President Obama Threatens to Not Support Democrats Who Vote Against Obamacare

Is this a threat or a promise Mr. President?

President Barack Obama has threatened Democrats that he will not campaign or help raise money for any Democrats who vote against Obamacare. How is that “Hopey, Changey” thing working out for you Democrats? Talk about your great bills for “We the People”, Obama has to bribe and threaten Congress for its support.

obama_godfather

So what Democrat with receive a fish in a box or a horse head in their bed?

The president will refuse to make fund-raising visits during November elections to any district whose representative has not backed the bill.

A one-night presidential appearance can bring in hundreds of thousands of dollars in funds which would otherwise take months to accumulate through cold-calling by campaign volunteers.

Mr Obama’s threat came as the year-long debate over his signature domestic policy entered its final week.

Mr Obama is personally telephoning congressmen who are still on the fence this week, in between several personal appearances devoted toward swinging public opinion.

This from the President who campaigned on the notion that he would change the way DC conducted business. Obama stated that he would act in a bipartisan manner and reach across the aisle to Republicans. Instead, Obama threatens members of his own party.

One would have to ask them self if it may not be a benefit to have Obama stay away from their Senate or House race in 2010. Just ask former governor John Corzine in NJ, Creigh Deeds in VA and Martha Coakley in MA, all who went down to terrible defeats as Obama campaigned for them. Face it, Obama’s poll numbers are tanking and are presently in the mid-40′s. There is opposition in every poll to Obamacare. The smart play for Democrats may be to vote against Obamacare and distance them self from the President. Not because it is the smart political play, but because it is the will of the people.

Here’s the thing: What good would any of this do? To preserve your seat in an anti-incumbent, anti-Washington, anti-big government year, you have to distance yourself from Obama and the national Democrats anyway — which is why you want to vote No in the first place!

The Obama WH has put deadline after deadline in place to pass Obamacare, all have been ignored by Congress. Let us not forget that Obama wanted this health care government take over sign, sealed and delivered before the last August break in 2009. The way it appears now the vote may take place after the Easter recess.

Obama has always asked for bipartisanship in Washington, DC. Now that he has it Obama brings out his Chicago-style politics of threats. There is bipartisan support against Obamacare. There are Democrats that do not support this bill yet The One insists they vote yea for it either by hook, crook, bribe or threat.  As The NRO states, just how many Democrats will there be this coming 2010 midterm election that hope that Obama stays away from their district?

Didn’t Nancy “Slaughter Solution” Pelosi Ever Watch School House Rock … “I’m Just a Bill”

Obviously Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and President Barack Obama never watched School House Rock … “I’m Just a Bill”.

Maybe they should, they could learn something about the Constitutionality of how a bill actually does become a law. Let’s face it, Democrats just don’t care whether what they do is Constitutional or not. Pass Obamacare at all cost no matter what damage it does.

More Hope, Change and transparency as Obama, Pelosi and Reid look to ram Obamacare down the throat of America.  Barack Obama promised to change the way Washington, DC conducted business. Who knew that meant throwing the US Constitution out the window. As the WAPO writes, the House may try to pass Senate health-care bill without voting on it.

After laying the groundwork for a decisive vote this week on the Senate’s health-care bill, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi suggested Monday that she might attempt to pass the measure without having members vote on it.

Instead, Pelosi (D-Calif.) would rely on a procedural sleight of hand: The House would vote on a more popular package of fixes to the Senate bill; under the House rule for that vote, passage would signify that lawmakers “deem” the health-care bill to be passed.

The tactic — known as a “self-executing rule” or a “deem and pass” — has been commonly used, although never to pass legislation as momentous as the $875 billion health-care bill. It is one of three options that Pelosi said she is considering for a late-week House vote, but she added that she prefers it because it would politically protect lawmakers who are reluctant to publicly support the measure.

UPDATE I: SC Senator Lindsey Graham stated Pelosi has House Dems ‘liquored up on sake’ ready for ‘suicide run’.We will go one better and call them terrorist suicide bombers. Might as well make the suicide mission more current.

Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) on Monday used language that compared House Democrats’ efforts to pass healthcare reform legislation to a Japanese kamikaze mission.

“Nancy Pelosi, I think, has got them all liquored up on sake and you know, they’re making a suicide run here,” Graham said on the Keven Cohen Show on WVOC radio in Columbia, S.C.

EXIT QUESTION: How bad is a bill if one, all polls show that Americans oppose it and two, Democrats are attempting every political trick in the book to get it passed, other than normal procedure?

Ask yourself why Democrats would do such a thing? It’s not for the American people.  The more ‘We the People” stand up in opposition to this bill, the more Obama, Pelosi and Reid thumb their noses at us.

The Obama government is out of control.

Health Care Pimpin’ – Using People’s Tragedies for Obamacare … Natoma Canfield, a Political Prop

Yesterday, President Barack Hussein Obama was in Ohio to shill for his government controlled health care plan. Or was it pimpin’? Obama goes to Ohio and uses the cancer story of Natoma Canfield as a political health care prop.

So we take a terrible piece of health care legislation and use emotion of and sympathies of this woman’s situation to pass government take over of health care.  Canfield’s letter to Obama is a compelling one, but is it the complete story? Hardly, as the Gateway Pundit opines in his post, wonder why Natoma Canfield was not able to introduce Barack Obama in Ohio yesterday? Because she was in the hospital receiving health care even though she had no insurance.

As Another Black Conservative states, Natoma Canfied is a 50-year-old unemployed woman who had to drop her health insurance because the price went from $5,000 to $8,000.  Natoma is terrified she will soon lose her home.

Wait a minute, lose her house? Does Barack Hussein Obama have the “Making Home Affordable” program that accounts for such things? It allows for loan refinancing and modification. Here are the eligibility requirement, it would appear that Natoma Canfield would qualify. By the way, Canfield is living in a house her parents built. Mortgage, eh?

Cancer Patient Who Wrote to Obama Will Not Lose Home, May Get Aid

Low and behold, looky here … she is actually eligible for Medicaid and charity care. The fact of the matter is it is an individuals responsibility to see what they may and may not be eligible for. Instead of worrying, mitigate your damages.

Natoma Canfield, the cancer-stricken woman who has become a centerpiece of President Obama’s push for health care reform, will not lose her home over her medical bills and will probably qualify for financial aid, a top official at the Cleveland medical center treating her told FoxNews.com.

Though Canfield’s sister Connie Anderson said her sibling is afraid she’ll lose her house and Obama warned at an Ohio rally Monday that the patient is “racked with worry” about the cost of tests and treatment, she is already being screened for financial help.

Lyman Sornberger, executive director of patient financial services at the Cleveland Clinic, said “all indications” at the outset are that she will be considered for assistance.

Do not get me wrong, I do believe that there needs to be some health care reform; however, nothing of what Obama spews is a fix. It is about control. This is about the incremental step to a single health payer system run by the government. While Medicare goes bankrupt, Obama and his cronies look to expand government run health care. Town Hall.com puts it best when it states that if Obama really cared about a health care reform for the people, health care would be maintained by the individual, not insurance carriers, employers or especially the government.

In addition, if the president really wanted to help people like Ms. Canfield, he would encourage the individual ownership rights over health care plans so the American people can maintain control over their health insurance, not employers or the government.
