A question for President Barack Obama, how can any President who is sworn to protect the US send GITMO Yemen terrorists back to Yemen in the wake of what was learned from the Christmas Day terrorist underwear bomber?
The United States and the UK have announced that they are closing their embassies in Yemen due to al-Qaeda security concerns. In the wake of the Christmas Day underwear bomb attempt by 23 year old Umar Farouk AbdulMutallab who has been linked to an al Qaeda affiliate based in Yemen and the threat of possible violence in Yemen over continued al-Qaeda threats, the embassies were closed.
The United States and Britain announced Sunday they have closed their embassies in Yemen because of security concerns.
A U.S. news release cited ongoing threats by al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula to attack American interests in Yemen.
The U.S. announcement, which was made on the embassy’s Web site, did not say when the embassy would reopen.

In remarks Saturday, Obama pledged that everyone involved in the attack would be held accountable, and highlighted his administration’s attempts to crack down on extremist enclaves in Yemen. The president also reiterated his long-standing promise to “disrupt, dismantle and defeat” al Qaeda.
But wait, the United States closes it’s embassy in Yemen due to al-Qaeda threats but it is still OK for Obama to send GITMO detainees back to YEMEN!!!
This place is a hot bed for terrorism and we are sending terrorists back so that we will have to again deal with them in the future? UNREAL! How could any US President in good conscience and acting to protect the United States send known terrorists back to Yemen so that they can be retrained to attack us again? This administration wonders why people think it’s soft on terror.
There are mounting fears that Yemen is becoming a leading al-Qaeda haven. So why are we sending GITMO terrorists back to Yemen? Could we make it more easier for al-Qaeda? As John Brennan said on CNN this morning, “Some Guantanamo detainees will go to Yemen.” BRILLIANT OBAMA, BRILLIANT!!! Guess what Obamamessiah, your approval rating just went down again.
The United States still intends to send some Yemeni detainees at the Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, facility back to Yemen despite a terrorist threat there, President Barack Obama’s terrorism czar said Sunday.
John Brennan, the assistant to the president for homeland security and counter-terrorism, said on CNN’s “State of the Union” that the failed Christmas Day terror attack on a U.S. airliner doesn’t change the plan to close the Guantanamo facility.
How could a President and Administration be so obtuse? Is Obama really that clueless or does he just not care? The Astute Blogger asks or are they traitors or idiots. What say you Barack Hussein Obama?
Did Obama learn nothing from the Christmas Day underwear bomber?
Since Yemenis represent almost half of the roughly 200 remaining prisoners at Gitmo, new hurdles to their resettlement could spell more trouble for President Barack Obama’s plan to close the island prison while transferring a limited number of detainees to a prison in the U.S. Six Yemeni nationals were returned home earlier this month, and officials hoped more transfers would follow.
“Yesterday just highlights the fact that sending this many people back — or any people back — to Yemen right now is a really bad idea,” said Rep. Pete Hoekstra (R-Mich.), the ranking Republican on the House Intelligence Committee. “It’s just dumb. … If you made a list of what the three dumbest countries would be to send people back to, Yemen would be on all the lists.”
While Republicans have long been outspoken against plans to send more Guantanamo prisoners to Yemen, the Northwest Airlines incident seems to have persuaded at least one key Democrat that those plans should be reconsidered.
“In terms of sending more of them to return to Yemen, it would be a bit of a reach,” House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.) told POLITICO on Saturday. “I’d, at a minimum, say that whatever we were about to do we’d at least have to scrub it again from top to bottom.”
Barack Hussein Obama just had terrorism added to his list of things that he must face front and center in 2010. Obama must now admit there is a war on terror and it is real. Closing GITMO means nothing to terrorists in their efforts to kill Americans.
Oh wait, as reported at the Gateway Pundit, Obama Terror czar wants to give the “undie bomber” a deal to talk. Look what we are forced to do when we treat terrorist like criminals and cannot waterboard the SOB’s.

Yemenis may represent a big proportion of the released Gitmo prisoners, but the real threat to U.S. security is homegrown. Washington, D.C. is becoming home to some of the most extremist idealogues, such as Fuad Kamal, who runs a front organization named Anaara Media. Fuad Kamal is a member of the extremist Salafi mosque in the D.C. area which also recruited Major Hasan of the Fort Hood Massacre. Fuad Kamal has helped to orchestrate prior terrorist attacks and is a key figure in the recruitment of young Jihadists. He is very highly trained in explosives and munitions technology. Fuad Kamal is closely associated with Al Qaeda and its leaders. Fuad Kamal’s telephone number is (240)210-7118. He is extremely dangerous and may or may not be on the list of the 500 most dangerous Jihadists. The real threat to U.S. security is the homeland, which does nothing to stop the outrageous building of mosques, and, with it, the desire to destroy western culture, civilization, and people.
I agree that Jihadists are strategically locating in the Washington, D.C. area in order to implement future Jihads. Fuad Kamal of Anaara Media deliberately chose this location in order to expedite future homegrown terrorist attacks. Anaara Media is run by Fuad Kamal solely as a cover-up for his real objective, the recruitment and training of young Islamic militants. Fuad Kamal is also actively involved in collecting and channeling moneys to Al Qaeda. Fuad Kamal openly declares his hatred for the United States and western culture. He is determined, with his many associates, to promote the cause of radical Islam — the subjugation and eventual destruction of all infidels. He is one of the most dangerous Islamic extremists operating in the U.S.
I also know that this guy Fuad Kamal of Anaara Media is a Registered Sex Offender. He spent five years in a federal lock-up for his crimes and is now out on the street — unfortunately for the many children in Silver Spring, Maryland, where he lives. Fuad Kamal lures children with the offer of a free computer and offers them free lessons at his house! He is a Jihadist but his worst crime is his prior sex offenses against young children. He is dangerous, and is being monitored by his parole officer.
The same Fuad Kamal who runs Anaara Media has posted on a couple of radical forums that he will burn 10 Bibles on 9/11 to protest the U.S. minister who will burn a Koran on 9/11. Fuad Kamal has warned this U.S. minister online to stop the burning of the Koran if he values his life. Fuad Kamal is a terrifying man who will carry out his threats.
Fuad Kamal of Anaara Media has mutilated faces, hands and genitals of “infidels” at the command of Allah. Fuad Kamal is an extremist Muslim who is also a close friend of Major Hasan who killed 13 in the Fort Hood, Texas massacre. Fuad Kamal produces training videos showing young Jihadists how to decapitate and mutilate Americans and other infidels. Now living in Beltsville, Maryland, he attends the Silver Spring Mosque where he met Major Hasan.
If Anaara Media is run by Fuad Kamal, which it is, then it is a hub for international Jihadist recruitment. I personally know Fuad Kamal as I attended school with him in Illinois. He is a master of computer linking and is an extreme idealogue who hates the U.S. This guy is someone to be reckoned with!
