71% of Americans Voters Say that Barack “Hope & Change” Obama is Responsible For Out of Control and Record Deficits

Obama, the gig is up. 71% of American voter believe you and your policies are responsible Obama_DrunkenSailorsfor the out of control federal deficits. 5% of Obama truthers said that he lowered deficits, 10% said there was no impact, while 13% are too busy watching reality TV to understand the gravity of the situation and don’t know. As the Jawa Report calls the 5%, “they’re a very special kind of stupid and likely educated in the government-run school system.”

Seventy-one percent (71%) of U.S. voters say President Obama’s policies have increased the size of the federal deficit, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey.

Eighty percent (80%) of investors say Obama’s policies have driven up the deficit, a view shared by just 57% of non-investors.

What is more damaging to Obama is not the 88% of Republicans that know that “The One” is a tax and spend liberal socialist, it’s the 52% of Democrats that believe Obama has increased deficits and the all important 79% of Independents.

Not surprisingly, 88% of Republicans blame the president’s policies, compared to 52% of Democrats. But 79% of voters not affiliated with either party agree.

The United States has out of control federal deficits and Barack Obama looks to add to them by pushing this boondogle called Obamacare. Obama has already had a $787 billion stimulus plan and looks to pass socialized, single payer health care at the tune of over $1 trillion. However, Obama can no longer blame George W. Bush for the deficits, the American voters have put the blame squarely on Barack Obama.

Barry seems to be the kind of guy that would
consider pouring gasoline on a fire to extinguish
the flames. No reasonable person can justify
out of control borrowing to stem out of control
      debt.

Pass the salt for our wounds, thanks!

US debt was already massive under Bush, he let it spiral out of control.

      and then the meltdown hit

SM: Dolf, i don’t mind a differing point of view, but dude sometimes you just have to quit and stick to something that you know what you are talking about.

The deficits you are comparing from GWB to Obama is like a kid stealing $100 from the grocery store vs. a bank robber pulling off a million dollar heist.

PLEASE!!! You make any valid points you have in other areas almost unbelievable if you think that Obama and GWB are the same when it comes to the deficit.

Its like having a hole in the bottom of the boat started by GW, then Obama comes along and talks about change so people think that means patching the hole. Nope, instead he rips the hole open even wider so their in no chance to save the ship.

Do you know how man zero’s there are in a trillion?

No actualy Reagan made the hole in the boat, Bush did nothing, Clinton reduced the defict (a defict is not the debt, a defict makes the debt higher), then Bush came, gave a big taxcut, had the 9/11 attacks, went to war twice, had Katrina and had the financial meltdown..ergo he toke an axe and started chopping away at the bottom of the boat, Obama is now left with no real options instead of hoping to spend his way out of danger (the US way…spend till you drop).

As I see it the biggest difference between the deficts of Bush and Obama is that Bush choose to do it (taxcuts and war) and that Obama had to do it.

But I agree it doesnt get better

How much of the emergency Money has been spend anyway (read in a French paper that the French were so much more efficiënt with the allocation of those funds then the US…is this true or just the usual French snub?)

In Dutch a trillion is a billion ;p (translated)

The latest Fox News Poll has this:

Who do you think is more responsible for the current state of the economy –
Barack Obama or George W. Bush?
      61% Bush
      16% Obama

Who do you think is more responsible for the current size of the federal
budget deficit — Barack Obama or George W. Bush?
      53% Bush
      28% Obama

According to FOX NEWS, American voters have put the blame of the current economic woes squarely on George Bush.

    7. Incumbent Democratic NJ Governor Jon Corzine Down 13 Points to Republican Challenger Chris Christie … Republican Leads Gov Race in VA | Scared Monkeys on August 6th, 2009 10:36 pm

[...] Christie lead by 13 points in June, was down to 7 points in July and now back up to 13. How much can be attributed to the sudden unpopularity of Obamacare and Obama’s sliding poll numbers? And Americans blame Obama for the deficit. [...]

Dolf thinks that Reagan made the deficit what it is and Clinton fixed it. How did this happen? Clinton did it on the cuts in military spending which left us in bad shape to fight the war on terror following 911. Clinton was also the benificiary of quality governance from the House and Senate following the elections of 1994.
The sad part is that the Republicans failed to follow their successes in 1994 and 1995 and fell into the usual political trap of spending every dime and more of the peoples money.

#9 pay no attention to the DOLT….

Reagan oversaw the greatest non-wartime economic growth in the history of this country, created nearly 20 M jobs.

Dolt reads wikipedia so he thinks he knows everything but what he doesn’t know is wikipedia is not a reliable source of factual information as those pages can be easily manipulated to say what they want…..

Yep…9/11 and Katrina were Bush’s fault,RIIGHT? You probably think he has a hurricane machine like Farraken said right? LOL…. If you are looking for mutations, look in the mirror.

Ahh..yoyo..your numbers are skewed and have changed..
