Brilliant! Don’t Call Me Ma’am … Senator Barbara Boxer Meets Dr. Evil

This is a classic … From Michelle Malkin

Could you call me Senator? I’ve worked so hard to get this title.

Hey Babs, Dr. Evil wanted some respect too. It would appear that you two clowns are like peas in a pod. Let’s hope that this video shows up during Boxer’s Senate election campaign.

Here is the actual video of a childish Senator actually thinking that they have earned some type of respect as opposed to a military general.

How sad and clueless could an elected official really be? What is most comical is the ignorance that Babs showed in her disrespectful request of a Brigadier General. As stated at Wizbang, believe it or not Boxer actually asked to be called a title with the least respect.

So, what Senator Boxer actually said to BG Walsh is “please call me by the lowest requirement of respect.”

Well, Boxer said she worked hard to get that title, and I have to say I agree with the her.

UPDATE I: From Black Five, Barbara Box Just Does Not Get the Difference Between Addressing Someone as Sir or Ma’am.

Apparently, Barbara Boxer, a Senator from California where some of the biggest military bases exist, doesn’t understand respect when she hears it.

As a former Army Officer, if one of my soldiers called me “Lieutenant”, instead of “el-tee” or “Sir”, I would know that he found me lacking.  Calling me by my job title or rank is only done because it is the lowest requirement of respect.

Sen Barbara Baxter apparently does not want to be called with a title that the common people share.

ma’am IS a title of respect, to be sure, but to the good Senator from California, it is an insult to lump her in with the commoners that elected her.

It only shows the contempt she has not just for the military but the public in general. She is, of course, a senator, not a common person, we best not forget that.

My hats off to the General and I applaud his service to his country. I am quite sure that he addressed the male Senators as “Sir” and they did not flinch.

Senator Baxter needs to be elected – out of office – and replaced with a person, male or female, with respect for the ones that elected him or her. Shame on her utter and despicable contempt for the military AND public as well as her arrogance.

Sen Baxter, you are an , *ssclown, with all due respect, ma’am.

It was at the point that she demanded to be called senator that she lost the right to be called mam! She is a biotch and was way out of line.

I am embarrassed by a woman too uninformed to recognize respect being paid to her—and so arrogant as to demand it inappropriately and publically of a Brigadier General. You really “Boxed” yourself in on this one. Californians respect yourself enough to not reelect someone this shallow to represent you again!

The attitude shown by that to-me putrid Boxer thing is indicative of the elite-class attitude possessed by so many of our elites towards the common folk.

Convinced that the USA is in the throes of class warfare, the spewing of that loathsome Boxer creature does not surprise me.

Our elites are a greater threat to the common folks (96 percent of Americans) freedoms and prosperity that all foreign terrorists combined.

The Females as Property Movement demands that the daffy dame Boxer remove herself from politics and henceforth engage in activities suitable for an emotion-laden illogical irrational typical female… for the goof of society as well as for herself since the Boxer broad has proven her inability to operate adequately within adult society

Well, being from Arkansas, glad this person isn’t MY senator!

More accurately, the words “I’ve worked so hard for that title” should have read “So many people paid alot of money for that title”.

Thank you Brigadier General for your service.

I know Republicans understand the real issue here, stop pretending it’s something it’s not.

The title she prefers is not the issue because being senior and a civilian, it’s her right to be called senator rather than ma’am, a right she earned by getting Acorned and recounted into office.

The issue is that she called out a Brigadier General in front of the entire nation, let alone his juniors, to correct him for following military protocol and showing her the respect of a senior officer.

She should have called a recess if it were that important because it’s her own fault for not telling him ahead of time. A fault she should have taken personal responsibility for instead implying in front of everyone that he was in error.
