For years woman have wanted equality with men. Not so when it comes to sex offenders. Think about it, when a female sex offender have “relationships” with boys, male sex offender are “rapists”. Should not they both be considered the same? There is not only a double standard between men and women, there is a doubly standard between female sex offenders that are HOT or NOT.
Hot for Teacher night? So this is how we reward child sex offenders? So as long as it is a woman having sex with an under age boy, we find it okay in today’s society to market it as a school boy fantasy as long as we show the teacher to be a hot blond in a skirt and thigh high socks. Would it be considered okay if the teacher was not “hot”? Or, what would we think if it were a 29 year old man having sex with a 12 year old girl? What is the reaction when it’s a man, we cheer a mother beating a sex offender with a bat. Obviously there is a double standard when it comes to sex crimes.
Mary Kay Letourneau, the teacher who in became infamous in the 1990’s for having an affair with a sixth grade boy, Vili Fualaau, is now profiting from her fame. Actually the wedded couple are both profiting as both Mary Kay Letourneau, along with her now husband, Vili Fualaau, host “HOT FOR TEACHER” night at a Seatle, WA bar.
Bar owner Mike Morris said Mary Kay Letourneau has served her sentence and it’s OK for the couple to have some fun …
Saturday’s event at Fuel Sports Eats & Beats will be their third “Hot for Teacher” night, Morris said. She greets people and he DJs.
Does anyone really wonder why we see in the courts such lax penalties to sex crimes. Especially when the individual committing the statutory rape is a female. Mary Kay Letourneau was a 34 year old school teacher when she had an affair, sex and was convicted of the statutory rape of 13 year old Vili Fualaau. She gave birth to two children by him and later married him after serving several years in prison. Her numerous legal matters can be read here.
HOT FOR TEACHER is hardly an original idea. Coed Magazine did a “Hot for Teacher” article back in February 2008 listing the Top 18 Sexiest Sex Offenders. You will notice going through the list, there is not one male. Even worse, most the comments by individuals are as thoughtless and clueless as one would imagine, making it possible for this crime to continue.
So when you are Carrie McCandless, Janelle Marie Bird, Holly Hatcher, Debra Lafave, Angela Leavitt , Angela Renee Comer or Christine A. McCallum it is okay because it plays into a school boy fantasy even though these women have been entrusted with overseeing and educating children are sex offenders.
So we are now promoting the very idea and image that Mary Kay Letourneau was sentenced to prison for? Who knew “CHILD RAPE” could be so entertaining? Is there a bias to a female teacher who is a sex offender as to a male? By glamorizing female teacher-student sex is it any wonder why it continues on and on and on.

This article does a great job of pointing out the double standards. While their case is probably pretty rare, we often overlook the potential damage this does to young boys. All the while we are thinking that as the more sexually driven gender, these experiences are not damaging to them when they may very well be.
Thanks to Women’s Rights groups, this has
been handled very well.
#1 just because it might be some school boy fantasy, does not mean that the adult in charge is supposed to fulfill said fantasy.
These woman are sex offenders and child predators.

I agree with Red. Just because we are treated like we’re good little girls by being sexy doesn’t mean we have to lower ourselves to that standard. I think this is a crock. I wonder if she gets any tomatoes thrown at her. IMO, there is nothing sexy about an older woman taking advantage of a thirteen year old boy. It’s not cute or sexy… it’s nasty.
I guess the hoe found a pimp! She probably gets her balls off by exposing herself… Sad that she would sell herself to that market. She should be in jail with her baby pimpin’ ass!
