Obama Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner Praises “Positive Sides” of the Tea Party … Guess they Don’t Amuse Turbo Tax Tim

And now for something completely different … These people will say anything … THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION WAS FOR THE TEA PARTY AFTER THEY WERE OPPOSED TO THEM!

Obama Treasury Secretary Turbo Tax Tim Geithner praises the positive sides of the Tea Party. Priceless, Geithner suggests that The Tea Party movement’s concern with deficit spending and an out of control and record deficits under Obama could align the group with the administration in the future. What, Obama fiscally responsible, now that’s PRICELESS.

img_0613

This makes as much sense as Bill Clinton claiming expertise in marital fidelity, Obama’s discretion in choosing friends and pastors, Nancy Pelosi’s (choices) in plastic surgeons…..

Then again, the head of the IRS wasn’t quite bright enough to navigate ‘Turbo Tax’ software, so who knows?

We go from Obama mocking the Tea Party to Geithner praising them. Talk about good cop, bad cop … or is it just typical BS! Looks like some damage control for Obama’s ill advised comments the other day.

Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner praised the “positive side” of the tea party movement Sunday, suggesting the movement’s concern with deficits could align the group with the administration in the future.

Asked by NBC “Meet the Press” host David Gregory about the movement, Geithner said its concerns were informed by the expansion of spending under President Bush, and that the awareness now that there’s no way to pass an “enormous expansion of government without paying for it” is “an important change.”

This is a combination between the sublime, the surreal, the bizarre and the wishful thinking and concern of the Obama White House. The Obama White House has done nothing but add record deficits with their continued bail outs and out of control spending and $trillion Obamacare plan and he some how thinks and has the audacity to say that Obama cares about deficits.

TIMOTHY GEITHNER: –let me– let me do the positive side of this. Okay? We’ve– just been through eight years where people said– many people said, ‘Deficits don’t matter. We can– we can pass huge tax cuts, pass huge new programs without paying for them.’ That debate has changed fundamentally. Now you don’t hear people say anymore, ‘Deficits don’t matter.’ You don’t hear people saying that we can pass enormously—enormous expansion of government without paying for it. That’s an important change. I think all Americans understand that our deficits are unsustainable. And I think that’ll be helpful as we move to try to make the hard choices to bring them down again.”

I think American Power makes more sense in that Geithner is just enamored with the Tea Party hotties.

The fact is that Obama has a real issue with the Tea Parties and his Administration has yet to properly address the issues that they and many Americans stand for, The Contract from America:

  1. Protect the Constitution
  2. Reject Cap & Trade
  3. Demand a Balanced Budget
  4. Enact Fundamental Tax Reform
  5. Restore Fiscal Responsibility & Constitutionally Limited Government in Washington
  6. End Runaway Government Spending
  7. Defund, Repeal & Replace Government-run Health Care
  8. Pass an ‘All-of-the-Above’ Energy Policy
  9. Stop the Pork
  10. Stop the Tax Hikes

      Greetings:

I’m surprised by your surprise. I thought Secretary Geitner’s pr-selection actions proved that he felt he was Taxed Enough Already.

The troll speaks but do not believe. This is a ploy by the WH to try and persuade the Tea Partiers they are on our side. They are worried; NOW that the MSM is starting to pay albiet a little bit of attention to this movement which makes up roughly a QUARTER of the population out there; or a number as low as 18%. They see NOW the party is growing and at an alarming pace.

Don’t beleive a word of this crap after his boss, basically demonized us!

We must be so very careful. Hitler took over an entire nation by virtual hyposis IMO. Spreading lies and building up the less fortunate in society by birthing anger and hate within them and tearing a nation in two. I see the writing on the wall for us if we don’t get this decrepid traitors to the Constitution of the United States out of the White House…and return the country to those who are willing to be Americans and not beggers at the social services counter once a week.

Call me what you will, but many who are crying about loss of jobs now lived WAY above their means and made zero provisions for the future in case of such. Sad, but true.

Ah the troll has connections to Goldman Sachs as do others who hold positions at the WH or work closely with the WH. It’s all a big game being played out by the slimy Democrats; the only way they know how.

Seriously, think about this….why do you think for over 60 years these liberal loons have been trying to pass these social policies only to be rejected time and time again by the American people?
