      :-) I missed that.

Clint Van Zandt made a point that I think needs repeating. Often. Pay attention to what’s going on. Something odd happening with a neighbor? One of your children’s friends getting bruised a lot? Too many people going in and out of a home at odd hours? Do they have dogs–especially pit bulls–with them? Does the child down the block seem to behave oddly and is never seen with other kids at the park? No one is advocating binoculars and peering into your neighbors’ windows, but be aware and follow up. Somehow. Someway.
