Can Sarah Palin Debate … WOW, You Betcha!!! Palin-Biden VP Debate … Frank Luntz Focus Group Palin Landslide, MSM (CBS & CNN) in the Tank for Obama

Sarah Palin … SHOCK AND AWE AT THE VP DEBATE! There is a reason why America likes her …

Palin_Sarah_woman

As Michelle Malkin states … Sarah is the real deal, SHE ROCKS!

There were those that questioned whether Alaska Governor and Republican VP candidate Sarah Palin was up to the challenge to debate a 30 year seasoned politician like Joe Biden who was had two Presidential runs of this own. Could Sarah Palin debate … YOU BETCHA!!! It was Sarah being Sarah. This is why Sarah Palin is a star and the LEFT is afraid.

Peggy Noonan on Sarah Palin: “She Killed”

There is a reason why Democrats, the Left and the MSM want to destroy Sarah Palin and all she stands for. It is because she resonates with every day Americans and is the anti-Washington DC insider. She speaks to Americans as an American, not as an elitist politician. Sarah Palin is the Democrats worst nightmare now and into the future. She is a star on the political stage and the LEFT cannot stand that she is a Republican.

Transcript of Palin, Biden debate

Watch Frank Luntz and his focus poll of undecided voters and what they had to say. The focus group went overwhelmingly for Sarah Palin. The focus group felt as if she was one of them. They thought she was informed and likeable.

Frank Luntz even stated at the end that the reaction to Gov. Sarah Palin’s debate was so positive that we should watch the polls in the upcoming days as there will be a shift … GAME ON!

However, CBS and Hot Air states that CNN are reporting in their polls that Biden won. Sorry, I do not buy it. The MSM has been so in the tank and looking to depress the Republican vote, I cannot take a poll seriously that so many so-called “uncommitted” voters saw that debate as a clear Biden win.

Forty-six percent of the uncommitted voters surveyed say Democrat Joe Biden won the debate, compared to 21 percent for Republican Sarah Palin. Thirty-three percent said it was a tie.

The Gateway Pundit has some great pre-debate footage and material. Even better post-Debate post … Monster Rally Greets Palin Like a Super Bowl Champ After Debate!  Sarah Palin takes St. Louis.

Many of the pundits even the Obama camp said that Palin did a good job; however, Biden won of substance. Really, Biden won on substance? Too bad much of what he said during the debate was just plain factually incorrect. OK, he lied! Carl Rove states that Biden was wrong 16 times during the debate.

Watch the debate for yourself and decide …

      Really?
When you debate – the whole purpose is to rebuttal what you think is incorrect.
I assure you if Biden would have DODGED EVERY QUESTION like Palin did and just talk about “what her camp will allow” you would be all over him. I find it interesting that you write that Biden was wrong 16 times, but you don’t have the number of how many time Palin “lied.”
Biden CLEARLY won the debate – all the debate did for me last night was prove that Palin is an idiot!

      PALIN ROCKED THE HOUSE!

    3. SUPER DAVE on October 3rd, 2008 10:48 am

okay, another woman hater on the site.darelkhj!
all you democrat wimps are so afraid of a woman that you would stoop so low as to attack her and her family when she has said not one word about barry’s family.
she has the strength and the nerve to stand toe to toe with a man and come out on top.
a mojority of this country’s problems stem from democratic greed and raping of the American citizen. and you want barry o in office to screw things up even more.
what will you do when your messiah does not come through ? will you still blame the republicans or blame yourselves? you better check your boy out well because he has already hoodwinked and bamboozled the democrats.

#1 Darelkj…Your man Biden “LIED” at least 16 times so you think that is a good way to have a rebuttal!! Get real! We are tired of all the BS Capital Hill Liars! He did not come out on top.
He came out as a LIAR…

Palin stood up for the American average Joe and will clean house once she is in as VP of this country.

