Obama is Losing It … In the Polls and His Cool … When in Doubt Barack Obama Plays the Race Card … More Smears … “Sambo”

Dumpster Diving from the LEFT!!! Moonbats caught in False Smear.

What despicable and desperate acts the LEFT will do to smear and discredit Sarah Palin. The LEFT had never heard of Palin a week ago and now she is  public enemy #1 on their hit list. It is too bad the LEFT does not go after the real enemies of the Unites States the same way they do Republicans.

Palin_sarah_5

Sarah Palin … Public enemy #1 of the media and Democrats

The bloom is off the Obama rose and his once invincible quest to BS the American public on his way to the White House has hit a road bump. That detour is in the form of a feisty hockey mom who is out-Obamaing Obama. The Obamamessiah, the so-called candidate of change has met his match. Obama claims to be out change; however, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is CHANGE!!! So why is Palin such a threat? Could it be that she is more popular than either Obama or McCain … YES!!! The attack media has made Palin more popular than their “Chosen One” and they still don’t know enough to stop.

Obama has been for 18 months nothing more than a politician with a good and unchallenged stump speech. That was until Sarah Palin wowed millions of Americans were her brilliant acceptance speech. The result, the Gallup poll shows Obama with only a 2 point lead, down from 8. McCain has received solid marks for his speech as well as more people saw McCain’s speech than even that of the “Chosen One”. The Rasmussen poll has only a 1 point lead for Obama.

So why is Barack Obama and the LEFT so upset with Sarah Paling that the Obama campaign feels the need to play the race card and the LEFT feels the needs to make outlandish racist comments. Sarah Palin has gone from unknown to th greatest threat to the LEFT and Democrats since Ronald Reagan. Now the nut jobs on the LEFT are claiming that Palin called Obama, “Sambo”.  That is correct. The LEFT has lost their collective minds and they have yet to lose the 2008 Presidential Election. As Wake Up America states, they are in such panic mode that they are willing to say anything against poor Sarah.

Honestly, what is wrong with these people? The Jawa Report puts all the pathetic and disgusting smears to music. The assassins are out in full force. As Flopping Aces reports, the latest smears against Palin are well known Democrat “assassins” whose sole job is to put out disgusting lies into the blogosphere.

Update … Little Green Footballs is reporting that The Daily Kos story that they linked to … Palin is ‘Racist, Sexist, Vindictive, and Mean’ – Update: Down the Memory Hole! That’s correct … a smear and delete!

However, why should be be surprised the the far Left would attempt to smear Palin and call her a racist, Barack Obama does the exact same thing using the race card. I must have missed these racial comments at the Republican National Convention.

“I know that I’m not your typical presidential candidate,” Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., told executives and employees of the Schott glass company Friday afternoon, “and I just want to be honest with you. I know that.”
“And I know that the temptation is to say, ‘You know what? …The guy hasn’t been there that long in Washington.,’ You know, ‘he’s got funny name,’ You know, ‘we’re not sure about him,’” Obama continued. “And that’s what the Republicans, when they say, ‘This isn’t about issues, it’s about personalities,’ what they’re really saying is, ‘We’re going to try to scare people about Barack. So we’re going to say that you know, maybe he’s got Muslim connections or we’re going to say that, you know, he hangs out with radicals or he’s not patriotic.’

Hot Air has even more delusional nonsense from Bill Maher. Keep it up folks, you have successfully pissed off most fence riding normal independent minded thinking people. This is why freedom of speech is such a great thing, it let’s America know just how much a a lunatic and hateful one truly is.

As presented by Jay Severin of WTKK talk radio in Boston:

…As we enjoy Sarah Palin, be aware of one great irony: IT IS OBAMA HIMSELF (by failing to choose Hillary) WHO MADE SARAH PALIN POSSIBLE.
OBAMA PICKED SARAH PALIN – and now is threatened by his own hand.

