Casey Anthony Guilty of a Crime (Murdering Caylee) She Did not Commit Says Baez … Sam Sheppard … Richard Kimble …The Fugitive & a One Armed Man (Nanny)

Baez … is this the best you got? Is Jose Baez looking to defend a client or just make a name for himself? Baez … you are no F. Lee Bailey.

Wait there is a news break from the Casey Anthony defense team … Jose Baez and his band of Defense experts are looking for a “one armed nanny” ala Sam Sheppard, Richard Kimble and The Fugitive. Could the comments from defense attorney Jose Baez get any more insane? Could they possible make more of a reach? Baez should be ashamed of the mockery he has perpetrated in this case called a defense of a client. Surrounding himself with people of less than questionable character and making ignorant comments comparing Casey Anthony to Richard Kimble of Fugitive fame … the sad circus continues.

Casey_one_armed_man

Sometimes the One Armed Strangers that we seek are right their in the mirror. (H/T Klaas)

However, in many cases the circus is not caused by the media, but by Jose Baez himself. Maybe Baez could explain to all that have followed this case why his client has not let Caylee Anthony be properly and respectfully buried? I hardly think that Sam Sheppard or Richard Kimble would have prevented their murdered wife from having the dignity of a burial.

One thing is for certain, it should never be forgotten by anyone who the Casey Anthony defense team was an the mockery of justice they have tried to perpetrate on the American public. Defending one’s client from getting a needle is one thing, out right lying and throwing BS against the wall is quite something different. These defense experts signed on to this case for the PR, and when it all goes down in flames … they should receive all the negative PR they deserve.

The next thing we know the Baez defense team will be describing Zenaida Gonzalez as a “bushy-haired” nanny. It would appear that the Casey Anthony defense team and Linda Kenney Baden in particular must have been staying up all night in their hotel room watching cable TV grasping at any movie or show that came on as a means of defending their client. However, it appears that Baden has not completely thought out her one armed defense as she has no specifics to offer when she appeared on the Today Show.

“Who’s the one-armed man?” Vieira asked.

We can’t discuss specifically what our defense will be,” Baden replied. “We just ask everyone now to wait. She has the presumption of innocence, and we’ll see when we get to the trial what our strategy is. Everyone has to wait. You have to stop saying somebody is guilty, you have to stop saying people are bad. Stop the personal attacks. At the trial, you will find out.”

The insanity of the one armed “Manny” defense:

Casey Anthony’s attorneys on Friday compared her case to the 1960s TV show and movie “The Fugitive,” and said she cannot get a fair trial in Orlando because “it’s an unbearable place.”

Jose Baez and Linda Kenney Baden made the comments on the “Today” show, with Baden saying Anthony was similar to Dr. Richard Kimble, the character who was convicted of murder and went on the lam before being vindicated. “The Fugitive” was based on the murder trial of Sam Sheppard.

Kimble maintained that a one-armed man was responsible.

Could some one please replace attorney Jose Baez from the case before he makes a bigger farce out of the death of 2 year old Caylee Anthony. Caylee Anthony is dead, her mother Casey Anthony has been indicted on capital murder charges and will be on trial for her life or life in prison while her defense attorney makes ridiculous comments comparing his client to Sam Shepherd and the one armed man.

This would be funny if a two year old little girl, Caylee Anthony, was not deceased. For a month Caylee Anthony was missing and her mother never bothered to once notify authorities or her parents, Cindy and George Anthony, that Caylee was gone. Not until Casey was confronted by Cindy was a 911 call made telling authorities that Caylee was missing.

Sadly, the only comparison that Jose Baez wants to make between Casey Anthony and Sam Sheppard is that Baez wants to be make a name for himself ala F. Lee Bailey. It was this case that earned Bailey his reputation as a skilled defense attorney and was the first of many high-profile cases.

