Rasmussen Report Poll has Barack “The Chosen One” Obama Below 50% Approval Rating … How Will This Affect Obama Agenda?

How low can he go? Barack Obama for the first time since he became President of the United States has an approval rating below 50%. According to The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll (strongly approve – strongly disapprove), Obama has a -8 Presidential Approval Index rating. However, what is most startling and has to have captured the attention of the White House, Barack Obama’s total approval rating is at 49%.

Overall, 49% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President’s Obama_SS Obamaperformance. Today marks the first time his overall approval rating has ever fallen below 50% among Likely Voters nationwide. Fifty-one percent (51%) disapprove.

Eighty-three percent (83%) of Democrats continue to approve of the President’s performance while 80% of Republicans disapprove. Among those not affiliated with either major party, 37% offer a positive assessment. The President earns approval from 51% of women and 47% of men.

Americans wanted change, but they certainly did not want what Obama is serving up. Only 25% of voters believe the $787 billion has helped the economy. 53% of voters are against the House health care bill, The President also gets low scores on his handling of health care, the economy and the budget.

Also, only 31% feel that the United States is headed in the right direction, while 63% say the wrong track.. That is down 7% from just a month ago.

With Obama’s poll numbers dipping under 50%, what does that mean for his socialist agenda? What Blue Dog Democrat or anyone for that matter who wants to be reelected would support the Obama agenda that “We the People” do not support? Obama coattails?

There is no reason for any Republican or Blue Dog Democrat to support Obamacare, NONE!!! Not unless they they do not want to be reelected.

Where is the outrage? Hope and change? What happened to all those promises Obama made?
“I am going to end this war and bring our service people home”? Where are all those antiwar
protesters now? The news media has almost blocked out how many service personnel have been killed since Obama escalated the war in Afghanistan.
Forty-seven military people have been killed in combat so far in July. We will never know how many civilians have been killed.
Mr. Obama has sent 8,000 plus Marines to Afghanistan. The Associated Press reported that Defense Secretary Robert Gates announced July 20 that the size of the army will be increased temporarily by 22,000 soldiers to help meet the needs of the war in Iraq and Afghanistan and other missions around the world.
All that Hope and things are still the same!
SHAME on Obama what a SHAM.
Impeach Obama now and try him for war crimes.
MSNBC Chris Matthews has called OBAMA special. So its OK for him to lie? Tell that to the families who have lost loved ones in Obama’s new war.

Ah but while we might think there’s no reason for Blue Dogs to align with BHO, I’m sure Botox Nan has a few $$$$ million reasons and I’m absolutely certain that BHO and his band of Chicago thugs will roll out everything they have for this one. (After all, BHO doesn’t want his presidency ruined and that’s far more important than how often Granny gets euthanasia counseling or what language your next doctor will speak.)

Last time (energy tax bill) Nan handed out campaign contributions. Wonder how high the biding will go this time before we start hearing echos of “sold” across the House floor.

For some reason many of us still like to believe the Congress listens to the voters and that we can place a bit of fear in there hearts. Unfortunately, I think they are more afraid of Pelosi, BHO and Reid. Not only do they not read bills (and they are getting pretty open about admitting to that) but they also don’t listen to the very people they represent.

All the wonderful things that Obowma has
accomplished in his first 7 months on the
      job are absolutely UNBELIEVABLE, literally!

Just kidding! He has done many things that
are working as planned. None of the plans
that are working are good for the People,
however. The People are not working.
Let’s be patient; give Barry a chance, maybe
he’ll hit on something good by accident.

It’s about time someone sees that he is either corrupt or just an idiot.

      #2 Katablog,

There is one difference. No one follows or supports a loser. Obama knows that he has BS’d the American public and has 3 more years in office. Every House member has to face an election in 2010 and 1/3 of the Senators.

If Obama’s approval ratings were still in the high 50′s and 60′s, we would be looking at socialized medicine passed before the August recess.

The farther his approval rating goes down and his policies, the more people will run away and never compromise. No amount of $’s is worth the ire of the voter.

In six months Obama has managed to squander with one invincible popularity. Makes you wonder why the people ever voted for him. He really is not doing anything he said he was not. So, people did not vote for his policies or his socialism or his change. They voted for him because it was a social experiment to have the first black man elected President.

When will people ever learn. You do not vote for or against, hire for or against a persons color.

      R

      R:
Don’t believe for a moment that we are out of the woods. Rahm says the House will vote next week. Look for huge thuggery and arm twisting beyond anything we’ve seen before to take place. The more O and his thugs realize their time is limited, the harder they will push. You know Zero does not accept “no”; after all “he won”. I sort of think the next two weeks are going to be the biggest shock the American voters have ever experience.

Unfortunately I believe politicians have learned that people have short attention spans and will vote them back in regardless of what they do (Chris Dodd, John Murtha, William Jefferson are all examples).

Sherrill…I think those who voted for our prez were wanting someone to save us, a magic person of sorts and were just mentally challenged in the voting booth. Their minds are returning now.
