Did convicted and wanted British pedophile make comments to individuals that implicated him in the disappearance of Madeleine “Maddie” McCann?
64 year old Raymond Hewlett, a convicted British pedophile who has been responsible for numerous sex attacks against young girls during the past 40 years was once considered a prime suspect in the case of missing, then 3 year old Madeleine McCann. Hewlett was reported to be living about one hours away from the resort of Praia da Luz, in Portugal where Maddie McCain went missing in April of 2007. Hewlett was staying with his family in a motor home an hour’s drive from the McCanns’ apartment in Praia da Luz

New information may have the convicted sex offender once again linked to the disappearance of Madelein McCann.
The new information is thought to have emerged after Madeleine’s parents, Kate and Gerry McCann, made a string of international media appearances to issue a fresh appeal for information on the second anniversary of her disappearance.
New material released included a computer-aided image of what she may look like now, aged six, while another was a sketch of a suspect seen near the holiday complex.

The Daily Mail is reporting that British authorities are looking to extradite convicted pedophile Raymond Hewlett from Germany where he is being treated for throat cancer. Raymond Hewlett has a long record of sex attacks on young girls and is wanted by police in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Did Hewlett make comments to friends that implicated him in the disappearance of Maddie McCann?
Sources close to the investigation claimed they were told he spoke to friends about Maddie in such a way that they suspected he was involved or knew what had happened to the three-year-old.
The 64-year-old suspect is reported to have stayed near the Portuguese resort of Praia da Luz, where the British toddler disappeared without trace while on holiday with her family.
The man has had three previous convictions for offenses involving young girls. In British newspaper The Daily Mirror he denies having anything to do with the case and says he was 50 kilometres away on the day Madeleine went missing.