In 1954, Dr. Sam Sheppard was found guilty in the murder of his wife Marilyn. (The case was believed to be the inspiration for the Fugitive television series (1963–1967) and the 1993 movie.) F. Lee Bailey was hired by Sheppard’s brother Stephen Sheppard, at the time a resident of Rocky River, Ohio, to help in his brother’s appeal. In 1966, F. Lee Bailey successfully argued before the U.S. Supreme Court that Sheppard had been denied due process, winning a re-trial. A not-guilty verdict followed. This case established Bailey’s reputation as a skilled defense attorney and was the first of many high-profile cases.

Baez needs to put his tail between his legs, turn this case over to another atty and disappear. He is the one adding to the mockery of a murdered child. I’m SO FREAKING sick of all these atty’ss and experts, LP included seeking their 15 minutes of fame on the back of a precious murdered child. An anyone that really believes LP was out there searching should have been at the search where he sat in the shade in is boots and signed autographs, took pictures and NEVER searched (besides the little econ disaster). He also needs to go back to hunting fugitives and quit making a joke of this case by constantly throwing out facts that are a joke. I need a notebook to keep up with all his theories………what a joke and a sorry POS. But, he has easily recouped his bond in publicity.

One small problem I noticed with Casey being compared to The Fugitive is this….Casey is IN JAIL….not running from the law as an unjustly accused individual. Nor IS she an unjustly accused individual. So, other than the fact BOTH her story and the story line for The Fugitve are completely fictitious, I cannot find anything more to compare against.

Anyone able to help me out here? ;>)

Well, thank for the laff !
A one armed Zanny the Nanny who is like Hitler
      should be easy to find.
Seriously, Zenaida is in a shelter with some of her children as she has ben rendered homeless and jobless by this pack of liars and criminals who seem to have plenty of money. Someone wrote to Mark Nejame to see if there was some way to help her obtain a starter house and a job in Orlando. Zenaida isn’t standing around in a park with a donation jar, she doesn’t have a wensite asking for funds, she isn’t driving a billboard around either. She just wants to live somewhere and work for a living. And she isn’t having a pity party every day either.

You have to stop saying somebody is guilty, you have to stop saying people are bad. Stop the personal attacks. -Baden

However, do not EVER stop searching for the truth… and broadcasting it!

Baez and Baden’s wife know nothing about truth.
They are blood-sucking, parasitic, lying pigs
feeding at the trough. They will do anything,
say anything, and stop at nothing to set a
murderer free. After all… it’s a just a job, right? A resume builder! Nothing personal.

Caylee, you were only three and had your whole life in front of you… but your psycho murderer of a mom just decided she wanted to get on with
her life. It was a business decision. Nothing
personal. Casey did love you… I mean, she did
seal your duct tape off over your mouth with a
HEART before she threw your little lifeless
body into the swamp. That’s love, right?

I still fear Nicole G. may be tied to the crime committed upon Z. Gonzales. How do we know that someone wasn’t in the parking lot waiting for her to exit the building the night after her computer was stolen. It would, certainly, be easy to mistake one for the other with the description Casey gave to the Police… and all that talk about the park and the last day she saw Zeneida? There has to be a reason why she relied on those lies when questioned by the police… Going to that park when “Zanny’s” phone was out of order to look for them.

Why? Was she trying to tie the two crimes together, or was it a botched job that went astray and she hadn’t had time to think of another before her car was recovered?

What do you think, Blink? Maybe we need to see if we can help with that crime, too. She looks like a lovely young lady… one that Casey would hate at first sight and would have a lot to be jealous of. So much to live for… she had done all the right things to build a life that was well worth living for. She has a loving and caring family asking for answers… and a husband that adored her.

Cindy Anthony writes eulogy for Caylee Anthony, says Caylee ‘will be watching over so many other children’
      February 8, 2009
Cindy Anthony wrote this eulogy to her slain granddaughter Caylee Marie Anthony for publication in the Orlando Sentinel — her first public comments since the toddler’s death was confirmed in December. A public memorial service is Tuesday.

