In a clear indication Chavez sought to leverage his brief encounter with Obama at the opening ceremonies of the fifth Summit of the Americas here, Chavez’s government Web site almost immediately posted a photo of the two leaders and a government-approved commentary in Spanish that read as follows:

Here is change you can believe in. A couple weeks back, Venezuelan Communist Dictator Chavez called Obama an idiot and an ignoramus … now he says, “I’d like to be your friend.” . So this is how we treat sworn enemies of the United States, this is a National disgrace.

So the brave men and woman of our United States Armed Forces who put and have put their lives on the line to protect the rights of US citizens and secure out safety are looked upon by Janet Napolitano & the Obama Administration as terrorist. So we finally now know just how much they really do think of the military.

Say, isn’t this profiling? I guess it is OK to profile “right wing” extremists but not criminals, illegals and actual terrorists.

Napolitano’s recent attempt to characterize/stereotype our returning
military as potential terrorists, and extremists is beyond ignorant.
She reports that ‘potential’ gun restrictions (confiscation?) combined
with jobs issues (illegals) could foster violent vets. Gun confiscation by our
government will foster extreme resistance from every citizen who
takes our US Constitution seriously. Janet is a graduate of New Mexico

Ok, the Barack Obama may not be socialism after all … after reading HLS Secretary Janet Napolitano’s report, it might just be Fascism. Wasn’t it the Obama Administration who got rid of the phrase, “war of terror?” Now it appears that Obama HLS Secretary cannot determine who is the greater threat, Al Qaeda or Right Wing terrorist.

Obama Administration playing politics with free speech. It is a right of every American to voice their opinion with Free Speech and protest their government in a respectful manner. It is not just a right, it is an obligation.

Opposition speech is not hate speech … it’s Free Speech and a government is not supposed to repress it. Exactly what the Obama Admin is going is what the LEFT claimed GWB was doing for years. So why is it different now?

Now Janet Napolitano apologizes to military veterans after she read, reviewed and signed off on the HLS report and approved of its language.  Napolitano already let the Genie out of the bottle. She had more than enough time to take out this “hate speech”.  Apology, not accepted.

In the report, right-wing extremism was defined as hate-motivated groups and movements, such as hatred of certain religions, racial or ethnic groups. “It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration,” the report said.

“If there’s one part of that report I would rewrite, in the word-smithing, Washington-ese that goes on after the fact, it would be that footnote,” Napolitano said Thursday on Fox News.

Obama & WH Ask Georgetown University to Cover Christ Symbols Before Speech

Prior to a speech at Georgetown University, President Obama and the White House asked the university to take down of all things, Jesus. The White House asked Georgetown to cover a monogram symbolizing Jesus’ name in Gaston Hall. A rather fitting metaphor for Barack Obama.

Julie Bataille from the university’s press office e-mailed me that the White House had asked that all university signage and symbols behind the stage in Gaston Hall be covered.

“The White House wanted a simple backdrop of flags and pipe and drape for the speech, consistent with what they’ve done for other policy speeches,” she wrote. “Frankly, the pipe and drape wasn’t high enough by itself to fully cover the IHS and cross above the GU seal and it seemed most respectful to have them covered so as not to be seen out of context.”

The first question one would ask is, did he do this in the past while visiting other religious institutions? Of course the answer is no and Flopping Aces has the scoop. It would appear when Obama visited the Blue Mosque in Turkey, he did so without a similar request.
