Barack Obama Hits New Low … Only 46% Approval Rating in Rasmussen Daily Tracking Poll

Obama’s numbers continue to fall.

In the most recent Rasmussen Presidential Daily Tracking poll, President Obama’s total approval has slipped to an all-time low of 46%. While on vacation, it has got worse for The One. 53% of American voters now disapprove of Barack Obama. Coincidently, that was the amount that voted for him in the 2008 election.

41% Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -11.

This is hardly a right wing conspiracy that the White House or media would have you believe. It is a trend from many segments of the population that is snowballing.

Overall, 46% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President’s performance. That’s the lowest level of total approval yet measured for Obama. Fifty-three percent (53%) now disapprove. Eighty-one percent (81%) of Democrats approve while 83% of Republicans disapprove. As for those not affiliated with either major party, 66% disapprove.

I predict Bambam goes down below 40 by Dec. What with crap and trade, amnesty and covertly continuing his push for the North American Union, the sleeping giant is not only awake but will be getting pretty nasty from lack of sleep by then.
If I thought this was the end of the nightmare I would be excited, but this is just the beginning of the struggle.
The presidency is just a puppet post and until Americans realize this and understand we are being used by the elite banksters we will perpetually be fighting for our rights and the rights of others in the world.

I think Mr.President believes that we’ll all go away if he can just keep hiding…he’s taking yet another vacation tomorrow…what a HUGE embarrassment he has become. How on earth are we gonna get thru the next 3 years ???

This doesn’t surprise me but we must remain on guard against the radical agenda set by this administration. I just read that the President is addressing ALL school children in grades K-6 on September 8 and that the White House has released LESSON PLANS (?!?!?) for our teachers to use with this speech. This is unprecedented and we better speak up.

I do not have school age children anymore but if I did I would be calling the school board, the white house and keeping my kids out of school if it doesn’t change.

What can we do about this? This has not ever been done. Help!

Par for the course, the most disturbing is not the healthcare nor ignoring completely the unemployed but the lack of support he has given to our defenders, namely the intelligence agencies.

They have kept our country relatively safe and the methods utilized were not torture by any stretch of the imagination.

These are not innocent lambs that they have to contend with, but ruthless and more often than not mindless people whose only thought is our destruction.

President Obama would more than likely raise his popularity 20 points easly by rejecting any form of investigation of the CIA and other agencies protecting our national security.

It will of course dip later with his other programs and neglect but the shot of adrenalin will be felt.

#7 – John McCain was tortured. John McCain says the methods utilized were torture.

What experience/expertise do you have that trumps John McCain?

      Former U.S. Attorney General Alberto R. Gonzales(9/1/09):

“We worked very hard to establish ground rules and parameters about how to deal with terrorists. And if people go beyond that, I think it is legitimate to question and examine that conduct to ensure people are held accountable for their actions, even if it’s action in prosecuting the war on terror.”

Give the man a break. He is our El Presidente. Let me please add it again.

For charm and good looks —Negative 10

For use of the English language (stupidly) and choice of beer—Negative 10

For demonstration of thrift in office—Negative 20

For encouragement to the nation’s youth (special Olympics)—Negative 50

      For medical knowledge—Negative 50.

      For understanding in economics—Negative 100

For choice of Supreme Court justice—Negative 57

For attendance at mandatory meetings (not an early riser)—negative 50.

Well, okay, maybe a 26% approval rating is good. I was trying to be fair, and I came out much lower. Oh, silly me.

      #5 Tracy,

That is just the tip of the iceburg. The kids watch channel 1 every day first thing. My 16 yr old daughter asked me the other day if most people aren’t for nationalized healthcare. She said the reporting on channel 1 sure makes it look that way! I told her to look at the townhall meetings recorded on youtube and make her own judgement. I can correct the misinformation given to my kids, but what about the others? Seems like indoctrinating the young was one of the first things another facist government did before WWII.

#8 – More American soldiers have been water boarded as a means of familiarizing them with its affect, than the number of terrorists have been. And John McCain, to my knowledge, has NOT been water boarded, so he is no expert.

What McCain is is a democrat in Republican clothing.

      Now, go take another hit.

Obama WILL, after he loses after his first term, be remembered as the MOST HATED American President of all times.

I believe the whole attack against the CIA is borne of Nancy Pelosi’s rage over being caught in a lie. She and Harry Reid are with Obama 100%. They are covering up for each other. The deception we’re being inundated with is coming from an entire group not just one or a few. We have to be vigilant and constantly calling this government back to the constitution. If we don’t, we the American people will pay an awful price for our ignorance.

John McCain wanted votes from that group that cried(bogusly) “torture”".

Question is, what side is he on at this present time? Trump that.

    17. St Stephen on September 2nd, 2009 12:29 pm

hmmm….Maybe President Obama should select McCain for his VP in 2012…the shoe seems to fit here at least.

John McCain is not an expert on torture but “nurterer” is? How many years were you tortured nuturer? I just want to get a baseline in order to compare your experiences with that of John McCain.
Again, what experience/expertise do you have that trumps John McCain #16? I didn’t catch it.

No US Soldier is involuntarily waterboarded in training. None. No military is involuntarily held in solitary confinement for an indefinite period knowing that he or she is in fact considered any enemy of some kind. SERE is voluntary, for a definite period of time, and the service member knows that even though the discomfort is real and extremely challenging it will be over. It’s controlled and they can disenroll anytime they want.
But NO ONE in our military is waterboarded against their will.

Saying that waterboarding isn’t torture because our troops are waterboarded in SERE is exactly analogous to saying that rape isn’t criminal because some other women voluntarily have sex.

Let’s take it one step further.
What if we determined that dishonoring a female member of the “captives” family would break him, let’s say we had evidence from one of our outsourcing torture entreprenures – would the efficacy of extracting valuable information from the captive make the rape of his female family member any less criminal?
And remember rape would in fact meet the stringent requirements to the so called torture memo’s. That is, rape does not endanger life nor does it cause pain tantamount to organ failure or death.

      Well…………
