That Didn’t Take Long … Minnesota Senator Al Franken has 41% Approval Rating

Wow, that didn’t take long for Minnesota to figure out they made a colossal mistake in electing SNL funny man, Al Franken. Only 41% of Minnesota voters think Franken is doing a good or excellent job. Looks like the jokes on you Minnesota. After three months in office, nearly one-third of voters say Franken is performing poorly. This is going to be a long six years

Democrat Al Franken has been a U.S. senator for less than three months, but 41% of Minnesota voters think he is doing a good or excellent job.

The latest Rasmussen Reports finds that 31% of voters in the state say Franken, who narrowly defeated Republican incumbent Norm Coleman in a lengthy statewide recount, is performing his new job poorly.

Maybe the next time there is an election, all individuals will take as much thought into the voting booth as they do for voting for American Idol.

Frankenstein is a Minnesota voters nightmare. Maybe he can find some more votes in a car trunk for the next election?

Franken is the worst person in the world! His humor is unfunny and utterly nasty. He did everything he could to get this seat and I’d bet a million dollars he bought some votes along the way. I don’t feel sorry for those who voted for him. How could anyone vote for this man?? I feel as little pity for them as I do for those who voted for Obama. He did NOT run as a centrist. He didn’t earn the ‘most liberal senator’ designation for nothing!! People need to open their eyes and get the facts BEFORE entering that voting booth!

Al Freakin Franken may not be funny, but, he
certainly is a joke. His election may have been
swayed by ACORN’s army of voter gatherers.

They (the Democrats)along probably with elements ACORN STOLE that election.

I’m starting to wonder about the people up there though, first Ventura (wack job 9/11 truther) and now Franken. Come on Minnesota WTF?

I’m not sure why this article is saying that Minnesota voters are realizing they made a “colossal mistake,” since its clear from the article itself that more people approve than disapprove of the job Franken is doing. 41% approve and 31-33%, depending on which statistic they provide, believe he is doing his job poorly. Assuming that the remaining 30% of voters as of yet have no opinion, I don’t see this as a rebuke of Franken’s policies or performance, but as simply a sizable number of voters withholding their opinion for now, and the majority of those who do have an opinion support him. What an obvious distortion of the news.
