The case of missing 2 year old Caylee Anthony has gone from the strange to the bizarre. Why did Caylee Marie’s grandmother change the story? How did the story change from the 911 call where she stated, it smells like there’s been a dead body in the damn car to it was just pizza in the trunk.
“I have someone here who I need be arrested and a possible missing child,” she told a 911 dispatcher. “A 3-year-old that has been missing for a month.”
Anthony placed the call around 8:45 p.m., and answered the dispatcher’s questions impatiently. But less than an hour later, she was on the phone with dispatchers again – this time screaming and crying. She’d discovered her granddaughter had allegedly been kidnapped by the baby sitter.
Her daughter, Casey Anthony, had been missing for a month and the car she was driving – a white 1998 Pontiac Firebird – had been towed. Cindy Anthony found her daughter and the car, but not the child.

“There is something wrong…I found my daughter’s car today, it smells like there’s been a dead body in the damn car,” Cindy Anthony yelled into the receiver.
When Casey Anthony, the missing girl’s mother, was put on the phone, she remained calm.
“My daughter’s been missing for the last 31 days,” Casey Anthony said.
When a dispatcher asked why she hadn’t come to the police earlier, she claimed that she had done her own searching. (Olando Sentinel)

Casey has been a liar all of her life and has never had to face the consequences, thanks to her mother. I truely believe that Caylee’s death was accidental. I believe Casey was neglectful for leaving her in a hot car and is now trying to lie her way out of it like she’s done all her life. Fortunately, the police aren’t as stupid as her mother. I can’t believe that crazy lady used the rotten pizza story after she herself had already claimed the car smelled like a dead body. What a nut job!

Did Casey Anthony follow the Natalee Holloway case and think she could get away with telling ridiculous lies to law enforcement? First of all, this is NOT Aruba. Second, her daddy isn’t a wannabe judge giving her advice on how to beat the system.
On the tape you hear the daughter tell the 911 operator the name of the nanny that she claimed took her, that she left Caylee with.. She even spells the name of the nanny, said she talked to her recently and spoke with Caylee also. The mother tells the 911 operator, the phone number has now been disconnected. On Nancy Grace’s show yesterday, they said police had located the woman with that name and the woman stated she didn’t even know Caylee’s mom.
On Dana’s show a few nights ago a D.A. Mark Werksmen made a comment , similar to, the grandmother appearing on tv over and over asking everyone to help find her granddaughter and why should we be looking, when her daughter has the answers, she was last with her and not talking now, go talk to her daughter. Today, the grandfather is asking everyone, yet his daughter still sits in jail silent and won’t help the cops find Caylee and has lied to them.
If my 2 year old daughter was missing, the last thing I would be worried about is hiring a defense attorney.
How many folks really believe the defense attorney when he was asked if he believes (what ever)Casey Anthony has told him? He said “absolutely.” To me he was not very convincing and it is such a shame that a attorney would agree to defend a person who is unwilling to support the police and locate their own missing child. Also, I think the grandmother knows more than what she is telling and her first response were more truthful due to her initial reaction. Now she seems less truthful as time goes on.
And what’s with the mother not seeming concern about Casey and her car missing for a month as well. Several things obviously do not add up.

Wanted to share this 2 minute YouTube video I received this week, it can bring a tear to your eye.. It’s about 2 minutes long. Sad when animals are more humane then some humans.. I loved this and it’s a true story. Poor Caylee, who has been looking out for Caylee’s well being? Last night Geraldo said the mother said she would talk to the FBI..but not the police. She don’t trust them. What can the police do to her if she did nothing wrong? Maggie I wondered the same thing…Why doesn’t she know “Tony’s” phone number? Even in this cell phone world I know the phone numbers of those closest to me. Why does Casey blow off her friend and brother(I omit the grandma because I feel she knows something) when they ask about her daughter. Why does she refuse to tell them anything? Why, because they are outside the loop, that’s why, and she is not about to bring the inside.