Scared Monkeys is REPUBLICAN…..CNN is DEMOCRAT and the list goes on and on. Bottom line is that none of these ever give unbiased stories & news releases about politics on their sites. So I personally take all of it with a grain of salt, shake my head and chuckle at how they all try to one up the other…kind of like 5th graders saying UH HUH….NUH UHHHHHH….blah blah blah.

If we all agreed it would be a boring world..C’est La Vie!

    7. Justice on October 3rd, 2008 12:09 pm

Sorry people. Palin didn’t answer the questions. She avoided alot of them and said what she wanted. If the moderator had done what Katie Couric did and made her answer. Palin would have looked just as bad last night as she did on Couric’s interview. The women is clueless

    8. Alesia on October 3rd, 2008 12:19 pm

I thought Biden did a fantastic job!! If I wasn’t going to vote for him before (which I was) I would most certainly vote for him after last nights debate. And for the record I am a female so I’m not discriminating against Palin because she’s a woman, she’s just clueless.

    9. Steve Holloway on October 3rd, 2008 12:22 pm

YES SHE CAN…YES SHE CAN….YES SHE CAN…..HA HA. I’m sorry, I’m sick of hearing the Obama chant Yes we can.

She is a Godly person and what this country needs at this moment, to clean house so to speak.

    10. Sharon Chicago on October 3rd, 2008 12:42 pm

Justice & Alesia….. I THINK YOU BOTH ARE CLUELESS…. Now if you feel that was an inaccurate statement for me to make, then maybe you should re-consider your statement about Palin being clueless. Care to elaberate because you both are in the minority, polls clearly state that Palin rose to the top and was excellent!

    11. Sharon Chicago on October 3rd, 2008 12:43 pm

PALIN is what America needs not another Capital Hill Liar! (Biden lied 16 times)-

JUDGE ORDERS OBAMA TO PRODUCE BIRTH CERTIFICATE

      By Jon Christian Dryer

      October 3, 2008

      NewsWithViews.com

On September 29, 2008 US District Court Judge R. Barclay Surrick, the federal magistrate for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania ruled in the matter of Philip J. Berg vs Barack Hussein Obama, et al as the world was distracted by the $700 billion subprime mortgage crisis. Obama signed a breathe of relief as the mainstream media chose to ignore the question: “Can Senator Barack Hussein Obama legally seek the office of President of the United States?”

The flap began in June when National Review’s Jim Geraghty raised the question and asked the Obama Campaign to release a copy of his birth certificate in order to prove that he actually was born in the United States. (Reports had previously surfaced claiming that Obama’s Kenyan grandmother, Sarah Hussein Obama, told reporters that Obama was not born in Hawaii, but in Kenya. She reportedly told reporters that when her son, Barack Hussein Obama, Sr. returned to Kenya he was accompanied by a pregnant white wife who was close to term.)

Obama’s family did not take to Stanley Ann Dunham Obama well according to Sarah Obama because she was white. Shortly after she arrived in Kenya Stanley Ann decided to return to Hawaii because she did not like how Muslim men treated their wives in Kenya. However, because she was near term the airline would not let her fly until after the birth of her baby. Obama’s grandmother said the baby was born in Kenya and that shortly after Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. was born, Stanley Ann returned to Hawaii.

Purportedly, when she arrived back in Hawaii, Stanley Anne registered her son’s live birth as an event which had just happened—in Hawaii. This supposition is based on the appearance, shortly after Nov. 6, 2007, of a Hawaiian birth certificate that was issued, as a duplicate birth certificate, by the State of Hawaii to a US Senator who requested it.

While the Internet screamed that the birth certificate, which appeared on the Obama Campaign’s “Fight The Smears” website and was also downloaded and used by far left blogger Markos Zuniga on his website, Daily Kos, it was not an electronic image concocted by Daily KOs as was hypothesized by a self-described cyvbersleuth who uses the cyber pseudonym Techdude. It was the real McCoy—even if it was issued as a political favor to a prospective Democratic presidential candidate by a Democrat official in Hawaii. The county clerk who issued the document, which purports to be a copy of an original document, was date stamped “Nov. 6, 2007″ on the reverse side of the birth certificate in blue ink which bled through and is visible on the front of the electronic image.

