America “can absorb another terrorist attack,” yes we can so says President Barack Hussein Obama.
That is correct, the very words from President Barack Hussein Obama from a sneak peak of the latest book “Obama’s Wars” from Bob Woodward on Obama. The Chosen One says that America can absorb another 9-11 like terrorist disaster. Mr. Obama, would not that be a man made overseas contingency operation attack?
Woodward’s book portrays Obama and the White House as barraged by warnings about the threat of terrorist attacks on U.S. soil and confronted with the difficulty in preventing them. During an interview with Woodward in July, the president said, “We can absorb a terrorist attack. We’ll do everything we can to prevent it, but even a 9/11, even the biggest attack ever . . . we absorbed it and we are stronger.”
Does any one remember what Presidential leadership is any more?
The book also points out Obama at odds with advisers on his Afghan exit strategy. As Roger Simon aptly calls the new book on Barack Hussein Obama, “All the President’s Creeps”.
Gen. David H. Petraeus, who was overall commander for the Middle East until becoming the Afghanistan commander this summer, told a senior aide that he disliked talking with David M. Axelrod, the president’s senior adviser, because he was “a complete spin doctor.” General Petraeus was effectively banned by the administration from the Sunday talk shows but worked private channels with Congress and the news media.
And the book recounts incidents in which Adm. Dennis C. Blair, then the national intelligence director, fought with Rahm Emanuel, the White House chief of staff, and John O. Brennan, the counterterrorism adviser.
During a daily intelligence briefing in May 2009, Mr. Blair warned the president that radicals with American and European passports were being trained in Pakistan to attack their homelands. Mr. Emanuel afterward chastised him, saying, “You’re just trying to put this on us so it’s not your fault.” Mr. Blair also skirmished with Mr. Brennan about a report on the failed airliner terrorist attack on Dec. 25. Mr. Obama later forced Mr. Blair out.
As stated at the Gateway Pundit, remember the days when we took the fight to the terrorist so we would not have to absorb another terrorist attack? Also, they have an interesting theory on Obama almost wishing for a big event that would define his Presidency and have GWB envy. Obama has shown how well he could handle a disaster in the BP oil spill, heaven help us all if we were ever attacked by terrorist again on his watch.

Obowma feels personally protected from any ‘attack’. He
rides around in an armored vehicle, is surrounded by
bodyguards, etc., insulated in every possible way. Perhaps
his tune would change if he and/or his family was as directly
vulnerable to terrorism as We the People find ourselves. It
is OK for ‘others’ to absorb attacks.
let him absorb another terrorist attack in his own house if he likes it so much.
Leadership? obama has been exposed as the emperor with no clothes….

We are currently in the process of absorbing a terrorist
attack on our Economic System and Freedom of our
Private Lives. Not unlike the 911 atrocity, the attack is
coming from within using our own assets. Fighting cancer
is done by treating the entire body in expectation that
the rotten stuff will be removed and the good stuff saved.
Ejecting the Radical Cancers will be painful, but must be
done to save the patient….that’s US!
Obama is abdicating responsiblility as Commander and Chief.
UNTIL . . . it comes to being called Mr. President and/or flying aboard Air Force One.