(*) The left-wing media (i.e. all of it but talk radio) have declared all-out Nuclear War on the Repubs and McCain ticket.
THERE ARE NO MORE RULES OF MEDIA ENGAGEMENT: THE NEW STANDARD OF JOURNALISM IS DEVOID OF OBJECTIVITY…THE NEW NEWS STANDARD IS MSNBC (i.e. no standard)

    2. caesu on September 6th, 2008 7:58 pm

      well, McCain got his Palin-bump.
and the race is tied again.

but not for long i suspect.
as soon Palin not so excellent political past is exposed.
      *accepting earmarks McCain opposed
      *wanting to ban library books
      *leaving Wasilla in debt
*against the bridge to nowhere after being for it
      *and the list goes on

furthermore the republicans have absolutely no plan to fix the economy.
so no surprise they try to ignore that subject.
after a closer look, McCain/Palin is just more of the same.

    3. Michelle on September 6th, 2008 8:10 pm

McCain/Palin 2008 Winners in my book. Make me proud to be a Republican.

Barack/Biden losers. They make me sick. Glad I’m not a Democrat. They are such idiots. Why does he always want to play the race card when things don’t go his way? That is why this country is still racially divided and always will be as long as people keep behaving like him and Jesse Jackson and that wackjob Al Sharpton. What a joke those two are.

    4. Maggie on September 6th, 2008 8:59 pm

This is why these people make me sick.. Truth doesn’t matter to them..

This is two of the stories I saw today.. Total BS. and how Whoopi Goldberg ever got a job hosting a show is beyond me.. They always want to throw out the Hitler, nazi bs.. Comparing Sarah to A German American Nazi woman..

Editor’s Note/Update: Whoopi’s blog has since corrected the error listed below.

Who let Whoopi Goldberg blog without an editor? In her Wow-O-Wow blog post titled “Sarah Palin Is a Very Dangerous Woman,” she lobs a wild pitch about the Alaskan Independence Party kerfuffle: “I also thought that this idea of America first coming from her was kind of strange because she was one of the people who wanted to succeed from the United States. She was part of a campaign to succeed Alaska from the United States of America.” Where’s the editor to say “Sorry, dear, don’t you mean ‘secede’?”

Whoopi’s article concluded by suggesting Gov. Palin’s speech reminded her of a German-American Nazi rally: “This girl is dangerous to me. This is a very dangerous woman, because I believe for her intents and purposes, she’s OK if everybody lives a certain way, that is to say, the way God ordained men and women to be. Well, already she’s breaking that because she’s the daddy. She’s going to run the country and the husband is going to take care of the kids. I just found the whole thing sad and very musty and very much like a Bund rally, but maybe that was just me.”

      From The NY Post:

      September 6, 2008 –

US WEEKLY is feeling the heat for its blatant slam job of Sarah Palin on this week’s cover – with angry readers canceling their subscriptions in droves.

Sources told MSNBC.com from 5,000 to 10,000 subscribers canceled after the mag published its “Babies, Lies & Scandal” story about John McCain’s running mate.

A rep for the mag denied the numbers were that high, but admitted to Page Six 1,000 subscribers had axed their subscriptions. The flack tried to downplay the backlash, insisting: “There has been no impact on our overall total . . . We have added about 1,000 new subscribers” at the same time.

Some insiders wonder whether raking the conservative Alaska governor over the coals in a six-page spread with headlines like “Anatomy of a Scandal” was influenced by Jann Wenner, a rabid supporter of Barack Obama and whose Wenner Media publishes the celeb sheet – and who endorsed Obama in Rolling Stone. Asked if Us editor-in-chief Janice Min and Wenner had any pre-publication chats, the mag’s rep refused to answer. Min wouldn’t speak to us.

One mag editor told MSNBC: “When Us went to print Monday night, it looked like the ticket was falling apart. They went to print thinking Palin was dead in the water, and their mistake was thinking everyone who reads Us is a Democrat, when they’re not.”

