WHAT DO YOU MEAN OBAMA DID NOT WIN THE NOBEL PRIZE FOR ECONOMICS!!!
The Nobel Prize was awarded for economics and the winner was a shocker! The prize did not go to President Barack Hussein Obama. Americans Elinor Ostrom and 
Oliver Williamson won the Nobel Prize for economics for work on how community institutions can prevent conflict. What? We demand a recount! I mean come on, Barack Obama deserved to win the Nobel Prize for Economics just as much as he did for the Nobel Peace Prize.
How could Ostrom and Williamson beat The One? Barack Obama or at least Tim “Turbo Tax” Geithner should have won for the tremendous work that they have done with the $787 stimulus pork barrel package that has yet to create the jobs they claimed, the 9.8% US unemployment and federal deficits for as far as generations to come can see. What better economic policy could there be than to raise taxes and deficits in the teeth of a recession. Hey after all, “Cash for Clunkers” did make money for Asian auto makers.
Barack Obama was heard to say that he was surprised that he did not win the Nobel Prize for economics as he had spent 11 days in office as President putting the United States in debt up to it’s eyeballs and had thought about transforming the capitalist economy of the US to a socialist one for years. I thought the Nobel Prize rewarded socialism and weakening the United States. Maybe I should have weakened the US dollar some more? Obama was then heard to say … well there is always next year’s award.
Gasps came from the crowd as the Nobel Prize for economics was awarded to the two Americans. Oops, that’s right.The gasps came from the onlookers when an undeserving Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize. Obama already had his Economic prize winning speech ready:
“Let me be clear: I do not view it as a recognition of my own accomplishments, but rather as an affirmation of American leadership on behalf of aspirations held by people in all nations,” he said at the White House. “To be honest, I do not feel that I deserve to be in the company of so many of the transformative figures who’ve been honored by this prize.
Obama looks forward to the Major League Baseball, NBA and NFL’s MVP voting. And of course the Heisman.

Obama has done just as well in the field of economics as he has done at peace making.Remember he said we needed the stimulus package fast at once or the country could go down the tubes and look at us now we have jobs coming out or ears, can’t hire fast enough for those shovel ready jobs.Auto sales and big ticket items going thru the roof,home sales can’t keep up with them and factories will have to go three shifts just to keep up with the Christmas rush.I’m sorry,I must have been dreaming,it was like a Bobby Ewing thing going on and I belived this total mess of a White House didn’t really happen. Should have known things were going to be rough when Obama’s first real show of power was telling his old lady to plant a garden. Economics are his thing aren’t they, look, he hired Timmy and he learned with a little time to run Turbo Tax go figure.
Will Elinor Ostrom and Oliver Williamson both be at the awards in Norway? If Obama is there at the same time to receive his award (so deserved)he could bring Timmy along and they could show him how to run Turbo Tax and things could be much easier for him this year at tax time also Charlie could go over how he writes things off and what you really have to claim as income,they could give him a few pointers because he has a little different take on economics as they have, maybe they could learn from each other um um um .

CALIFORNIA´S GOVERNOR SIGNS LEGISLATION TO HELP TRACK AMMUNITION SALES

Sacramento, CA – Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger signed into law legislation that will help law enforcement officials track down and apprehend armed criminals and other prohibited persons. AB 962 by Assembly Member Kevin DeLeon (D-Los Angeles) had the support of law enforcement officials from across the state and was modeled after successful city ordinances, including the cities of Sacramento and Los Angeles. AB 962 was the Brady Campaign´s top priority bill in this year´s legislature.
The law requires maintenance of purchaser records by handgun ammunition vendors. Local law enforcement can use these records to find illegal guns.
“The purchase records will provide our police officers with yet another tool to track down and apprehend armed and dangerous criminals,” said Paul Helmke, President of the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence.
The new law also requires the safe storage of handgun ammunition in stores and that all handgun ammunition sales be completed in face-to-face transactions.(snip)

Nothing could better illustrate the complete bankruptcy of conservative philosophy to the average american than to watch the spectacle of right-wingers first cheering Chicago’s (or the US if you will) loss of the Olympics, then the following week completely losing their minds over the Nobel Peace Prize.
The right-wing has completed its metamorphosis from a principled, thoughtful conservative movement to a pure revanchist movement…which will literally say and do anything for short-term gain and power.

yah— gotta love how the Obamabots are staying away from blogs like this in droves. Only the trolls frequent to laugh at us and avoid the TRUTH. The Liberal Apologists who defend every blunder Obama makes aren’t up for this fight. They were still insisting that “we should wait to see how the stimulus does, maybe it will still work” as recently as last week. When the CBO released figures that popped that bubble of optimistic goo, the apologists suddenly found other things to do. And here’s another damning indictment of the screw-you-lus. We would have been better off doing nothing at all.
Remember, when selling the screw-you-lus, Obama’s henchmen claimed we can’t just do nothing. The world will end if we do nothing. So there’s either doing nothing, or spending a gazillion dollars we don’t even have on a phony stimulus bill. We better spend the money or we’ll all die horribly.
Guess what? The whole thing was a HUGE LIE. There were plenty of other options besides “do nothing” and “spend a zillion bucks on crap.” There was slash or repeal the capitol gains tax. Force mortgage lenders to return to sane lending laws, outlawing the lunatic practice of sub-prime mortgages. There was letting the automakers and greedy lenders who overextended themselves FAIL which is the fate they’d earned. There were other things as well.
So here we are, having chosen to take the second of Obama’s dishonest options. And we’re WORSE OFF than if we’d done nothing. Nice, huh?

Awarding the messiah the Nobel Peace Prize just goes to show that award has no meaning anymore and if they are using that to prop up Obama in the face of Bush then it just goes to show how ignorant and petty you and your loser liberal friends!
