Michael Jackson – dies from cardiac arrest at age 50 – RIP

As first reported at TMZ.com, Michael Jackson, the self proclaimed King of Pop, has dies at the age of 50 from cardiac arrest. One of the most talented and troubled entertainers ever has passed. Michael Jackson was a flawed individual; however, a brilliant talent. He revolutionized dance of his generation and brought music video to a level never seen. Like many others, we pray he is in a better place.  Although tragically flawed with the allegations and suspicions of inappropriate relationships with children, one thing is for certain … for his generation when it came to singing, dance and showmanship … Michael Jackson was a THRILLER!!!

Michael suffered a cardiac arrest earlier this afternoon at his Holmby Hills home and paramedics were unable to revive him. We’re told when paramedics arrived Jackson had no pulse and they never got a pulse back.

A source tells us Jackson was dead when paramedics arrived. A cardiologist at UCLA tells TMZ Jackson died of cardiac arrest.

Goodbye Angel

Farrah Fawcett has sadly but mercifully passed away.

Rest in Peace Angel

Farrah Faucet

1970’s “It Girl” icon, Farah Fawcett has passed away after her long and brave battle with cancer. A piece of my childhood died today with Farah Fawcett’s passing. Farah got her fame as the blond haired beauty on Charlie’s Angels in the 1970’s. She was the sexy Angel. Recently, she became known to many in her later years for her determination to fight cancer and a symbol of the will to survive through her years-long battle with cancer,

“After a long and brave battle with cancer, our beloved Farrah has passed away,” Fawcett’s longtime romantic partner Ryan O’Neal said in a statement released by Fawcett’s publicist, Paul Bloch. “Although this is an extremely difficult time for her family and friends, we take comfort in the beautiful times that we shared with Farrah over the years and the knowledge that her life brought joy to so many people around the world.”

Farrah Fawcett’s ‘Burning Bed’ gave domestic abuse another face

Farah Fawcett died this morning at 9:28 a.m. PST on Thursday at St. John’s Heath Center in Santa Monica, CA at the age of 62.

“She’s gone. She now belongs to the ages,” O’Neal tells PEOPLE, also confirming that she received the last rites of the Catholic Church. “She’s now with her mother and sister and her God. I loved her with all my heart. I will miss her so very, very much. She was in and out of consciousness. I talked to her all through the night. I told her how very much I loved her. She’s in a better place now.”

A note from my childhood … Farah, thank you for the red swimsuit … Rest in Peace and God Bless.

Surinam Airways … Oops, Wanna Get Away … Smoke in Cabin from Flight from Miami to Aruba

Doesn’t this story instill confidence in visiting “One Happy Island”? Airplane cabin fills with smoke as 90 passengers, including two babies had to evacuate the airplane, after having landed at Reina Beatrix airport  in Aruba.

The airplane, a MD-80 charter of Falcon Airways Express with a capacity for 172 passengers, flew from Miami to Aruba, and landed at the Reina Beatrix airport at 17.45 hours. During, or after the landing, the pilot switched on the APU too early, probably causing a short circuit, and smoke entered the cabin through the air conditioning system. The APU-system, which supplies electricity at the moment that an airplane is not flying, may only be switched on, after a complete standstill of the airplane, says a spokesperson of the airport authority AAA.

SC Governor Mark Sanford Admits Affair with Argentinian Woman … From Missing to Wishing He was Missing … Appalachian, Argentina, Lost in Translation

BLAME IT ON RIO … OR IS IT ARGENTINA?

Mark Sanford, from Governor of South Carolina, to potential Presidential candidate to disgrace. At this point Sanford will be lucky to stay the Governor of SC after he admitted an affair with an Argentinian woman at a disastrous press conference yesterday. Maybe Sanford should have stayed in hiding after that debacle called a presser.

Really, Argentinia & Appalachian Trail are this close to each other.

Lost in translation … Who knew that a hike along the Appalachian Trail would translate to Argentinian Tale, or is it tail? One could have suspected that when the story came out of Sanford’s missing was a result of his hiking exploits, only to have his vehicle be found at the Atlanta airport, it was easy to suspect that something was amiss at the Circle K.

It is unbelievable that a man in Sanford’s position would act in such a selfish and reckless manner to his wife, his family and his state. Michelle Malkin aptly puts it … BASTARD!  Hot Air makes a good point on their lesson; however, I have to correct them on one detail. This does not pertain if you are a Democrat and your name is Bill Clinton.

The lesson: If you want to have a career in national politics, keep it in your pants. If you want to conduct affairs, stay out of politics. If you use your public office to lie to your constituents and your family, you deserve everything coming your way. No sniveling

One thing is for certain, Mark Sanford must go.

It has nothing to do with the affair per se, just like when President Bill Clinton was asked to resign. It’s not and never about the sex, that is between you, your wife, your family and your God. You must go because you were derelict in your duties as the Governor of the great state of South Carolina. Of course, the media will make it all about the sex and the affair as that is lazy journalism that sell. Sadly, this situation is about much more.