The Palin blast comes after Us Weekly’s glowing cover, “Michelle Obama: Why Barack Loves Her,” which gushed, “She shops at Target, loved ‘Sex and the City’ and never misses the girls’ recitals. It’s the untold romance between a down-to-earth mom and the man who calls her ‘my rock.’ ”

The Palin story by Mara Reinstein trumpeted Palin’s hubby Todd’s DUI bust, but neglected to mention it was 22 years ago. And the “lies” in the headline referred to false rumors that the real mom of Palin’s baby, Trig, was actually her daughter Bristol.

    5. Steve Holloway on September 6th, 2008 9:24 pm

#3 Michelle I totally agree with you. The more I see Palin and her family the more I like them. The Dem’s as a whole seem like they are taking their orders from the devil himself. Obama is the worst thing this nation needs. He’s for abortion, even if the baby is born alive, he supports the practice of sitting the baby in a room alone to die without any treatment to save its life. Shame on YOU Obama. Also to teach sex ed. to K1 kids. WOW! Friends with terrorist. Taking money from terrorist. Fake birth cert. Wants to lose a war. It goes on and on. God help us.
He’s a weak leader at best.

I used to love this website, but am concerned how biased it has become. What happened to presenting both sides of the political parties? It is just like some newspaper articles, where author’s include their Republican or Democratic views and opinions instead of presenting the facts. Keep reporting on factual information to help missing children instead of your right winged ideals.

    9. Dan on September 6th, 2008 10:43 pm

I have to laugh, Palin is scarring the democrats to death, lol. Whats wrong hero’s,got your panties in a bunch?
Its time for change and Palin is bringin it, look out washington, get ready for the real deal. Obama you do not stand a chance so dethrone yourself and save face. Don’t even think of running in 2012, SARAH will and slap you down, lol, lol. Sarah is exactly what our country needs, what a breath of fresh air!!!

    10. Brenda on September 7th, 2008 5:31 am

Joanne, Would you expect Scared Monkeys to post a story on Joran’s “suffering at the hands of Natalee’s family?” Doubt it. I’d not find the article enjoyable. It’s clear that boy is a sociopath and I’m not interested in his obvious lies. Same with Obama. I see him as one who will say or do for his interests so he can be president, not to better America, He is weak of character and lacking in toughness.

Notice he declared after the GOP convention that he “would not be bullied?” I know that when a person comes out with such a statement they already DO FEEL bullied! It’s also like when you have an argument with a friend. Normally, the one who goes to apologize first feels the most guilt…even it not the guilty party! Obama shows he felt attacked and it bothered him. As I said, he’s not tough.

Caesu, why should we believe you are truthful and Steve’s post is not? Your own words indicate only racists bring up a smear. If so, you are in that category by your own admission. All I read in your posts is anger anyway.

    11. Scared Monkeys on September 7th, 2008 6:52 am

#2 you have never been more wrong.

What the LEFT has done will impact the election. Nobody likes “MEAN”. That is all that the LEFT has been since the announcement of Palin … mean spirited attack ads with no basis.

The LEFT will overplay their hand once again and they just can’t help it. Their politics has been not about substance, its about character assassination.

Those posters above (A New Girl and Maggie, among others) are dead center on the target, and dead right.

It used to be that people like Walter Cronkite would simply sit there and read the news. No team discussions, no giggle-giggle, no flashy graphics … the job was to read news. Period.

Those were the days when there was still a distinction between news and entertainment.

We remember that Plato, in The Republic, laid out the basis for six kinds of government (if I recall correctly). Democracy was next to the worst.

Why? Because, in his view, there was an inescapable tendency for everything to slide to the lowest common denominator. Just like Gresham’s Law of currency: bad money drives out good money.

I’m not opposed to democracy by any means … but look at what the TV talk shows have made of the whole medium. Yap, yap, yap … and anyone can be an ‘authority’. It’s a race to the absolute bottom, and we, as a society, are paying the price.

