s time to step down Mr. Obama. You have failed to do the job you were hired to do and you sir are FIRED. Take Pelosi, Reid, & the rest of the cowards with you. Go live in Mexico, you are not welcome here anymore.
