Obama promised change, you voted for change … YOU GOT CHANGE!
Never was the the following saying more true, don’t ask for things as they might just come true. Just because you may have voted for change, does not necessarily mean that Obama would offer the change that you envisioned. Bail outs, government take over of corporations, $ trillion budgets and government spending creating deficits as far as the eye can see. Was it Socialism that you really wanted as a change?
Makes one wonder why this administration wanted a photo-op of Air Force One with Lady Liberty when they seem to have little regard for her.

The master Illusionist & Chief, through slight of hand, a willing media as his assistant and “We the People” asleep at the wheel watching this slight of hand has managed in a little over 100 days to turn America and Lady Liberty upside down.
Suddenly in a new “changed” America we find that our enemies who want to destroy us are suddenly our friends. The enemy is no longer the actual people who hate America and who have vowed to bring Lady Liberty to her knees, but instead according to folks in this White House the enemy is very people, the military, who defend this countries rights, way of life and security.
We have a White House who has such lack of judgment and common sense that they would allow a 747 to fly low over Manhattan, NY conjuring up images and thoughts of September 11, 2001. They act as if it never happened and what would the big deal be in flying a plane over a city for a photo-op. Then shortly after the flyover fiasco, Barack Obama sits and laughs at a White Correspondents Dinner when jokes pertaining to 9–11 are made.

True story:
A friend of mine was in the drive-thru of a fast food joint here in town and after waiting patiently for a while finally made it to the pickup window, her order was wrong and she pointed it out to the girl at the window who in return stated that “soon honey you will be working here instead of me because Obama is going to pay my mortgage and buy my gas and I will not have to work.”
This is not a joke, people really believe this crap. This was shortly after Obama won the election. Wonder if she still feels that way?
What does that tell you about our society? Too many people think the government should take care of them.

Hope wanted to talk about “independence” in a previous thread. As I thought about it, I realized that maybe she doesn’t think of “freedom” and “independence” as be synonymous. Perhaps her idea of “independence” is something like the McDonald’s worker discussed in #5.
But for those who do see “freedom” and “independence” as synonymous, here’s yet another erosion: U.S. Eyes Bank Pay Overhaul. Note the faulty headline since it’s not the US that eyes the banks, but rather the hope n change O government. Think about it, if you control the financial system, you control the country.

Independence is synonymous with Freedom. However, a country can be independent and, still, not be free. Case in point, China. I was talking about being independent of oil companies and OPEC… my love for freedom speaks loudly for itself everyday as I exercise my freedom to share my opinion with you. It may not be the opinion that you want me to have… but it’s my contribution written from my, personal, experience in an attempt to help.

President Obama may meet some serious resistance with the National Council for a New America before we allow this great train to derail completely.
I choose the grassroots path for the Republican resurgence as a viable, doable and preferable method. Never to late, or too early, to get the people informed of their options for 2010 and 2012.

I have shared the whole conversation as told to me and nobody was pulling anybody’s strings, that is the attitude I’ve been seeing since the election, not just at this one particular place but in other situations as well. You may not want to hear it or accept it but that is the attitude of some people that voted for Obama. They are too stupid to know they were lied to.