Why should any sane person care what Whoopi Goldberg, or any other Hollywood celebrity, thinks about politics? Why should their views even be mentioned in newspapers or on the air, much less be heralded as oracles of wisdom?

The ‘celebrity culture’ that seems to enchant the American people has given us what? Merely another haven for the fast-money crowd.

America, come to your senses. Please.

Do not ever tell us what to do or write. You have the ability to post an opinion … not to tell us what to do. Go create your own blog if that is the case.

We have been fair in every story we have covered, why do you think its any different than when we cover politics? Just because you are a Kool-Aide drinking Obama supporter … that’s your problem.

The fact that you are a woman and would accept the treatment that Sarah Palin is receiving shows me that YOU are the one who is BIAS!!! You are a Democrats LEFTY first and a woman second. No one should think what the LEFT and the MSM is doing to Palin is acceptable.

      That is sad.

Funny, you seem to have no problem that Casey’s side is not be defended? Why’s that, if you are so unbias?

listen to the speeches of Palin and Giuliani again.
      that was MEAN.
      ridiculing community organizers for example.
that is going to haunt the McCain campaign surely.

Obama spoke out against attacks on the Palin family.
of course there are left-wing smearers who wil go almost as low as the racist right-wing smearers.
Obama had been under siege from them for over a year now.
but i haven’t seen McCain speaking against them much.

obama told oreilly that military action was not off the table in regards to iran pursuing the nuclear weapon. then he says he’s going to cut billions from the defense dept. what’s he planning on defending the nation with? slingshots?

he says he has a cadre of 300 foreign relations specialists advising him. on the georgian invasion by russia. his first brilliant statement was that both parties were at fault. the second day, his comments were even more ridiculous, and the third day, presumably after consulting his 300 foreign relation experts, he was going to bring the conflict to the united nations security council. russia has veto authority with the security council. obama is an empty suit.

#15-Ceasu—cut it out, will you? After all the lies and the way Palin has been unfairly crucified in the media with lies, exaggerations, half-truths and personal attacks on her family—do you or anyone expect this lady or John McCain to just sit there, play dumb and not defend themselves or attack back??

Partly-this is what campaigning is all about. Point of this post is how unfair the leftist media has been. I have listened to more than one source both on the airwaves and over the television RETRACT their initial statements or rantings since she was first announced.

As for the others who are relentless sliming and going below the belt—we’re simply stating the obvious—that is hasn’t gone unnoticed. Luckily, there are countless thousands (hopefully millions) of us out here who are educated & intelligent enough to know the real deal.

Personally, I love watching them all panic and scramble. If they weren’t panicking- they wouldn’t be resorting to these low-ball tactics.

Joanne: While Scared Monkeys may report the good news in the GOP and mock Barack Obama, at least (unlike the Kos Kids and many other web sites including the MSM) they report their “bias” with truthful facts.

There have been so many smears of Sarah Palin which are flat out lies (reported as if truth and news) don’t you agree that it’s refreshing to at least be able to read the truth?

    20. Scared Monkeys on September 7th, 2008 10:43 am

#15 … Spare me … put down your violin.

Their is a huge difference you Kool-Aide drinking fools between mocking some one for their policies and lack of any focus, vision or experience as opposed to calling some one HITLER or a RACIST.

You are comparing normal political speech to HATE!!!

The LEFT and their willing accomplices in the MSM have gone after Palin in a way that they would never gone after a man. The LEFT has always claimed they championed women’s rights. What a bunch of BS. They champion abortion rights and nothing more.

The LEFT has called and questioned Sarah Palin as an unfit mother because she dare have a special needs child and is a VP candidate. So much for the NOW crowd stating that women can do it all and have it all.

      READ MY LIPS …

The HATE and OVER THE TOP nonsense will cost Democrats dearly. It is already bearing out in the polls and American’s attitudes.

