He Knew … Barack Obama Warned of Imminent Attack 3 Days Prior … Worked Like Clockwork

Mmm … mmm …. Barack Hussein Obama

Barack Obama knew there were terror threats against the US three days before Christmas …

Newsweek is reporting that President Barack Obama received a high level briefing regarding a possible holiday terrorist threat three days prior to Christmas. Newsweek? Why would a pro-Obama propanda rag like Newsweek be reporting this? Another

What, a terrorist threat against the US. Ok that’s great now tell me should I use my 9 iron or wedge to get out of this rough?

President Obama received a high-level briefing only three days before Christmas about possible holiday-period terrorist threats against the U.S., NEWSWEEK has learned. The briefing was centered on a written report, produced by U.S. intelligence agencies, titled “Key Homeland Threats,” a senior U.S. official says.

The administration official, who asked for anonymity when discussing sensitive information, says that nowhere in this document was there any mention of Yemen, whose affiliate of Al Qaeda is now believed to have been behind the Christmas Day attempt by Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab to bring down a transatlantic airliner with a bomb hidden in his underpants. …

As The Gateway Pundit opines, can you imagine if this was done under a Republican President? The press would have a field day if a Republican President was warned of a terror threat against the US, then went on vacation, had a terror threat occur and then continued to have pig roasts, golf, snorkeling and hula lessons.

If he was a Republican this would be the headline for the next 10 weeks… Obama was warned about the threats to the homeland in a Christmas briefing before he flew off to his golfing and snorkeling Hawaii holiday vacation.

What, no where in the entire report was Yemen mentioned in this leak? That sounds a bit suspicious and convenient doesn’t it.  Imagine that, a terrorist warning and no reference of Yemen leaked following a terrorist attempt originating from Yemen.  Looks like Hot Air is also very much skeptical of this as well.

None at all?  Hadn’t the administration just assisted Yemen in bombing a meeting in AQ that killed as many as 30 terrorist leaders?  Wouldn’t Obama have at least asked about Yemen as a potential threat?

And doesn’t this sound very, very familiar?

More from the Newsweek article:

According to the official, the holiday threat briefing—one in a series of regularly scheduled sessions with top counterterrorism officials—was held in the White House Situation Room on Dec. 22. Present were representatives of agencies involved in counterterrorism policy and operations, including Attorney General Eric Holder, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, and FBI Director Robert Mueller.

In a background briefing for reporters on Dec. 29, also attributed in an official White House transcript to a “senior administration official,” that official asserted that in the wake of the attempted underpants attack, it had become clear to the president and top advisers that before Christmas the U.S. government was in possession of “bits and pieces” of information, which, if they had been properly knitted together, “could have … allowed us to disrupt the attack or certainly to know much more about the alleged attacker in such a way as to ensure that he was on, as the president suggested in his statement, a no-fly list.”

Interesting that we were never told in any of the pressers following the Christmas Day underwear bomb attack that there was a heads up of a possible holiday attack against the US. Hmm.Just more folly added to the handling of this terrorist attempt.

As The Astute Blogger states, “So they knew an attack was likely, did nothing, and got the country from it was to originate wrong. But, according to an unnamed US intelligence official, “this was handled properly.” All things considered The One handled it like clockwork.

Since it happened under Obama and Napolitano, the
      word ‘Cluckwork’ is more appropriate!

You don’t expect a little thing like a looming terrorist attack to put a crimp in his vacation, do you?

If he learns how to play golf, perhaps he’ll
turn out to be good for something. Taking
responsibility for his actions is certainly not
      (H)is strong suit, however.

Didn’t the Dems accuse Bush of knowing about 9/11 ahead of time and rode that lie for the rest of his Presidency? Wonder if the same media outlets will be as “fair and honest” about Obama’s REAL lack of interest in the subject of terror?

I guess every single head of state received such a memo or briefing or whatever. Simply because everyone covers his ass and targetting this time of year is just logical. The rest is just getting you to buy magazines.

I’m quite happy that B.O doesn’t wag his tail for cuddling with you guys every chance he gets. It would be a waste of time anyway.

Odd – that was the exact same response Bill Clinton said every time the US was attacked under his mis-management of the country. Look what that got us.

      #5. J.Jay,

I can’t exactly understand your point. Could you elucidate please?

Who is covering whose ass? Obama’s cronies? Well, of course they would, and why are you complaining about it?

What is “logical” about “this time of the year,” and how does that tie into covering his ass? Other than wearing clothes to cover ones ass is logical this time of the year, I don’t get your point.

What magazine? Newsweek? Why would I buy something that I can get for free in the internet?

And as far as cuddling him, is he a dog in your opinion? I don’t see that analogy as being a positive one for our Commander in Chief.

#7: You think it is wise trying that?
Don’t. You don’t have what it takes.

#8 concerning #7. What are you one of those internet tuffies?

Maybe you could use your powers of perception and tell us why the UK banned this bomber and why Tiger, er, I mean Obama did nothing?

what else could we expect from a terrorist sympathizer like obama ?

      #8. J.Jay,

Trying what? I was only trying to get you to write a coherent sentence. How do you know I don’t have what it takes? What does it take to do what?

When all else fails, try ad hominem attacks.

or, when _all_ else fails, try picking a point you maybe well understood apart by numerous “naive” questions?
I’ve read Schopenhauer. Thx for trying anyway.

I am still at a loss to figure out your point. Is
“or, when _all_ else fails, try picking a point you maybe well understood apart by numerous “naive” questions?” one sentence?

Is English your first language? Or did you read Schopenhauer in German?

The fact that you bring up that you have Schopehauer gives me some clue as to why your own comments are so incomprehensible.

      we are all internet tuffies.