Attorney Philip J. Berg, the former head of the Montgomery County. Pennsylvania Democratic Party and a former member of the Democratic State Convention and, reportedly a Hillary Clinton supporter, wanted to learn the truth from the myriad of rumors that also suggested that Sen. Obama may also have been a citizen of Indonesia. The only consistent part of the story was Stanley Ann returning to Hawaii to claim he had been in the United States and was a US citizen. In his ruling, Judge Surrick noted that the “…cause came before the United States District Court Judge, Honorable R. Barclay Surrick on defendant Barack Hussein Obama and the Democratic National Committee’s motion to dismiss.” The order continued, “Having reviewed the motion and plaintiff’s opposition to said motion and for good cause shown, it is hereby ordered that the motion to dismiss pursuant to F.R.C.P. 12(b)(1) and 12(b)(6) is denied. It is further order of this court that the following discovery is to be turned over to plaintiff within three (3) days.

      1. Obama’s “vault” version (certified copy of his “original” long version) birth certificate; and
      2. a certified copy of Obama’s Certificate of Citizenship;
      3. a certified copy of Obama’s oath of allegiance.”

In his original filing, Berg specifically asked for those three items. Berg told the court that “…at the time Plaintiff’s complaint was filed, Plaintiff was requesting protections from the court in order to stop Obama from being nominated by the DNC as the Democratic Presidential Nominee as Obama is not eligible to serve as President of the United States. However, Obama was nominated by the DNC…For that reason, Plaintiff must amend his complaint and will be amending this complaint to file a First Amendment complaint….”

Berg argued that he felt it was the role of the Federal Election Commission to ensure that presidential and congressional candidates are eligible to hold the positions for which they were seeking, and that those candidates run a fair and legitimate campaign. “In vetting the presidential candidate,” Berg argued, “the DNC and the FEC are required to ensure the eligibility requirements pursuant to our Constitution are met and the Presidential nominee, if elected, is qualified and eligible to serve pursuant to our United States Constitution. In order to be eligible to run for the Office of President of the United States, you must be a “natural born” citizen.

“There appears to be no question that Defendant Obama’s mother, Stanley Ann Dunham, was a US citizen. It is also undisputed, however, that his father, Barack Obama, Sr., was a citizen of Kenya. Obama’s parents, according to divorce recorded, were married on or about February 2, 1961.

“Defendant Obama claims he was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. on August 4, 1961 and it is uncertain in which hospital he claims to have been born. Obama’s grandmother on his father’s side, his half-brother and half-sister all claim Obama was born not in Hawaii but in Kenya. reports reflect that Obama’s mother traveled to Kenya during her pregnancy; however, she was prevented from boarding a flight from Kenya to Hawaii. at her late stage of pregnancy (which apparently are normal restrictions, to avoid births during flights). By these reports, Stanley Ann Dunham Obama gave birth to Obama in Kenya, after which she flew home and registered Obama’s birth. There are records of a “registry of birth” for Obama, on or about August 8, 1961 in the public records office in Hawaii.”

Berg’s investigators revealed that Obama’s own half-sister Maya Soetoro—with whom he was raised—seemed not to know where her own brother was born. In the Nov., 2004 interview by the Rainbow Newsletter Maya Soetoro said Obama was born on Aug. 4, 1961 at Queens Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. In February, 2008 Maya was interviewed by the Star Bulletin. This time she told reporters that Obama was born on August 4, 1961 at the Kaliolani Medical Center for Women and Children. On June 9, 2008 Wayne Madsen, a journalist with Online Journal published an article in which he said a research team went to Mombassa, Kenya and located a Certificate registering the live birth of Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. to his father, a Kenyan citizen and his mother, a US citizen.

