Obama’s New Pals Dictators of Bolivia, Cuba, Dominica, Honduras, Nicaragua and Venezuela State Capitalism ‘threatens life on the planet’

Obama embracing those that think capitalism ‘threatens life on the planet.’

It would appear that Barack Obama’s newest, bestest friends (South American dictators from Bolivia, Cuba, Dominica, Honduras, Nicaragua and Venezuela) from the 5th Summit of the Americas all think capitalism is the ruination of the planet and mankind. The very people that Obama just recently embraced, shook their hands, fist bumped, accepted anti-capitalism books from and coddled all think that “capitalism” is the evil SATAN.

Think Obama taking pictures with socialist dictators isn’t dangerous?

“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.” (United States Presidential oath)

The Declaration does not provide answers to the Global Economic Crisis, even though this crisis constitutes the greatest challenge faced by humanity in the last decades and is the most serious threat of the current times to the welfare of our peoples.

1. Capitalism is leading humanity and the planet to extinction. What we are experiencing is a global economic crisis of a systemic and structural nature, not another cyclic crisis. Those who think that with a taxpayer money injection and some regulatory measures this crisis will end are wrong. The financial system is in crisis because it trades bonds with six times the real value of the assets and services produced and rendered in the world, this is not a “system regulation failure”, but a integrating part of the capitalist system that speculates with all assets and values with a view to obtain the maximum profit possible. Until now, the economic crisis has generated over 100 million additional hungry persons and has slashed over 50 million jobs, and these figures show an upward trend.

2. Capitalism has caused the environmental crisis, by submitting the necessary conditions for life in the planet, to the predominance of market and profit. Each year we consume one third more of what the planet is able to regenerate. With this squandering binge of the capitalist system, we are going to need two planets Earth by the year 2030.

58% Say Obama’s Release of CIA Memos Endangers National Security

The Presidential oath of office::

“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

According to a recent Rasmussen poll, 58% of Americans say that President Barack Obama’s release of of CIA memos about the harsh interrogation methods endangers National Security. 28% say no and 14% are clueless.

Fifty-eight percent (58%) believe the Obama administration’s recent release of CIA memos about the harsh interrogation methods used on terrorism suspects endangers the national security of the United States. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that 28% believe the release of the memos helps America’s image abroad.

But then again, Barack Obama does not want to use the phrase, a war on terror.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi Sounding Like Bill Clinton … I Did Not Have Knowledge of Waterboarding, Not A Single Time

Speaker Pelosi, Me thinks thou dost protest too much … And you are fabricating having knowledge of waterbaording.

Nancy Pelosi was for knowing about waterboarding before she was against it.

Nancy Pelosi states that she was never advised about waterboarding. Really? What about the 30 meetings and briefings with members of Congress on the subject since 2002 regarding enhanced interrogation techniques? If Democrats were ok with it back then, why now do they have such a problem with waterboarding and want to prosecuting Bush-era lawyers for justifying “enhanced” interrogation techniques? Party politics as usual and more change. Nancy Pelosi is either lying, ignorant, naive or just was not paying attention. Any one of the reasons makes her hardly fit to be Speaker.

The first such briefing dealt with the interrogation of Abu Zubaydah, the Al Qaeda operations chief who ran the training camps in Afghanistan where the Sept. 11 hijackers were trained. Sources said California Rep. Nancy Pelosi, now the speaker of the House, attended the meeting with then-Rep. Porter Goss, R-Fla. (who later became CIA director), and she did not raise any objections.

The briefings were given to the chairmen and ranking members of the intelligence committees in the House and Senate until 2006. That could cover Sen. John Rockefeller, W.Va., and Rep. Jane Harman, Calif., both Democrats, as well as Sen. Pat Roberts, Kan., Sen. Lindsey Graham, S.C., Sen. Richard Shelby, Ala., and Rep. Pete Hoekstra, Mich., all Republicans.

Notice the Pelosi finger wagging denial, reminds us a bit of another’s denial that would later be proved to be a lie.

As far back as 2002 Nancy Pelosi was was told about enhanced interrogation techniques in graphic detail. From The Washington Post:

In September 2002, four members of Congress met in secret for a first look at a unique CIA program designed to wring vital information from reticent terrorism suspects in U.S. custody. For more than an hour, the bipartisan group, which included current House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), was given a virtual tour of the CIA’s overseas detention sites and the harsh techniques interrogators had devised to try to make their prisoners talk.

Among the techniques described, said two officials present, was waterboarding, a practice that years later would be condemned as torture by Democrats and some Republicans on Capitol Hill. But on that day, no objections were raised. Instead, at least two lawmakers in the room asked the CIA to push harder, two U.S. officials said.

“The briefer was specifically asked if the methods were tough enough,” said a U.S. official who witnessed the exchange.

Former President Bill Clinton’s finger pointing denial of “not having sex with that woman” looks a bit like Speaker Pelosi’s denial.

According to US Representative Peter Hoekstra, it appears that either as US Rep or Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi knew about waterbaording and its techniques.
