Tea Party is Hardly a Passing Fad … Democrats & Republicans Beware

Newsflash to both parties … BEWARE OF THE TEA PARTY GO’ERS … You have been warned. The silent majority no more.

Democrats have called them names and tried to marginalize them while for years Republicans have flat out ignored them. Who you ask? Answer, The Tea Party Go’ers.

In a recent Rasmussen poll, a Tea Party candidate finished second among Democrats and Republicans. The Tea Party candidate picks up 23%, Democrats 36% and Republicans finish third at 18%. Another 22% are undecided. So much for the Tea Party be a fad, eh?

Talk about a voting faction that either party should want to attract. However, there is one thing that is different about this voting block, it can’t be bought off and it doesn’t tolerate lies and BS! This poll is yet another example that the Tea Party is not Republican made or owed. These people are not necessarily Republicans, they are in fact sick and tired of an over-reaching government who could care less about the people and more about their own power. The Tea Party is tired of the political lies, over spending, government take over, over taxing and politicians not doing the work of “We the People.”

Running under the Tea Party brand may be better in congressional races than being a Republican.

In a three-way Generic Ballot test, the latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds Democrats attracting 36% of the vote. The Tea Party candidate picks up 23%, and Republicans finish third at 18%. Another 22% are undecided.

Among voters not affiliated with either major party, the Tea Party comes out on top. Thirty-three percent (33%) prefer the Tea Party candidate, and 30% are undecided. Twenty-five percent (25%) would vote for a Democrat, and just 12% prefer the GOP.

Among Republican voters, 39% say they’d vote for the GOP candidate, but 33% favor the Tea Party option.

Republicans have a real chance to make major inroads into taking back the House and Senate if they embrace Tea Party Nation. Because the Tea Party go’ers are against so many things that exemplify the Democrats and liberals in Congress and Barack Obama, Dems would be hard pressed to attract enough of their vote to matter. However, honest, lower the deficit, less government Republicans have a great chance of getting this vote.

However, a word of warning to Republicans … you break your word and you will be held accountable. The Tea Party does not work for you, YOU WORK FOR THE TEA PARTY!

The “Tea Party” conservatives are all about truth and common sense in government at every level. They are going to elect a wide range of offices from town/city councils to both houses of congress. If I were a Democrat or a Republican I would be working hard to convence these people that I stood for true conservatism.
The real problem is crooked election officials who have a vested interest maintaining the status quo. The Tea Party movement will be forced to do some real hard investigating and planning in order to prevent rigged elections. Organizations like ACORN and all its affiliates as well as Unions and other such crooks will have to be stopped in their tracks.

As one who went to a first Tea Party and another later, I must say frustration is growing. We have the numbers and the better sense, the more decent and civilized activisum, facts are unquestionably on our side…for what? The terrorist Congress, this congress — the USA’s biggest enemy of all time — ignores us, even admit they ignore us.

As I told right here I wrote and spoke to my Representitive, a democrat. And, my little bit (tiny) of working on him, like the old lady p’ssing in the sea to influence its float, my Rep did vote against the bill. I, we all here, talk to people patiently, tirelessly, with the abundents of facts…in person, and on libral blogs. We have everything we need, it is that we go up against a criminal Congress. “Criminals” per this issue, as well as criminally influenced and activity at large.

And having donated twice to Republicans this year alone, I am annoyed at the lack of fight out of Republicans to save our country. They want the damage, so they can win an election.

I have no guess as to what happens next. Seriously. Not making any threats nor do I predict submission by the strength part, law abiding part, responsible part, fact holders of America. But surely a corner is at hand. Because Congress, republicans whimping along, is doing more damage to America than all its previous enemies. Violence could not win against them, but what then?

Not for long, TPN or TeaPartyNation.com organizers are hard lined GOP who use the proverbial veil of “conservatism” to attract supporters.

They also own and are having the National Tea Party Convention soon and are trying to put a face on it and disguise it as “our” convention. Not only that but they have decided to hold it at a ritzy over the top and outrageously expensive Opryland Hotel in Tennessee! When most of us are the working middle class and in the middle of economic hard times it’s just ridiculous!

This is where the grassroots tea party revolution will be hijacked by the old party line GOP. TPN is owned by an attorney and through his trained and careful wording( in my opinion) believes they have started the tea party movement, of course without saying as much or atleast he wants to be the man in the drivers seat so to speak.

They will attempt to consolidate all tea parties and be the ones in charge and leading the direction. If the other independent tea party groups give TPN any more importance, power or control of their direction then the true grass roots movement will die and have been for nothing. I would be very cautious about signing anything from TPN or just skip the convention all together.

Here’s how they answer questions to new members asking before deleting their accounts.

“Yes, can TPN please clarify their principals? I see the word “conservative principals” being used often and many broad generalizations. Can you please clarify the goal of TPN? Is the goal to revolutionize the system in a true diverse conservative grassroots takeover? Or do you plan to just get rid of the “RINO’s” and return to the “roots” and support towing the party line of the GOP?

Just a little concerned because those “roots” from both parties seem to get “uprooted” every few years and nothing ever changes. So can you please clarify your stance and be specific please? If you do not plan on reviving the hard nosed party line policies of the GOP, can you please explain what stances you’d approach differnetly and why? Thanks”

Sherry Phillips (owners wife) welcome to TPN, please click the FAQ page to read what TPN stands for.

Judson Phillips(owner) Welcome, please browse the comments and discussions and you will find your answer.

(me)Yes I have read the FAQ’s and read some discussions. I do not want to rely on the opinions of your members in informal discussions. I am looking for a straight forward honest answer from the leaders and organizers of TPN before I choose to get involved and active.

I am expecting an answer like a neighbor would give vs. a politician unable to give a simple answer. I think that’s fair, here are the questions your FAQ page raises for me. Can you please clarify? Your time is appreciate, thanks.

      What Is The TPN?

“Tea Party Nation is a group of like-minded individuals who believe in our God given Individual Freedoms written out by the Founding Fathers. We believe in Limited Government, Free Speech, the Second Amendment, our Military, Secure Borders and our Country!”

Saying that you believe in Limited Government, Free Speech, the Second Amendment, our Military, Secure Borders and our Country is certainly conservative, but is very broad as it is also not only conservative values but GOP values as well.

What Are The Goals of TPN?

“It is our hope that Tea Party Nation helps its members focus on ideas, solutions and actions to help one another in this fight against liberalism and the reach of an ever-expanding government who has ignored the will of “We the People” for far too long.”

Ok, I understand the fight against liberalism and the reach of an ever-expanding government that ignores the will of the people. Doesn’t this include the GOP equally the same as the left?

What Is The Plan Of TPN?

“We hope to provide the tools and communication necessary for organizing against a government who has stopped listening to the people who put them in office. We want to help our members take those who are unresponsive to “We the People” out of office and replace them with those who hold Conservative values.”

Again, many who hold “conservative values” are the GOP who are equally as guilty to being unresponsive to the will of the people.

TPN’s response: They banned my account. Nice.