Berg’s argument to the court was that under the US Nationality Act of 1940, Section 317 (b), a minor child follows the naturalization and citizenship status of his or her custodial parent. In Obama’s case, Berg argued, a minor child follows the naturalization and citizenship status of his or her custodial father. Obama’s Indonesian stepfather, Lolo Soetora signed a statement acknowledging Obama as his son, giving Obama natural Indonesian citizenship, which explains the name “Barry Soetoro” and his citizenship listed as Indonesian. Loss of US citizenship, under US law in effect in 1967 required that foreign citizenship be achieved through “application.” Which, according to Berg, is precisely what happened to Obama when his mother married Soetoro and the family moved to Indonesia.

When Obama and his mother moved to Indonesia, Obama had already been enrolled in school—something that could not have happened under Indonesian law if Soetoro had not signed an acknowledgment (the application) affirming that Obama was his son, it deemed his son to an Indonesian State citizen. (Citizenship of Republic of Indonesia, Law No. 9 of 1992 dated 31 mar. 1992, Indonesia Civil Code): “…State children of Indonesia include: (viii) children who are born outside of legal marriage from foreign State citizen mother who are acknowledged by father who is Indonesian State citizen as his children and that acknowledgment is made prior to children reaching 18 years of age or prior to marriage; Republic of Indonesia Constitution, 1945.” Furthermore, under Indonesian law, if a resident Indonesian citizen married a foreigner—in this case, Lolo Soetoro marrying Stanley Ann Obama—she was required to renounce her US citizenship.

In his lawsuit, Berg demanded a copy of Obama’s Certificate of Citizenship, a document Obama must have applied for to regain his citizenship—which was lost in Indonesia. He will have that document only if the proper paperwork was filed with the US State Department when Obama returned to Hawaii in 1971 since that is the only way Obama could regain his US “natural born” status. Berg is convinced that Obama was never naturalized in the United States after his return. Obama returned to his maternal grandparents in Hawaii without his mother. Since she is the only one who could have filed for the reinstatement of his citizenship, it is unlikely it ever happened. If it did, his Certificate of Citizenship would affirm his right to seek the office of President. Without it, Barack Obama is just another resident alien who can’t legally hold his seat in the US Senate.

For 80% of the debate, Palin made no attempt to answer the question proposed, she was rattling off a prepared script in 90 second increments. She was not debating, she was just speaking.

Biden “lied 16 times”? Truth-stretching is part of our political system. Logs in eyeballs, glass houses, these sort of things come to mind. I find factcheck.org a pretty good place to sort through the muck, and I have not heard any complaints about factcheck.org.

I come here to read about high profile missing persons cases because SM seems to be the first to know when there’s new info. I have to say I don’t agree in the least on the politics side of things. Sarah Palin is a nice lady, but she just doesn’t have a clue. If she has to go to debate camp in order to participate in a debate, what is she going to do to prepare for the role as VP? More importantly, how prepared is this hockey mom to become the president of the United States? And how DARE her equate pulling out of Iraq as SURRENDER. That was an extremely insensative thing to say and that is NOT what Obama/Biden are all about. Iraq has a surplus of money while we are bleeding our economy to help theirs. SICK!

So many people vote according to how their parents voted. They are convinced the other side are liars and thieves…and now the nut jobs are coming out of the woodwork and calling Obama the anti-Christ. What a crock-o-crap!

McCain is no Maverick and Palin is just a pretty woman who can learn to use key phrases without having any clue what she is doing or what is going on in the world.

READ THE FACTS, people. If McCain wins this election, he and his fat cronies will get richer and fatter while the rest of us continue to sink into poverty.

    18. SUPER DAVE on October 3rd, 2008 2:10 pm

can’t you see that he is going to bankrupt this country with his trillion dollar bailout and the taxpayers will be left holding the bill.
sorry, but the delusional ones are you guys. you didn’t fall on plymouth rock, plymouth rock fell on you !!! in the form of barry o. as of right now, an illegal alien with no green card.

    19. Just Bearly on October 3rd, 2008 2:11 pm

I thought Sarah was very strong in the first hour of the debate, but was not quite as sharp in the last 1/2 hour when Biden picked it up some. I thought Palin had Joe on the offensive for a while at the start.

