So this is what passes as comedy for the LEFT these days, eh? So-called comedian Kathy Griffin said on Friday at a performance in Anchorage, Alaska that Sarah Palin performed a sexual act on John McCain in 2008. We kid you not.

Imagine, just imagine if something comparable was said about Barack Hussein Obama. After all, it’s not like he was a well known commodity when he was tapped to run for President and eventually elected.
So let’s see if we can understand the humor. It’s perfectly ok to say that a married mother of five children and popular Governor of Alaska gave a BJ to an esteemed and long time Senator from Arizona and a Presidential candidate who all but gave up his life for his country in Vietnam and was a POW for years. OK, some one find the humor in all this phony, slanderous BS. So some how fabricating the story and making a joke out of it that Sarah Palin gave John McCain a BJ to be VP is funny. Who knew?
I wonder how many female fools in the crowd would have laughed if it were them or their daughters that a false accusation was made of in order to make a joke. How about the men in the audience if it was their wife, sister, aunt or mother that was accused of performing a sex act for advancement.

Have you ever read the comments on Huffington Post? It is giddy fun to hate the other side. Then they whine because there is no collegial atmosphere in Congress and those Republican meanies just can’t grasp the brilliance of Obama’s latest health care plan.

The attempt by Republicans and/or tea baggers to discover proof of moral superiority in somebody making fun of Winky Palin is hysterical. I am reminded that Republicans always have an excuse for bad behavior; but the funniest example was when Republican Sen. Vitter was caught paying for prostitutes, and claimed it wasn’t adultery because he paid for it, and proceeded to assure Louisiana voters he shared their “conservative family values.” (Maybe it’s a hillbilly/chillbilly thing that Yankees just don’t get.)

I watched Bill Maher on HBO last Friday. If it weren’t for the ‘The Pacific’ coming up, and the boxing, I’d cancel. The humor is directed towards 14 year old adults. Infantile and childish. And there seems to be an abundance.

If she makes jokes about Sarah Palin it’s because many politicians and public figures are easy to make jokes about. She’s making sick, perverted, ill-informed jokes on a stage for people who like those kind of jokes. Has anyone ever heard of Andrew Dice Clay? I don’t think Democrats or Republicans turn to his shows and performances for political commentary. It’s the state of things today that people can’t tell the difference between bad satire and divisive politics. How about a real debate on the actual issues? I think people would be amazed to learn about where other people actually stand on important issues.