      (Eulogy begins)

Caylee Marie Anthony has captivated the hearts of so many people over the course of the last several months. Many feel a great loss for a beautiful child that they never had the opportunity to meet. They quickly fell in love with her beauty and her charming ways, as she read a story to her ailing great-grandfather, whom she loved very much.

For those who fell in love with Caylee Marie on national TV, their grief is only temporary, their hearts will soon mend, and their memory of her may eventually fade. But for those who actually had the honor to meet Caylee Marie, it will be much more difficult for them to say goodbye, and their hearts may never heal.On Aug. 9, 2005, God blessed this Earth with one of his most beautiful children. Caylee Marie was born at 7:14 a.m. in an Orlando hospital. From the moment she was born she forever stole the hearts of her family. Caylee was not only a beautiful baby, but she had a beautiful spirit that will live on in those that truly knew her and loved her.

She is survived by her mother, Casey Marie Anthony; her grandparents, George and Cindy Anthony; her uncle Lee Anthony; and her great-grandparents, Alex and Shirley Plesea and Ruth and Lee Anthony.

Caylee’s life will be honored in a memorial service open to the public Tuesday at the First Baptist Church of Orlando beginning at 10 a.m.

The family is requesting that those with only the purest of hearts and truly honorable intentions attend the service for their beloved child. This service will be a tribute to her life and a time for her family and friends to finally be together to openly express and share their love for her.

The family is requesting, in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to Eastside Baptist Church, 1900 Conway Gardens Road in Orlando; Orlando Rescue Mission; or Kid Finders Network.

Because of Caylee, so many other children have been the recipient of the kindness and generosity from those who have donated on her behalf. Donations have been made to numerous organizations such as Toys for Tots, Shriners, St. Jude’s Hospital, Make-a-Wish Foundation, Boys and Girls Clubs of America, Orlando Rescue Mission and Kid Finders Network. Another child will receive a new smile after receiving multiple reconstructive surgeries to repair a cleft palate.

Because of this outpouring of compassion, the family will continue to honor Caylee’s memory by establishing the Caylee Marie Anthony Foundation. The foundation’s purpose will be to continue to generate awareness for missing children and to establish programs to assist in the well-being of those children in need of comfort and support during difficult and stressful times.

Caylee’s life may have been short-lived on this earth, but her life will not have ended without a purpose. She will be sadly missed but never forgotten. Caylee Marie Anthony now has her angel wings and will be watching over so many other children.

Grandma of slain Fla. toddler asks that only those with “honorable intentions” attend memorial
      By Associated Press
      5:13 PM EST, February 8, 2009
ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — The grandmother of a slain Florida toddler is asking that only those with “the purest of hearts” and “truly honorable intentions” attend a public memorial service for her this week.

In a eulogy published in the Orlando Sentinel on Sunday, Cindy Anthony also says granddaughter Caylee “now has her angel wings and will be watching over so many other children.”

Cindy Anthony says donations have been made on Caylee’s behalf to organizations that help children, such as Toys for Tots and the Make-a-Wish Foundation. She says the family will establish a foundation in Caylee’s name.

Caylee was 2 when she disappeared last summer. Her remains were found Dec. 11.

Attorney for George and Cindy Anthony says Caylee ‘deserves dignity’

The lawyer for George and Cindy Anthony issued a warning this afternoon for attendees of their granddaughter’s upcoming memorial service:

Be respectful of Caylee Marie Anthony’s memory or stay away.

“She deserves dignity and respect and she’s going to get it,” Brad Conway said during a 4:15 p.m. press conference outside of the Orange County Courthouse.

Caylee’s mom Casey Anthony faces first-degree murder charges in her daughter’s death.

In the months since Caylee Marie’s disappearance last summer, her death has gained national attention, and protesters have gotten into scuffles and shouting matches with the girl’s grandparents outside their home.

There will be metal detectors at the memorial, and backpacks and cameras will be banned. People who use the event as a “soapbox” to air their opinions about the case will be escorted out, Conway said.

Caylee’s remains will not be there.