I was somewhat amused how they could twist each others words, or would share near identical positions when engaged in rebuttals. Palin and McCain I think should have reinforced the NO vote to the bailout plan, and done more to reinforce that they are on the side of us everyday Americans. She is right on with that message.

I am also not convinced that either party wants peace, and to bring the Soldiers home; with the talk of continuing to fight in Afghanastan, IMO this is another war that will just continue bankrupting our Country.

The debate did NOT influence me to vote for either of the two Presidential candidates. If Obama wins though, I think he should put Palin in charge of the Dept of Energy.

    20. Just Bearly on October 3rd, 2008 2:20 pm

I meant to say I thought Palin had Biden on the defensive early on with her good debating style.

No offense to Biden backers, but when he talks, all I hear him say is Mumbo Jumbo, mumbo jumbo, mumbo jumbo, like only a seasoned politician can.

Palin won the sound bite war and may have won if there were such a thing as debate points, even if she only answered the questions she wished to answer. She may have won on “form.” Biden, in my humble opinion, won on “substance.” Whether or not you agreed with Biden, the contrast in depth of understanding was obvious. If they had allowed follow-ups or discussion between the candidates, I fear Palin would have folded. That’s why she does so poorly in interviews

I kind of resent both of them doing the Bill-Clinton-GW-Bush-common-man-come-to-my-barbeque-eat-at-McDonalds thingy. We need leaders who actually know something and are willing to talk about what they know rather than pander. But then I guess I’d have to have higher expectations of the electorate too.

Any worries of the moderator being biased seemed to be unfounded.

I don’t think it changed many minds, as far as voting intentions. Palin groupies, in search of their own “Rock Star,” will continue touting her as the victor of the debate and covergirl for a CHRISTIAN-feminist revival. The fact that McCain has pulled out of Michigan will more than erase any PR points Palin may have made. I’ve been wrong before..I really thought McCain would choose Romney, who would have also kept Michigan in play.

    30. Simon on October 3rd, 2008 4:53 pm

Palin was rude to the moderator, rude to Biden, she answered off topic many of the questions from the moderator(which woould cause her to lose points if she were on a debate team), she had poor knowledge of foreign affairs and the economy, she had no clue to the meaning of the term “Achilles heel” and she answered that question wrong, when she doesn’t know the answer to a question she states that it is because she is a Washington outsider, she states that she values education yet even with Alaska’s huge surplus they have one of the worse literacy rates in the country and her older kids aren’t college bound, her phoney down home behavior and language is a mask for her lack of knowledge and an insult to intelligent rural oriented people, she talked of warm and wonderful Wasilla but failed to mention that it is the meth capital of Alaska and that she fired a police chief who wanted the bars closed at 2AM instead of 5 and she also fired him because he wanted to change the law that allowed people to carry concealed weapons in a bar, she uses tha baby as a prop, and “you betcha” that she secretly supports the goals of the Alaska Independence Party as does her husband. She was so intent in not having a baby in the lower 48 that at 8 months pregnant and after her water broke in Texas while at a conference with her husband, she boarded a plane for a 10 hour flight back to Alaska to have the baby there. I don’t know of any other soccer, hockey, PTA , or NRA mother who would have risked the life of their unborn child with that unnecessary trip especially AFTER her water broke. Sara Palin, thank you but no thank you.

    31. Kay Zee Ess on October 3rd, 2008 4:55 pm

Hmmm, seems Sen Obama is gaining momentum despite the performance of Gov Palin.

Think she was right when a week ago she made the Freudian slip when speaking saying ” the Palin-McCain ticket”

If she doesn’t make the VP this year she may be too strong to stop in 2012 for the whole enchilada.

I also like the windfall profit tax that she imposed on the oil companies in her home state. Sen Biden correctly pointed out to her that her running mate should seriously consider it as well. Gov Palin is more of a Maverick than Sen McCain ever dreamt he was, and she probably still is.

Hate to say it(not really) but if she ran by herself, she would garner more votes than the two of them(McCain-Palin) and would give the Democratic ticket more to worry about than they do now.

      Funny how dat goes.

