Merriman arrested & charged with battery & false imprisonment of Tequila. Football and Tequila do not mix.
San Diego Charger LB Shawne Merriman finds himself in trouble again; however, this time it was not due to steroids. Merriman was arrested Sunday and charged with with battery and false imprisonment. Merriman is being accused of choking and restraining his TV reality star girlfriend
Deputies responded about 3:45 a.m. to Merriman’s house in Poway, north of San Diego, after a woman called to say she was choked by the player and thrown to the ground when she tried to leave, Sheriff’s Department spokesman Jan Caldwell said at a news conference.
Merriman, 25, was taken into custody and booked into the central jail at about 8:30 a.m. He was released shortly after 11 a.m. Caldwell said she didn’t know if he posted bail or was released on his own recognizance.
How messed up is this story … it reads like Abbot and Costello, Who’s on First. Was Tequila drinking Tequila?
Tequila was taken to a hospital. Her condition was not immediately available.Caldwell said deputies determined Tequila had been drinking.
Hey Merriman, you know when you should have run away from this like your hair was on fire? You should have ran at The bisexual dating TV reality show. Because none of this on Tequila’s part has anything to do with free PR for her reality show, right.

Tila Nyguen or whatever her real name is///is the perfect example of a media whore/glutton.
I never had the desire or stomach to view this person for more than 30 seconds in the media…she’s crude, disgusting….sensationalistic. Let the guy have his day in court. Not a hard stretch to see that his party-monster gf is dangerous when drunk, though. BTW, there are tapes and pics of her giving him lapdances in the club earlier in the evening when they were both out clubbing and having a good time.
Domestic violence is not something that should be bogusly alleged- so shame on her. And, pick a better gf for yourself, Mr. NFL Linebacker-so shame on you.
What will this Bring a reality show on Bad Boyz of the NFL ? Starring Tila.
The NFL has to pay some responsibility for all these criminal acts that have been highlighted within the NFL players ..in the last few yrs.
Most of the tragic events are of New NFL members. Not talking about OJ here.
One you pull a kid from College Ball and give them Millions to play 3rd string. Half of them are pushed through college and have the education of 7th grade. Bling Bling Ding -they Cant handle it. Mix up the cocktail of roids,power,women and money ..and what do you achieve? A young man that is propelled to Be Bigger than Life off the Field. They feel invincible. They are not.
These Reality show Unknowns made to be INFAMOUS that are thrown into stardom for having a personality defect, or boobs bigger than their face ..is another story. Tila’s case she can’t figure out who’s on first .. $$$ or real reality.
