American People Have Learned that Barack Obama was not the Hope & Change they Asked For … Approval Ratings Still Going Down!

American … How is that hope and change treating you today?

How is that transparency doing in those Democrat closed door health care meetings? 2012 is right around the corner and Obama’s Hope and Change has turned into Americans hoping that there will be a change in the White House in 2012.

It is almost the one year mark since Barack Hussein Obama was sworn in as President of the United States. Americans voted in the first black President under the political catch phrase of “Hope & Change”.

Looking back on it and where Americans are today, the next to we have an election, the American voter may want to ask for a bit more that just a catch phrase and false promises.

What is striking is that this President and his Administration takes such a “let them eat cake” attitude when it comes to dealing with crisis when they have other previous engagements. Let me just be the first to say that the only saving grace to the horrible earthquake in Haiti and the hundreds of thousands that were affected, hurt and possible killed … is that Barack Hussein Obama was not on vacation in Hawaii when it occurred. Could you imagine the 7.0 magnitude earthquake taking place and Obama waiting 3 or 4 days to address the issue while he instead plays golf! That is what occurred with the underwear Christmas day bomber when he nor his administration could tear them selves away from their vacations.

Vanderbilt – 2010

Obama is good at finding time for basketball,
theater dates, tennis, golf, dinner parties, gym,
travel, Hawaiian vacations, surfing, comedy shows,
TV speeches/campaigning, teleprompter readings,
Oprah, wasting money, raising taxes, opposing
public wishes, imposing control, increasing debt
levels, bowing to the world while apologizing for
America’s greatness, and failing at practically
everything he’s attempted. He is not good at
being honest and open with We the People.

Barack Obama was voted in to office and had the backing of so many people, Democrats, Independents and yes, some Republicans as well. In less than one year Obama finds himself with dismal poll approval ratings across the board.

It is not just the Rasmussen Report that shows Barack Obama is under the 50% mark in his approval rating. A recent Quinnipiac University poll shows that American voters are split 45% – 45% on whether Barack Obama’s first year in office is a success or failure. A CBS News poll had Obama at a 46% approval rating.

American voters are split 45 – 45 percent on whether Barack Obama’s first year in office is a success or failure and split 35 – 37 percent on whether the U.S. would be better off if John McCain had won the 2008 election, according to a new Quinnipiac University poll released today. As he marks the first anniversary of his inauguration, President Obama’s approval has slipped slightly into an even 45 – 45 percent split for the first time.

At Breitbart.com, they states that Americans split on Obama first year. Obama has new lows in polls on how he is handling health care and economy.

Obama’s policies and efforts in his first year have already cost Democrats mightily in Virginia and New Jersey. Obamacare has almost single handedly allowed Republican Scott Brown to contend in Massachusetts in a state where Dems out number Republicans three to one.  In one year Obama will have nearly destroyed the Democrat party with his liberal and inept agenda. If the Mass Senate seat goes … it is not Haiti that needs to fear a tsunami.

He called the bank bonuses obscene…LOL

What is obscene is HIS SPENDING! He’s spent 100 fold what these banks bonuses.

Give me a break… Americans aren’t foolish. Well, the ones who voted for this clown are tho….

They know where the OBSCENE MONEY IS COMING FROM!

Let’s see, let’s tax the crap out of the companies that create jobs for the rest of us….UNREAL…

The no compromise President, and Democrats have destroyed our economy and foreign relations.
Obama has lied ! Our elected officials have Lied.

We need to VOTE the BUMS out of office! God Bless America…

Once again today I had breakfast with a pretty intelligent client and you should of heard how he boasted about obongo and how the economy has recovered so wonderfully ??? I had to ask if we where on the same planet. Long story short that is one client that will never be calling me back !!!

    7. Brenda in Virginia on January 14th, 2010 8:05 pm

Hey Scott, do not forget the many millions tossed at (thrown away to ) AIG. So much of OUR tax money went straight to India to pay for outsourcing of American jobs. So…WE paid for those overseas to work. How lovely. Also, AIG paid HUGE bonusus and I’ve yet to hear Obamanation discuss how obscene that is.

I work for a company who’s mgnt split from AIG about 6 yrs ago. If their mgmt skills is even 1/10th as bad as AIG, they should all have been put in jail long ago and their company allowed to fail. I would call letting the cards fall where they may/should paying the price for poor business practice…Obama instead calls it a need for stimulus.

#6 – I highly doubt you have any “clients”, other than maybe one’s you service behind the Circle K at midnight. Did you tell this alleged client about how you wished the President would be assassinated, like you told us here?

The Christmas bomber was apprehended, sitting in a cell, and there was no hurry. What needed to be resolved was that he’d gotten through security, which takes time to analyze the situation.

In Haiti there are people right now trapped and dying. I figure that calls for maybe just a wee bit of hurry-up, don’t you?

#7 – You do know AIG was bailed out by Republican George Bush, right? Apparently you don’t. Now you know.

President Obama 3/16/09: “Under these circumstances, it’s hard to understand how derivative traders at AIG warranted any bonuses, much less $165 million in extra pay. I mean, how do they justify this outrage to the taxpayers who are keeping the company afloat?”