Anonymous donors are helping to pay for the service, Conway said.

During the press conference, Conway also addressed reports that Casey Anthony’s attorney Jose Baez slipped a contraband bracelet in a suit that the mother was to wear for a hearing. In fact, his clients did so.

“Mr. Baez has taken the hit for that and that’s not right,” Conway said.

    18. ANewGirl on February 8th, 2009 10:02 pm

I’m really sorry, but Cindy Anthony’s Eulogy sucks ! This whole thing is so absurd,,,,,the needle on the Gag-O-Meter gauge is going beserk!

I simply can’t get my head around the POINT of even HAVING a damn service. To me, this means that little Caylee is really not being laid to rest. Call me stupid- but I just really don’t understand.

Oh, and the Anthony’s can save all those bogus attempts at trying to look like proceeds or donations in Caylee’s memory are being forwarded to such worthwhile causes, too. What another complete CROCK this is! Trying to look like such caring & giving family-oriented folk at this point in the game is unfathomable.

To add to the dissing the Grandparents- I still maintain it ALL STARTS AT THE HOME. While Casey Anthony is sub-human & rotten to the core—maybe if Cindy & George Anthony had done a better job with their parenting skills or looking out for their Granddaughter-Caylee may be alive today. In a way, one could even have pity for Casey Anthony for what she was born in to and the environment which she was forced to survive. Too bad she’s not getting that pity here since any Mother that can take the life of their own child needs to be put out of their misery, and the sooner the better IMO. The entire facade of this tragic case is transparent.

i agree with misskatie. caylee was never a missing child. casey murdered her and then buried her without a second thought. cindy anthony continues to be in total denial about how vicious her daughter is. as usual, the anthony’s are making a mockery of everything. i don’t understand why casey didn’t write the eulogy. maybe baez could sneak in an ink pen and a piece of paper so casey could write something nice. oh, wait a minute! maybe casey could just wear a duct tape armband in memorium.

    20. HOPE on February 9th, 2009 12:40 am

      Miss Katie:

In a way, she’s right. Caylee wasn’t someone we came to interact with in a relationship that ran both ways. We can’t feel the love that she had for her grandchild and there are things that they shared together that we will never know, except through the eyes of our own children and grandchildren. And, there will never be anyone who will ever fill the void that George and Cindy have in their lives. All the pictures in the world could never capture the joy that child brought to her family… the joy and happiness that we can only imagine. For that, I am grateful. Because, frankly, I couldn’t live with that kind of pain.

    21. HOPE on February 9th, 2009 12:58 am

I hope they find some comfort, there, at the memorial and I pray that they find the strength they need to go on because George and Cindy have the rest of their lives to worry about. No matter what mistakes are made in raising our children or in keeping our families together, no one deserves to have this happen to them…

    22. Brenda in Virginia on February 9th, 2009 7:24 am

Well, if only those with the purest of intentions are permitted to attend, that certainly leaves out Casey…..not that she’s able or WANTS to go…

    23. Catherine Santi on February 9th, 2009 7:55 am

When I viewed what you put on youtube about the people living on casey anthony’s block, I was shocked. She had more than a month to think about what she was going to do with those names right down the road. I hope the cops are as smart. People tried to tell me that she isn’t smart enough to come up with that. But hey, when you live on the same street for so many years you are bound to know the neighbors names. I also want to point something out. While watching Nancy Grace, I saw Zenaida and her attorney. If by some strange coincidence casey did see her at Sawgrass apartments, and I think she did, did she have a keen enough eye to see that this woman has a heart shaped tattoo on her hand next to her thumb and index finger. The defense might run with something like that since the shape of this womans tattoo is very similar to the heart they found at the scene. She said the so called nanny didn’t have any tattoos, so if they try to use that, she already shot herself down. People don’t think that psychopaths are that bright, but in fact many of them are and many more of them are criminal. They get away with so much, like Bundy and them, because they are so believable. The cops in my town say everyone loves a psychopath because they are the worlds best liars.

