Liberal Democrat MN Senator Al Franken Rips the Obama Administration over Health Care

President Obama, between a Barack and a hard place … The Democrat blame game begins within. It’s the latest Fox TV series … When Democrats Attack, Each Other.

Massachusetts Senator was just sworn into office and the Democrats in DC have already started to eat their own. Minnesota Senator Al Franken ripped the Obama Administration and David Axelrod over the failed Obamacare health care bill. How does Obama pander to the far LEFT when Independents are fleeing from him in droves?

Sen. Al Franken ripped into White House senior adviser David Axelrod this week during a tense, closed-door session with Senate Democrats.

Five sources who were in the room tell POLITICO that Franken criticized Axelrod for the administration’s failure to provide clarity or direction on health care and the other big bills it wants Congress to enact.

The sources said Franken was the most outspoken senator in the meeting, which followed President Barack Obama’s question-and-answer session with Senate Democrats at the Newseum on Wednesday. But they also said the Minnesotan wasn’t the only angry Democrat in the room.

“There was a lot of frustration in there,” said a Democratic senator who declined to be identified.

“People were hot,” another Democratic senator said.

However, as posted by Le·gal In·sur·rec·tion, Scott Brown would never have to do another thing during his time in the Senate to be one of the most influential Senators presently there.Look what Brown has already done for you …

Brown’s election may have prevented the national disaster known as the Democratic health care bills. It would have been enough.

Brown’s election has killed the national disaster known as cap-and-trade. It would have been enough.

Brown’s election has neutralized Al Franken’s role as the 60th Democratic vote. It would have been enough.

Brown’s election has caused Franken to turn his foul temper on the Obama administration.

As Obama’s approval ratings plummet and Democrats in the House and Senate now see their political careers ended thanks to Obama’s failed agenda … they are starting to attack. As stated by Another Black Conservative, thankfully the Democrats are now battling their own, they will have less time to screw up America.

When Democrats Attack Each Other … Let the games begin.

“Use Senate reconciliation and expand Medicare via the Senate’s buy-in provisions. The CBO has already signed off on this as a means of saving money.

More importantly, if more Americans can do a buy-in with Medicare, it creates more cost control (because there’s a genuine “public option” competitor).

It also helps to solve the problems of pre-existing conditions, because Medicare does not deny coverage on this basis.

Allowing a Medicare buy-in to Americans under 65 would give people a genuine alternative to private insurance and thereby render the pre-existing question moot.

It would also lower Medicare costs by expanding the risk pool of patients (the great bulk of medical expenses are accounted for by a small number of people, mostly the elderly, requiring very expensive treatment).

And it would substantially enhance the global competitiveness of American corporations. After all, in what other country in the world is health care a marginal cost of production for business?” – Roosevelt Institute Marshall Auerback

I am from Minnesota. I am not a liberal or Democrat and did not vote for Franken. My opinion of him has changed for the better though. He seems serious about being a good Senator and working for his constituents since the time he finally took his seat when the election was certified after the long court delay. He could be a political genius too by choosing not to take sides with the “Chosen One”

SM: The only thing is though is I do not believe that MN voters are for Obamacare. Franken for the most part has behaved since he became Senator, I will give him that.

However, he is not siding with the extreme LEFT of the party and that’s why he is flying off the handle.

      This all was so predictable.