Outrage over the AIG bonuses dominated the news in March 2009 – where were you? Nice try in pinning AIG on Obama though. Clueless.
      ________-
SM: Actually Yoyo, in a round about way Obama is to blame; however, not directly. The support of Fanny Mae and Freddie to bundle toxic loans and extort mortgage carrier to buy them in order to get other benefits was responsible for housing collapse.

Do you think Obama supported TARP? Hmm? If you remember way back then, the Obama Admin wanted the outgoing GWB to pass this BS so that there would be no delays when he took office.

Of course Congress (that would have been BHO) voted for this ridiculous bailout that made no provisions on bonuses. Sorry Yoyo but this this bill was voted on by Obama.

    12. rightknight on January 15th, 2010 2:12 am

The generosity of our Christian based nation is exceptionally
copious. Obowma would prefer to funnel all of our charity
and caring thru his White House gang in order to grab
personal credit for that charity. The guy is pure talk and
not very credible at that! His ‘Transparency’ could be the
basis for a new ‘I’ve Got A Secret’ TV show!

    13. JW Morgan on January 15th, 2010 2:28 am

Really ridiculous, that you and all of your followers, will continue to bash a President who is trying very hard to deal with everything that has been handed to him. He is helping with the crisis in Haiti right now. It would be great if you would support that effort. Unless, of course, if you believe that the Haitians deserved this tragedy that befell them. Like Pat Robertson. And if that is the case, then, I will pray for you. I will pray for you and all of your followers who pretend to be Christians and are not. Shame on those who agree with Robertson.
      ____________
SM: I guess you missed the previous post on this site that slammed Pat Robertson for his idiotic comment. Unlike you, however, we are consistent in our criticism and do not worship at the alter of Obama.

Rev. Pat Robertson on Cause of Haitian Earth Quake …Ancient Haitians made “Deal with the Devil”

      http://scaredmonkeys.com/2010/01/13/rev-pat-robertson-on-cause-of-haitian-earth-quake-ancient-haitians-made-deal-with-the-devil/

Who is not for helping the people of Haiti? We have donated to the relief fund, have you?

However, the question has to be answered, where was Obama when on Christmas Day an underwear bombing nearly killed 300 lives, including many Americans. It is nice that the US, the mean bastards that we are, help other nations in a time of crisis. However, the Presidents job is to protect and defend the US, not Haiti.

Give to the Haitian relief found and help this sad place, where up until this earthquake the media did not even know existed.

    14. J.Jay on January 15th, 2010 2:51 am

      #6: Yeah, right. Good one!
      Kiss that money goodbye.
How unprofessional is it to turn down a client because of his or her political views?
      Can you do anything objectively?

    15. super dave on January 15th, 2010 8:25 am

well, there’s at least three obama peasants that got their reparation checks this morning. yep, obama is doing so well that the economy is tanking, banks are still stealing money, and the master is still sending poeple to a war that he planned to end according to his camapign promise.
and his trasnparency promise has still not shown it’s face. i’d say he is showing an unprecedented
ignorance of how to run a country. i believe that is his favorite word to use when he pats himself on the back.

    16. Michelle on January 15th, 2010 10:31 am

Why is it every time a negative comment is made about Obama someone has to bring up Bush or even Reagan? What does that have to do with what’s happening right now under this current administration? If I remember correctly, Obama said he was not Bush. He said that he was going to end the war and bring our troops home. He said he was going to bring about Hope & Change. He said his administration would be bi-partisan & transparent.

      LIES and more LIES.

Then you have these trolls who keep trying to defend him by bringing up things that Bush did. This is not about Bush anymore, this is all on Obama now. How long are you Obama supporters going to keep blaming Bush?

Obama said that by passing the stimulus package that it would create more jobs. Didn’t happen.

How about the cash for clunkers? FAIL

Tax & Spend: That’s their motto

How many thousands of dollars were spent traveling to Copenhagen? and not to mention the carbon footprint. That was a complete disaster.

So far I’m not finding anything this administration has done that has made a positive impact on our economy.

There are still tons of foreclosures happening. Unemployment still rising. Bankruptcy are up.

How many of Congress eats from the value menu when they eat lunch or dinner? NONE of them

How many of Congress are working on their old cars to keep them running so they can get to work? NONE of them

How many of Congress got a raise? All of them

If you think that our government feels any of the pain that we are experiencing then you are a complete idiot. They do not care. They are not affected by this recession.

They will not be affected by the healthcare bill either. It’s not good enough for them but they want to force it on us. Hypocrites

I see a bunch of power hungry, money grabbing, tax evading, self-centered, anti-American a-holes.

    19. Brenda in Virginia on January 16th, 2010 8:36 am

      Dear confused YoYO,

My main point is this>>> AIG as ANY poorly run business should have been allowed to FAIL as any FREE ENTERPRISE that screws up. Not rewarded with tax payer dollars.

it astounds me that no one seems to realize that if one large company fails…the small ones eat up the business and thrive.

(Personally, I’m independent, not dem or repub.)

If you PEOPLE thought that My president could come in and fix this problem in one year that took the presidents years to screw up… then you need to click your heel and go somewhere…The man has to trial and error to get it right …no not all that he is doing I agree with, but he start somewhere and get a lan for the AMERICAN PEOPLE…going to other countries right now helping is not what we need to do, HELLO who can and bailed us out.
