Barack Obama’s Approval Ratings Fall to 58% … And So it Begins, Political Physics

A recent Gallup Poll shows that Barack Obama’s approval rating has slipped to 58%. This represents the lowest Gallup Daily tracking Poll approval rating for The One.

President Barack Obama’s job approval rating fell to 58% in Gallup Poll Daily tracking from June 16-18 — a new low for Obama in Gallup tracking, although not dissimilar to the 59% he has received on four other occasions.

The latest decline in Obama’s approval score, to 58%, results from a drop in approval among political independents as well as among Republicans. Democrats remain as highly supportive of the president as ever.

What can be taken from the poll? Those that voted for rose colored change who were Republicans and Independents are beginning to see the error of their ways. It is now obvious what Obama really is and the dangerous path he is taking the US. Barack Obama is about to take a class in political physics … all that is up, must come down.

Since February, Obama’s weekly approval ratings from Republicans have consistently averaged close to 30% and from independents, close to 60%. With Republican approval now down to 21% and independent approval down to 53%, Obama’s overall job approval has dipped to a new low for his presidency.

      Open Letter to Obama

The war in Afghanistan — the war that you pledged to fight and win — has become an aimless absurdity. It began with a specific target. Afghanistan was where Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda lived, harbored by the Islamic extremist Taliban government. But the enemy escaped into Pakistan,

Thousands of U.S. troops are being deployed to Helmand and Kandahar provinces. They will be fighting under the same limitations as the British, Canadian, Danish and Dutch forces currently holding the fort, which means they will be spinning their wheels. And that raises a long-term question crucial to the success of the Obama Administration: What are we doing in Afghanistan? What is the mission?

We know what the mission used to be — to kill or capture Osama bin Laden and destroy his al-Qaeda command. But once bin Laden slipped away, the mission morphed into a vast, messy nation — building effort to support the allegedly democratic Karzai government.

Afghanistan has never had a strong central government. It has been governed for thousands of years by local and regional tribal coalitions. The tribes have often been at one another’s throats — a good part of the current “Taliban” uprising is nothing more than standard tribal rivalries juiced by Western arms and opium profits — except when foreigners have invaded the area, in which case the Afghans have united and slowly humiliated conquerors from Alexander the Great to the Soviets.

      Are we next, Mr President?

A lot of fairly ridiculous conclusions from what looks to be a fairly routine fluctuation in approval. His ratings may be just about to plummet dramatically for all we know, but frankly you’re reading a lot into a rating that’s just 1% lower than the previous low point which was hit almost 5 months ago.

Obama’s approval is down to 54% on rasmussen. Republicans and indepedents are not supportive of the massive spending which does not yet appear to be doing anything. Unemployment has risen to almost 10% ( its worse in blue states) and is not expected to start improving until 2011.

The real move is the INDEPENDENTS who are the real reason he won the WH outside of practically buying it. They are moving SHARPLY away from him and his party. The INDEPENDENTS will bring back the Republicans; but conservatives need to wake up, stand up and start speaking your mind, it’s your GOD given and protected right!
