D-DAY … CT Dem Senator Chris Dodd OUT … Will Not Seek Reelection in 2010

Drip, Drip, Drip … More Rats Fleeing the S.S. Obama.

More carnage in the Democrat party for the upcoming 2010 midterm elections. Long time Nutmeg State Democrat Senator Chris Dodd is to announce Wednesday that he will not seek reelection in 2010. The mortgage scandal plagued Senator found himself in real trouble and behind in the polls for reelection.

ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!!!

A five term Democrat out as they had no chance of winning reelection! Another one bites the dust …

Embattled Connecticut Sen. Chris Dodd (D) has scheduled a press conference at his home in Connecticut Wednesday at which he is expected to announce he will not seek re-election, according to sources familiar with his plans.

Dodd’s retirement comes after months of speculation about his political future, and amid faltering polling numbers and a growing sense among the Democratic establishment that he could not win a sixth term. It also comes less than 24 hours after Sen. Byron Dorgan (D-N.D.) announced he would not seek re-election.

The Countrywide mortgage scandal made Dodd, the Senate Banking Committee Chairman almost impossible to reelect. In the midst of a banking and mortgage fiasco, we have Dodd getting sweatheart deals.    One has to wonder how viable a candidate is when they are behind in the polls to the wife of WWE owner, Linda McMahon. OUCH! Of course this is probably good news for Dems as Dodd did not have a chance in hell of winning. However, how much of Dodd’s corrupt sins will the new Democrat candidate have to overcome and pay for?

It truely is D-Day for Democrats or as Another Black Conservative calls it, “Dead Men Walking”.

My what a difference two years make, from 2008 where Dodd ran for the Democrat nomination for the presidency to out on his can in Connecticut.  It is a sign of the times for Democrats as they scurry out of office before facing humiliating defeats.

Add another one to the list of Democrats on their way out the door.

Now if only the “esteemed Senator” from my state of Pennsylvania, Benedict Arlen, that’s Arlen Spector for those of you without a sense of sarcasm, would announce that he wasn’t running again, maybe I could sleep at night.

This is the best news I’ve heard all day. Now if the rest will follow, that would be wonderful.

If their votes have helped to shove this country
toward Marxism, they will be rewarded with
positions elsewhere in the ‘Central Government’.

D-Day? Really? There is a great chance the Senate will stay just as it is, 60/40.

      Retiring Sen. seats only

      The Dems:
Burris(IL) seat is safely Dem, the Dodd(Conn) seat may be a good race but the Dem running in his place is well liked, Dorgan(ND) seat will go to a Republican, Kaufman(Del) seat is safe (afterall, its Delaware).

      results -1 59/41

      Now Reps:
Bond(MO) swing state up in the air, Brownback(KS) safe, Gregg(NH) could go to Dem, Florida seat could go to Dem as it has been rumored that Crist may switch parties, and Voinivich(OH) also a swing state so currently up in the air.

I see it as a wash, with the NH seat more than likely going to a Dem.

      So easily can stay 60/40.

YOYO: smokin the crack again i see. democrats suck ass. all of them. nothing but a white house full of gangstas. most of them tax evaders and of course the great whore pelosi.
if you were to have your muffin taken off, pelosi could provide more than enough skin for plastic surgery. that is if you don’t mind the color change.

LOL… tell us more ALL KNOWING YOYO… you’ve been so wrong on this board that you are known around here as a bumbling liberal puke.

Dodd’s seat will go to Linda McMahon.

As for Charlie Crist, he’s toast. Rubio has caught and in some polls passed Crist. This is why he’s fleeing ship because he knows he can’t win.

Everything is open on Nov. 4. I guarantee you the GOP will gain positions in both Houses of Congress from PA and probably OH too.

Just wait. You can’t explain away 30 liberal puke wipe Democrats retiring.

Aren’t you late for your welfare check?

these criminals are jumping ship because they know they have failed we the people. they are recognizing the democratic party for what it is. a criminal organization run by the main thug obama.
they realize that they have put the constitution and the lives of their loved ones at risk at the hands of a foriegn muslim. a weak link in the armor of America.

    8. Scott on January 8th, 2010 12:03 pm

Tell you what…i’ll put my pay check against you welfare check….

Wanna bet the Dems wont hold 59 or 60 seats after Nov?

The only way the GOP can screw it up IS if they don’t see the grand opportunity in front of them to possibly get 10 or 11 seats.

Delaware..hahah..Biden’s son has zippy chance he’s running against a republican who has won like 11 straight state elections.

      Get a clue moron!