    21. Brenda on September 7th, 2008 11:57 am

This election goes so much deeper than politics. IMO, the voters are either going to vote for what’s best for America, or what’s best for themselves. I will vote for what’s best for America…and that doesn’t include financial comfort of the backs of others like myself and my husband who work hard in order to advance financially. Many cry about opportunity…well…go out and find some! That’s what we do. We don’t sit around and hope it finds us. Ain’t gonna happen.

    22. LilPuma on September 7th, 2008 12:16 pm

If Palin is guilty of putting her country before her family, let’s not forget that Obama is doing the same. It would be sexist to say otherwise.

Obama has shown us more than once that when criticized, he loses his cool. I’ve seen two types of responses from Obama when attacked. One is arrogant dismissal of the criticism, the other is the angry adolescent who is unaccustomed to criticism.

I was a supporter of Hillary Clinton. I was surprised when Obama decided to run for President because he’s my Senator and I knew his experience was limited. I like some of what Obama says and wants to do, but the longer this process goes on, the more doubts I have about him.

    23. A New Girl on September 7th, 2008 12:40 pm

#22—And to add to that—what kind of BS is this??—-Michelle Obama worked as Director on some board with her big bucks job for years…..in fact, didn’t leave that job until her hubby announced his official bid for Pres—and to boot—she still consults. This is just ridiculous—and IF the leftist IDIOTS and OBAMANIACS had been paying attention—since BEFORE the birth of Palin’s 5 child—her husband does NOT work full time while she was Governor in AK to assist with care for the children.

This is a crock of BS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sarah still kicked ass while working as Governor AND providing quality care for her childrenii – also their own Father kicking in when roles were reversed and she was the breadwinner. Her oldest children—Uhm—Off to war or self-sufficient! The Dem’s who claim to be so liberal and open-minded balking at this?? Just a huge double-standard. Talk about a completely assinine rebuking ! No one is buying it!

    24. A New Girl on September 7th, 2008 12:44 pm

P.S. Joe who?????????? Haven’t heard a THING about that Windbag since he was announced. Awwwwww…what’s wrong? Dem’s a little PO’d because someone else has stolen the limelight?

She is going to tear that gasbag a new one in the debates, too! I can’t wait. Remember the Saddleback forum? McCain does better one on one instead of rehearsed speeches from teleprompters- so don’t count John out either in the debates! He’s going to go right at Barrack and win over more voters in the process.

      24. Here’s a good article about Michelle that details her work experience. She was promoted to VP of Univ of Chicago Hospital about the same time that Barack was elected to the U.S. Senate. In other words, at a time when Barack was going to be home even less, she took on greater responsibility at U of C Hospital:

      http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=93535521

      Here’s one excerpt:

      “Joining The University Of Chicago

After leaving Public Allies, Michelle Obama’s next job was at the University of Chicago. First, she worked as the associate dean of student services. She left that position to work for the University of Chicago Hospitals.

The university’s former CEO, Michael Riordan, who hired Michelle Obama, said her commitment to both family and work was front and center.

When she interviewed for the hospital job, Michelle brought her daughter Sasha, an infant at the time. Sasha slept while her mother got the details about the executive director of community affairs position.”

caesu: would you call Obama calling Palin a “small town mayor” when she actually is the Governor of Alaska MEAN or ridiculing?

Where do you think all these phony stories about Palin come from? Why do you think your side is attacking her so hard? Is it ridiculing or MEAN to make up lying stories and phony photos that are now circulating the net?

What did you expect Palin and the McCain camp to do with the huge flurry of straight garbage attacking Sarah Palin to do? Cry? Whine? Call it a “racist” attack or bullying and then just back off “the one”?

This election is filthy and getting filthier by the minute. Palin “mocked” Obama’s experience in a light way since he and his camp spent days mocking her. I thought it was hysterical!