    32. Richard on October 3rd, 2008 4:58 pm

In the last analysis, I think, the state of the economy, and people’s fears about it, will make a lot more difference than the debates.

I thought Palin was very impressive in the debate, Biden was just more of the same old politics. It’s funny than Biden tries to portray McCain as “more of the same” when Biden is the ultimate Washington insider.

Being a Harvard graduate don’t guarantee anything.. Franklin Raines is a Harvard Graduate and Rhodes Scholar..look what he did to Fannie Mae, and walked off with 245 million dollars.. Who is paying for that now.?

      Franklin Raines..
The son of a Seattle janitor, Raines graduated from Harvard University, Harvard Law School; and Magdalen College, Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar.

Look at all the experts in Washington who got us in this financial mess.. with all their experience and degrees and know all.. Anyway when a person is VP or President, they have advisors on everything to work with..

Ty for the video of Kathleen Noonan.. I like her.

I was watching a woman Harriet Christian on Cavuto today.. She is a strong Hillary supporter, who now supports McCain.. She said tell me one thing Obama has done to be qualified to be president other than the senate for 3 years.. She thinks the dem election was stolen.. She says it’s gone far left..she didn’t leave them, they left her.. She likes Sarah Palin..

Steve Holloway good to see you again..and Natalee and the family is never out of my thoughts.

btw I think Ifil.. did good.but I think the attention brought on her by the book deal made all her more determined to appear as she did.

      Stunning Senior Moment

A very self-important college freshman attending a recent football game took it upon himself to explain to a senior citizen sitting next to him why it was impossible for the older generation to understand his generation.

“You grew up in a different world, actually an almost primitive one,” the student said, loud enough for many of those nearby to hear. “The young people of today are much more advanced than people your age. We grew up with television, jet planes, space travel, man walking on the moon and the internet. We have cell phones, nuclear energy, electric and hydrogen cars, computers, automated manufacturing, amazing technologies, ….and,” he paused to take another drink of beer.

The senior took advantage of the break in the student’s litany and said, “You’re right, son. We didn’t have those things when we were young…..so we invented them. Now, you arrogant little – - – -, what are YOU doing for the next generation?”

      The applause was resounding.. .

Sarah Palin is the real deal. I don’t know if the McCain/Palin ticket can pull it off against MSM, who obviously wants bo/jb to win, but if Americans put on their thinking caps and look past MSM, they will find the truth. bo/jb will lie, cheat, and steal to get to the white house, have no doubt. bo may not even be a naturalized American, and if that is the case, he shouldn’t even be a senator, and not entitled to run for POTUS. jb is jb….same old partisan that he has been for 35 yrs. bo/jb are the TWO MOST LIBERAL Senators of our time…People…get a CLUE!!
The $850B in new spending proposed by bo , along with his proposed tax increase to small businesses, that provide the bulk of jobs in the US, will destroy our economy and our middle class way of life. Small business is the lifeline to producing jobs…raise their taxes will cut (your?) jobs. bo isn’t afican american…he is arab american….just what obama bin laden WANTS in the White House!

Let’s close the arguments over who did better in the Biden-Palin debate. It’s a never-ending argument to which there is no answer.

There are about five weeks until the election.

What matters is policies, and their impact.

The bailout package was passed and signed on Friday … and the stock market closed lower.

The media are cheering on the bailout package. My question: even if the ‘dead loans’ are to be handled, will there be new economic demand?

    53. Anne on October 4th, 2008 9:56 am

Sarah Palin may be charming and folksy. However, that only works up to a certain point–especially when seeking the 2nd most powerful position in the world. Folksy charm is no substitute for substantive answers to substantive questions. There are people who are both folksy and informative. She is just not one of them.

We have had nearly 8 years of a president who exuded folksiness, but was just as limited and intellectually incurious as Palin. And we’ve paid dearly for it ever since–economically and in terms of world respect.

If McCain-Palin manage to get elected, I can’t see how this country will ever be taken seriously again.

      Obama’s birth certificate..