I hope they convict her, I’m sure they will. They have all the evidence they could want and more. Scott Peterson’s evidence was nothing compared to what they have on this manson monther casey.

Thanks for letting me blow off some steam and commenting. Absolutely fascinating.

    24. brie. on February 9th, 2009 8:14 am

Only those with the purest of hearts and honorable intentions can attend, well I guess that would omit the Anthony’s. This whole thing is about as phony as it can get. And I think it is an insult to those with the purest of hearts and honorable intentions, like it has been all along. Meanwhile, Caylee lies in a box in the funeral home.

Conway said Caylee deserves dignity and respect and he is going to make sure she get’s that. What a dirt bag, people have always wanted that for Caylee and not because Conway says so!!! Now all of a sudden you want to seem so righteous representing the Anthony’s.

And now Baez is saying Casey was framed, this certainly is a dream team. He says Casey is innocent, well if she is innocent then you must know who killed Caylee…more crap…we know who did it and so does Baez, he is milking this for all it is worth.

Baez says we have to stop saying she is guilty, no more than he has to stop saying Casey is innocent….he’s afraid he won’t win his case…

Baez says they know who killed Caylee and it wasn’t Casey…they cannot withhold that information, it has to be released to Orange County investigators, if you know who committed the crime and you have proof why let Casey sit in jail. Baez needs to back up his statements. He’s going to end up in jail right along with Casey…

I guess it’s more of his drama and trying to plant seeds of doubt in people’s minds…

#31-Bay- Just a little diddy….As we all know- this is a public forum. HOPE…FoxFire…it’s all the same and it’s all good. With the exception- that no one I know wants to come on a website to blog about current topics without constantly getting a lecture regarding religion.

As you also are aware, I am sure—religion is a personal choice. I would like to think we all believe in the same God, as we certainly know there is a power greater than all of us. At the same token, when those of us older Monkeys were here from the beginning of the Natalee Holloway Case, we were subjected to blog hogging and rants from HOPE about the Arawak Nation (please)….

To be honest, I don’t even know what she was going on and on about now…but it’s a little much. Nonetheless, on a personal level anyway, I have nothing against any blogger—and HOPE is free to post as she desires. Without ever having met the woman, one would also summize she carries a great deal of love & compassion in her heart which is something this World could use a lot more of. We are all individuals, and respect for one another is also a positive thing. I don’t think anyone particularly likes having Religion constantly preached unto them or shoved in their faces at every turn, no matter what your personal beliefs may be.

Just don’t expect bloggers like BUN or I to sit by idly if we have an opinion or want to speak up on occasion to another blogger on Scared Monkeys. =) That’s not going to happen either….and it does make for some interesting exchanges on here…wouldn’t you agree?

I have a real problem with “only the pure of heart” attending the funeral. They delayed the burial for a reason that no one can explain, they refuse to share what they know with law enforcement in order to help bring Caylee’s murderer to justice. Lee addresses CMA at the funeral – who is that? Caylee or Casey? Pure of heart – gimme a break. Why does the Anthony family think they are above the law? They say they loved this little girl – so TELL THE TRUTH for once and for all – for Caylee. Actually show what pure of heart means & do the right thing.

New Girl…I think we are on the same track, reaching for spirituality which is inclusion. I do attend church and even sing in the choir, but I also think the dark side is probably not after us but inside us and comes out from time to time. Sometime even when we think we are the “chosen ones”.. Thanks for being a friend.

      A New Girl?

      My days are numbered?

      Good… Thanks for telling me.

BTW – Love that ‘good’ work you do. It becomes you to write to a blog on which the Arawak Nation was a subject, and you have yet to find out what it is? I think that statement says alot more about you than it does me.

Madam Churchlady… LAUGH out loud! If you were half as smart or had half the class of the average Joe, we wouldn’t, even, be having this exchange, would we? And to top it all off… you’re praying ‘Oh, my god, please’ on the front page…

      I’m Amazed!
