2010 California Senate Race: Even Democrat Senator Barbara Boxer Losing Ground to Republicans Fiorina, DeVore & Campbell
It would appear that not even incumbent California Democrat Senator Barbara Boxer is not immune from the slide in popularity and favorability in the polls. Even in a liberal state like CA, Boxer finds herself in a Senate fight. However, it does not appear that health care is the issue with California voters, it is the economy. 55% of California voters rate the U.S. economy as poor, while just seven percent (7%) think it’s good or excellent.
California Senator Barbara Boxer is now the latest Democratic incumbent to find herself in a tightening race for reelection.
A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of likely California voters finds Boxer with narrow leads over her three leading Republican challengers, including newcomer Tom Campbell.
No matter whether the issue is Obamacare, the economy, unemployment, etc … all are issues that President Barack Obama has polled poorly and the American electorate believes he has done a bad job on all of these issues. It appears that Senators and House Reps will feel the brunt of Obama’s liberal agenda come 2010.