In June, the Obama campaign released a digitally scanned image of his birth certificate to quell speculative charges that he might not be a natural-born citizen. But the image prompted more blog-based skepticism about the document’s authenticity. And recently, author Jerome Corsi, whose book attacks Obama, said in a TV interview that the birth certificate the campaign has is “fake.”

We beg to differ. FactCheck.org staffers have now seen, touched, examined and photographed the original birth certificate. We conclude that it meets all of the requirements from the State Department for proving U.S. citizenship. Claims that the document lacks a raised seal or a signature are false. We have posted high-resolution photographs of the document as “supporting documents” to this article. Our conclusion: Obama was born in the U.S.A. just as he has always said.

      Another Controversy for Sarah Palin
Former Police Chief Says He Was Fired for Challenging Palin’s Campaign Contributors
By BRIAN ROSS and JOSEPH RHEE
      Sept. 3, 2008

Gov. Sarah Palin is already facing ethical questions over her firing of the Alaska public safety commissioner, and now she faces questions over the firing of a longtime local police chief.
New reports raise questions about the firing of a local police chief.

After taking over as Mayor of the small town of Wasilla, Palin fired the longtime local police chief. The former police chief, Irl Stambaugh says he was fired because he stepped on the toes of Palin’s campaign contributors, including bar owners and the National Rifle Association.

Stambaugh’s lawyer, William Jermain, says the chief tried to move up the closing hours of local bars from 5 a.m. to two a.m. after a spurt of drunk driving accidents and arrests.

“His crackdown on that practice by the bars was not appreciated by her and that was one reason she terminated Irl,” said Jermain.

In his 1997 lawsuit, Stambaugh also alleged that his stand on restricting concealed weapons upset the NRA.

      Related
      ‘October Surprise’ Over Palin Investigation?
      Palin Fought Polar Bear Protections

“Mayor Palin has stated on several occasions that the National Rifle Association encouraged her to fire Chief Stambaugh because of his stance against the concealed weapons legislation,” the lawsuit claimed.

Palin says she was up against entrenched insiders when she was elected mayor of Wasilla in 1996.

“We had a lot of people that were kind of dead wood,” said Colleen Sullivan Leonard, a staff member in Palin’s office. “We needed people with new energy and a new vision.”

A federal judge later ruled the mayor, under city law, had the right to fire the police chief for any reason she wanted.

Palin is now facing similar allegations in the state capitol, that politics played a role in her firing of the Alaska public safety commissioner, Walter Monegan.

“It has every possibility of giving the Governor an ethical black eye in an area where she’s touted herself as being particularly strong,” said Alaskan State Senator Hollis French, a Democrat.

At issue is whether Palin fired the public safety commissioner because he refused to fire a state trooper who was the Governor’s brother-in-law and going through an ugly divorce with the Governor’s sister.

Even though I refuse to vote for Obama for many reasons, I have to say I thought Biden handled the debate very well. Palin held her own, too. But here is the thing—when we show up at the polls on Nov.4th- most of us have not been completely thrilled with our choices this election year.

It’s like Dugga said a long time ago….I guess I’ll have the brussel sprouts. Overall, I would like less government in my life—and I will not vote for a Socialist. Barrack Obama is a fine enough person, but he is not the answer to America’s problems. I’m still not totally convinced that anyone who sat in Rev. Wright’s church for almost 20 years..asked the dear Reverend to marry him and baptize his children—well, I’m not 100% certain that some of what Obama listened to from the pulpit didn’t affect his views.

Anti-American–Barrack Hussien Obama—NOT ENOUGH EXPERIENCE, NO MILITARY/FORIEGN AFFAIRS EXPERIENCE, CHARACTER ISSUES, USES POOR JUDGEMENT, EMPTY SUIT WHO HAPPENS TO BE AN ABOVE-AVERAGE ORATOR….COMMUNITY ORGANIZER..lol Obama is not our next Messiah—and I can only pray he also will not be elected our next President for the good of this Nation.

