What and when Speaker San Fran Nan knew that waterboarding was used as a form of harsh interrogation has turned into a full scale game of Chicken with the CIA.
The latest from the lips of Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is that she is accusing intelligence officials of giving her “inaccurate and incomplete information” on the use of waterboarding and other harsh interrogation tactics by the Bush administration.

In her first public comments on the matter since an intelligence report contradicted her recollections, Pelosi, D-Calif., told reporters today that she was never told about the fact that waterboarding had been used on a terrorist suspect, even though terrorist suspect Abu Zubaydah had been waterboarded a month before she was briefed on the subject in Sept. 2002.
“The only mention of waterboarding at that briefing was that it was not being employed,” Pelosi said, reading from a prepared statement. “Those briefing me in Sept. 2002 gave me inaccurate and incomplete information.”
Is Nancy Pelosi really going to pit her word against that of the CIA? Will it be as Jules Crittenden speculates, is Pelosi hedging her bet that the CIA will remain quiet, keeping its agents out of the limelight. Pelosi has told so many fabrications regarding this story that she is pot committed with no way out with a Jack high, unsuited. Does Pelosi really want to add more chips to the pot on a bluff when even MSNBC does not believe her?

They — we later find out that it had been taking place before they even briefed us about the legal opinions and told us that they were not being used. …
QUESTION: Madam Speaker, just to be clear, you’re accusing the CIA of lying to you in September of 2002?
PELOSI: Yes, misleading the Congress of the United States, misleading the Congress of the United States. I am.

I have a question from San Fran Nan on my blog. If she (we are just pretending right now) was briefed in Sept. 2002 only about waterboarding being a future technique that the CIA said was legal – why the heck didn’t Ms. Principled Speaker of the House stand up and object before this technique was used? If you believe waterboarding is wrong, why would you not try to prevent its use before it happens?
Of course in reality we know that every time San Fran Nan opens her mouth, she’s lying. Unfortunately, liberals get away with lying and defaming others all the time.
the only thing that can go wrong with replacing pelosi is that the same damn people who elected pelosi will be electing her replacement. and they’ll be taking their cue from obama. how’s that for going jumping from the skillet into the fire.

Tooooooo bad we can’t put a label on some of these people like the FDA wants to do with Cheerios, because they are misleading. Can imagine all the warning stickers stamped on their heads, so many in govt.
