Political scandal and Obama has yet to even take the oath of office. Is any right thinking person really supposed to believe that Barack Obama was not interested in who would succeed him as Illinois Senator? That Obama would not his own hand chosen person to replace him in the Senate? Hardly, to believe otherwise would be nothing more than foolish.

It all depends on what the meaning of the word is, is. Change, why does that sound do familiar? Why does the comment that Obama made that “we had no contact” sound so familiar to “I did not have sexual relations with that woman”. However, in Obama’s case he has yet to even take the oath of office and had a cred issue.How often have we heard the statement that the cover up is worse than the crime?

For nearly two years Barack Obama made promises of political change in Washington DC. Obama stated he was a different kind of politician and would clean up the mess that was “Inside the Beltway” politics. There was just one problem, Obama came from the Chicago political machine that when it came to fraud, crime and corruption made DC politics down right tame.
Enter Illinois Governor for now Rod Blagojevich and the US Senate seat for sale to the highest bidder scandal. The fact that the Senate seat is the replacement for President -elect Obama is not lost in this discussion. Once again we are presented with another character of little to no moral value who as fate would have it is an associate of what we were lead to believe was the most ethical President to be that the United States has ever seen. I guess in the end it does matter who one associates themselves with like Reverend Wright, Bill Ayers, Tony Rezko and now Blagojevich. Interestingly enough in Blago corruption case, Rezco talking with prosecutors. Just one happy circle of associates. The question that needs to be asked according to Flopping Aces is, “What Did Obama Know and When Did He Know It?”
However, we are supposed to believe from the Obama folks that an individual like Barack Obama can come from no where, grow and advance in the Chicago corrupt political machine, be surrounded by people of less than ethical or questionable character … yet none of that sticks to the Chosen One. Instead, some hoe Obama is above it all and does not owe anyone for his fast political rise. Obama states he’s confident no representative of his “would have any part of” deals for his soon-to-be vacant Senate seat and he is disappointed in Blago.
Obama promised America Change you could believe in. Not only has Obama basically brought the entire Clinton Administrations back to DC, Obama now decides he will be further Clintonesqe. Obama’s claim that he has had “no contact” with Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich with regards to the successor to Obama’s senate seat is as Hot Air states, right out of the play book of Bill Clinton and pure Clintonesque.
That image belies Obama’s statement from Tuesday, following the arrest of Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich:
“I had no contact with the governor or his office and so we were not, I was not aware of what was happening.”
Is this anything like parsing the meaning of the word “is”? Obviously, Obama made contact with Blagojevich a week before the statement at the December 2nd NGA conference. Did they discuss the Senate succession? Probably not, but it’s not necessarily out of the question, either.
Barack Obama had better learn precision in the future.
Obama says he had no contact with Governor Blago yet as Ace of Spades says, Obama: Do Not Believe Your Lying Eyes as Obama and Blagojevich are seen together at the National Governors Association meeting last Tuesday.

In order to solidify Chicago’s impact as a world class city, there is a connection, although well hidden between the Windy City and Aruba.

The thing to remember is that as a politician in the same state and party any politician has to interact with people. However, he or she does not have to befriend a person, and limit the interactions to professional boundaries. Obama might have endorsed Blago in the general but in the primary he did endorse his opponent. So, the conclusion is that all the interactions were strictly professional. In a similar analogy, a lots of folks who endorsed Hillary then turned their endorsement to Obama when he won the primary. Even though he was not their first choice, he was the Democratic nominee so they endorsed him. That is politics works. Obama does not need to discuss any interaction once he indicates that he has not have any discussions regarding the vacant seat. Therefore, he was not involved in any wrongdoing – it’s time to move on and look forward! Let’s focus on all other critical problems at hand!

SM: The basis of all leadership is character, honesty and credibility. Without it, “we the people” have nothing. Read Obama’s lips … he stated neither he nor anyone in his campaign had “ANY INTERACTION” with the gov. NONE, ZERO, NADA, NULL … That is not the truth.
Personally, it makes no sense for Obama to make such a comment that is so easily proven false. Why did the Chosen One feel the need to lie?
Why is it that Ill Gov Blago has a 4% approval rating, is being asked to resign or face impeachment?
By your standard, Blago just needs to say he is going back to do the work if the Illinois people and forget anything happened.

Even though I don’t like Obama, I have to tend to believe him that he has no involvement in this…just a gut feeling I have and a feeling I hate…
Now, I have no doubt that someone on his staff had some contact. I soundly believe that his COS, Emanuel, the twinkle toes ballet dancer (LOL!), had some contact. Emanuel is even more of scumbag than Obama. His a midget ballet dancing napolean complex SOB.

See that is the problem. You believe everything this man says. You can’t honestly believe he nor his staff didn’t have any kind of contact with the Governor? I’m not saying he’s involved with the scandal but to say he had no contact is just not true.
Yes, we have been on his back about everything because he has promised change and has yet to tell us what this change is. He has been less than honest from the beginning. So far looks like the same old same old with him bringing everyone back from the Clinton administration. The liberals have been on Bush’s back for the past 8 years for every little thing so expect the same in return.