McCain will be fine, and I am confident that Sara Palin will make an excellent VP.

it’s so funny to see foxy brown try to defend herself and i just wish i could see her ranting to her supposed black friends.
remember foxy, they are only your friends while you are around or when they can borrow money and never pay it back.
i seroiusly hope you have not had any mongrel children for the taxpayers to support because the father won’t be around to do it.

Consider the source. We have before us an obscene ranting former stripper who has contributed nothing to this world. I do not consider getting on to welfare and living on food stamps to be a great accomplishment. She continues to display the most basic lack of ability to discuss anything in an intellectual manner. She is a fraud and liar. She attempts to upgrade herself by contriving absurd credentials about herself and her husband. Her complete lack of first hand knowledge about Alaska leads me to believe that she probably has never been there. In all she is a rather pathetic creature. I believe it would be best for all if she JUST WENT AWAY. You can go home now, your cage is clean..JS

    79. Foxy Lady on October 5th, 2008 9:57 am

Who is Foxy Brown, that you should compare her to me? And who is this person that you conceive me to be? You don’t know me.

Are we to expect that Super Dave with his racist statements is the heart of America speaking to his nation? Are mongrel children less than that of a white child? But, even more than that, who is the hero, here? The man that presumes to know me and what I have contributed to this world? Or the racist that does plenty of hating of his own?

      .

And, then we have John Staton, the legend in his own mind who takes words and twists them around to fit the way in which he percieves women to be? Strippers on welfare and food stamps. I don’t need to defend myself against unfounded lies. I can assure you, I have been to Alaska and I didn’t like what I saw. Bars that stay open all night and day… people packing weapons… Natives treated as second-hand citizens enticed to spend their paychecks on alcohol and cheap women while their wives are left in the village, dressed in rags caring for their children?

No, I’m not a hooker. Nor am I a woman in a cage. I left my cage long ago. I am a free person, not a monkey or an ape; and I, just like you, have a right to my opinion, no matter how pathetic it might seem to you.

Besides, I’m not the one that fights to keep those bars open, the liquor pouring, the strippers dancing and the guns loaded… Nor am I the one that paints a picture of myself as the intelligent one with ‘high moral standards’ that took on corruption, while caving in to powerful Liquor lobbyists and the NRA in response to a police chief that was concerned about the safety of people. Nor am I the one that ignores the cries of rape and incest and treats the victims of those crimes like a victim of the state, as well.

Maybe you need to go, because one thing that this world doesn’t need is a couple of racist, womanizers that don’t have the ability to express compassion, empathy or the slightest understanding between right and wrong.

You are the ignorant ones, that hold yourselves above your fellow man. Perhaps, you need to spend less time trying to dissect me and more time questioning the moral standards of those that may be placed in the highest seats of government.

And, just to let you know, I am not a stripper on welfare and food stamps with mongrel children, but, even if I was… who are YOU to judge me?

      .

An intelligent educated person who has actually accomplished things with my life other than breathing in and breaching out. Something which you obviously cannot assert. JS

One has to question the value of education,

when a graduate with three degrees

      cannot, even, practice ‘common sense’.

you posted “Rumor about the judge’s ruling on the birth certificate is just that unfortunately, a rumor Telepromter President”

I went to the site and this was at the bottom, its not over yet. I want to know it is true or not!

****Based on information I obtained confidentially from sources close to this case within the last 48 hours, it appears that the court will, in fact, dismiss this complaint. Unfortunately, **the dismissal will be based on a series of obscure technicalities and citations, thus setting the stage for a larger constitutional crisis in the months ahead.***

People, can we all show some mutual respect?

Hurling accusations and insults at each other does nothing to help with the issues of the day.

And it looks like the need to examine these issues may be growing … today, Sunday (Oct. 5), it seems that Europe is going its own way to deal with its own bank problems.

Even Icelandic banks are under stress … and I, for one, never realized that they had problems.

So let’s try to be civil.

I would just like to know, WHAT QUALIFIES BO, to be president, it seems to me that Sarah Palin has at least more experience than he does and John McCains experience in politics as well as his Military experience makes their ticket much more attractive.