I don’t like the lies told about Obama and I don’t like the lies told about Sarah Palin. I wish everyone would simply stick to the facts and stop with the garbage.

Judging from the ugly tone of hyperbolic invective and scurrilous ranting here against Obama, that “uppity” black man must be getting under the skin of the tattered and discredited but somehow still clinging to life Far Right Republican party. If McCain wins, most LIB-RULZ (SP?) will be pretty much okay with it because we know he’s secretly one of us! (Talk about a Trojan Horse-”McSame” was close to bailing to the Dems a few years back.) Consequently, Ms. Palin will disappear down the VP hole where she’ll look smashing at state funerals in Kazakhstan, and adorable presiding over the U.S. Senate (“Um, remind me what do you Senator people do here again?”) And if Mr. McCain should –God forbid– succumb to the average life expectancy, well that’s a whole new hockey game with book-banning secessionist moose-killer Barbie in the White House, isn’t it… But what, my Obama-despising friends, will you do if, as often happens in a Democracy and during a “change election,” (see Kennedy/Nixon 1960, Reagan/Carter 1980, Bush/Gore 2000) the guy from the non-incumbent party eeks out a victory? All move to Alaska and secede? I now await the torrent of hate for expressing an unpopular viewpoint, which is apparently not permitted in GOP circles anymore.

Anyhoo, I was hoping beyond hope Condi Rice would run for pres, so take you judgemental idiocy to another board please. Besides, Obama isn’t black, he’s 1/2 white and 1/2 black..yet is pleased to ride to coat tails of “hey look at me! I’m the first black presidential candidate!” Oh whoopy-do on that. He would be equally justified running as a WHITE man based on FACT. Hmmmm….sad he’s turning his back on 1/2 of his heritage….

    33. LilPuma on September 8th, 2008 8:43 am

Reno. It was a group of Dems that were shouting at a Fox News Reporter, as he tried to get their side of the story out there, that he has blood on his hands. It’s Dems saying that unlike men, a woman with children shouldn’t seek a position of power. It’s the Obama camp that threw out outrageous racist statements and then accused the other side of being racist.

brenda, i totally agree with you about condoleeza rice. i’m at least hoping she’ll commit to some kind of job with cain/palin’s adm. whatever she wants is fine with me. as far as obama is concerned, an empty black suit is just as empty as an empty white suit, and a lying empty suit of any color or combination of colors is even worse.

one of the latest dem. claims is that palin has been applying for earmarks herself. at what point in time does a governor get to attach earmarks to legislation in the u.s. congress?

Dennis.. McCain said if he wins he is going to put Democrats also in his cabinet..and he was going to ask the top aides that are rich to work for $1.00 , yep a buck , a year..

ty Steve Holloway.. I had never seen them before.

steve, that happened with a lot of people during world war II. not with much regularity now, but i expect mccain can pull it off.
      dennisintn

the new york post has endorsed mccain/palin today. cites obama’s paper thin credentials as one reason.

Obama spoke out against these attacks by the left on the Palin-family very early on.
so if Palin is striking back, she shouldn’t go after community organizers for example.
these left-wing smeares are not helping Obama, same as the right-wing smearers are not helping McCain.

      no, that’s not the truth.
you are taking quotes out of context there.
Obama was talking here about making children in appropiate way aware of the dangers of sex offenders for example.

and this bill Obama voted against, was against ALL abortion.
that’s why Obama voted against it.

#40 caesu. You will believe what you want. I believe we have to stop the tide of evil in this world where we can. Obama stands far left. He is friends with known terrorists. He is not the man to lead America. He does not have the values to protect us. He wanted to run out of a war, not win it, but lose it on purpose. At a time that we were making progress and now that the added troops made a different, he still will not admit that we are winning. Look at this link. It says allot about freedom and its cost. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TG4fe9GlWS8

And if you do not believe about abortion and Obama here is another link and witness to this practice. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VIdbYjmbFzo

      God Bless this NATION Steve
