Russia Says … Iran Poses No Threat to the United States

This just might be the most ignoant comment of the week … Russia says that the Iran poses no threat to the US; therefore it must be true.  Sergei Kislyak, the Russian ambassador to the United States, said that the Iran threat was a myth. As Barack Obama reviews the missile shield project, we get these outlandish comments from comrade Kislyak. Iran is no threat to America. If you believe that then we have a bridge to sell you as well. While we are taking a look at threats, Obama might just want to keep an eye on China and Russia as well? Hmm? But we all know from President Obama, that there is no more war on terror.

Iran poses no threat to the United States, Russia said Tuesday, rebuffing a key argument of President Barack Obama on whether to go ahead with a European missile shield bitterly opposed by Moscow. Former president George W. Bush had infuriated Russia by striking a deal to install 10 missile interceptors in Poland and related radar stations in the Czech Republic, saying they were needed to counter “rogue states” such as Iran. The Obama administration says it is reviewing the shield project, studying whether it is militarily justified and cost effective. But Sergei Kislyak, the Russian ambassador to the United States, said that the Iran threat was a myth. “I don’t see any threat to the United States coming from Iran anytime soon,” Kislyak told a conference of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.

Obama Visits Troops in Iraq … “You have given Iraq the opportunity to Be a Democracy”, Even though Obama Opposed It

I was against the Iran Democracy before I was for it …

There is never a time, whether I voted or supported a president’s policies, that I would ever discourage any President from visiting US military troops. As a matter of fact, it should be a prerequisite that President visit our military at least 3 times a month to show thanks for what our brave men and women do for us and protect us every day. The full text of President Obama’s speech can be read here .

Ok all things previous said regarding Presidents visiting the troops to thank them, how exactly does Obama say the following with a straight face? This coming from the man who opposed the war and opposed the surge. A man who consistently said along with his part that the war in Iraq was a failure. In other words, had Obama been elected President in 2000, Iraq would still be under the rule of dictator Saddam, free elections would not have taken place and Iraq would not have been in the position to be a Democracy. This is head scratching.

Under enormous strain and under enormous sacrifice, through controversy and difficulty and politics, you’ve kept your eyes focused on just doing your job.  And because of that, every mission that’s been assigned — from getting rid of Saddam, to reducing violence, to stabilizing the country, to facilitating elections — you have given Iraq the opportunity to stand on its own as a democratic country.  That is an extraordinary achievement, and for that you have the thanks of the American people.  (Applause.)  That’s point number one.

Angela Harrison Says that Husband James Harrison shot Their 5 Children to Punish Her … Punish her for What?

Once again innocent children pay for the sins of adults … Who’s looking out after the children?

Angela Harrison, the mother of the 5 murdered children at the hands of their father, Child_abuseJames Harrison, stated that she was not having an affair but believed that her husband did this in order to punish her.  One would ask the obvious question then, punish her for what? If it was not an affair or something, why would she feel that her husband was trying to punish her? The sad reality is that if this was an abusive relationship, she should have left and taken her children out of harms way.

The mother of five children killed in the family’s mobile home denied that she was having an affair Monday, but said she believes her husband killed her kids to punish her.

Angela Harrison told Seattle television station KCPQ that she tried many times to leave her 34-year-old husband and he tried to control her for years.

Pierce County sheriff’s officers said the woman had told her husband she was leaving him for another man.

Sadly, innocent children pay for the sins of their parents. James Harrison killed his five children this past weekend at their home at the Seer Run mobile home park in Washington state and then later took his own life. It was suspected at the time in comments made in a previous post that James Harrison did such a heinous act to target his wife in taking things that she loved away.

At this point of this tragic story it probably does not matter what the situation was regarding the woman’s affair or whether she had planned to go back home and get her children. It is too late. It is just another case of an abusive relationship where one spouse refuses to get the backbone and leave