It is apparent that Casey knows precisely where Caylee is and her fate will be sealed when that location is found!!!! I for one, can’t wait until the truth finally prevails.

very odd about this babysitter.. They have been reporting the address the mother Casey, gave for the babysitter, cops checked it out and noone has lived there for 5 months and another night on another show..they said cops talked to this woman and she said she had never met Caylee’s mom.
It is real simple people,the mother would be right at home in ARUBA with the rest of those lairs. She thinks she can lie her way out of this,I DONT THINK SO.
I have seen every interview/phone call from jail, etc… my conclusion is the police need to concentrate on WHERE Casey buried Caylee’s body.
I think that is probably what they are doing now.
The shovel, the cadaver dog, the dirt, Casey ditched the car, she tells a former boyfriend she is available now,… the sooner authorities locate the body, the better before it decomposes much more. Casey’s main concern is getting out of jail, because she is spoiled and had few limits put on her growing up. I sense she has dominance over her mother, and probably has a weak relationship with her father. I lived in a rural community where two teenage boys executed two FBI informants in a cattle-rustling ring. They were easily convicted because there were obvious bodies found, and the rifles were found buried in the boy’s back yard. But…..the mother of the boys stood by them all the way, “no way my boys could do that” blah blah..and the father of the boys kind of remained silent, in the background…..it has similarities. I think Caylee’s death was an accident from neglect. I think Casey went to another city to meet up with some guy, her boyfriend maybe, or to spy on him for some reason, and Caylee made it difficult to do these activities with this Tony person. She probably coerced Caylee into taking a “nap” in the trunk of her car. Why the trunk? Because a 3 year old can unlock doors and get out of a car, but she would be “safe”, in Casey’s mind, in the trunk. She probably got zoned out on dope or something, with a guy, and woke up 12 hours later and discovered her daughter dead in the hot trunk when she realized how much time had gone by.
She is trying to distract investigators and buy some time, it seems, with all the outrageous lies and behavior. After all, her lies always worked before, did’nt they, Cindy? George? Hello?

Pay less attention to Cindy’s words now. This poor woman is trying to reassure her lying daughter that she has faith in her so she might come clean. If Cindy says to the media that she’s lost faith in Casey, Casey definitely won’t come clean. None of us will know for sure what Cindy really thinks until after Caylee is found. Cindy knows her daughter is trash, but she’ CAN’T say so now, she really can’t.
I think Caylee possibly got brought along for a drug deal and was hidden in the trunk. I think cars may have been switched and Casey wouldn’t have wanted to speak up and say she’d brought her kid along… I fear Caylee died prior to the car being impounded.
How pathetic! Why is the grandmother asking the public for assistance that her own daughter want even give her. I love my children and would die for them, but if my grand-daughter was missing and my daughter continually lied about her where abouts….I would literally grab her by her heels, hold her upside down and shake the truth out of her. She continues to lie, because her mother is giving her the reassurance that its ok to lie, because no matter what I’ll be there. There is nothing wrong with standing in support of your child, but not in support of their behavior. This grand-mother has it all wrong and is asking questions to the wrong people and obviously looking in the wrong direction. Poor Caylee she certainly needed the public’s help, but it was long before she came up missing. This family is SICK and the relationship is unhealthy. Judging by the recordings who do you think is the mother in this situation? Casey/Cindi?
I don’t think Cindy is guilty of anything except hoping upon hope that Casey’s unlikely and unbelievable stories have some truth in them. I think every day she really knows more and more that Casey is responsible for the probable death of Caylee, but until they actually find Caylee, she wants to believe that Caylee is alive. If she admits to herself now that Casey is most likely a murderer, then she gives up all hope that the granddaughter she loves so much is gone.
She wants to believe it’s pizza and she wants us to believe it’s pizza and that Caylee is happy and alive. If she admits to herself and to us and the media that it’s truly human decomposition, she will crack.
Lee’s phone calls to Casey are the most telling. He has started to hate her– it’s so obvious. Their phone calls on 7/30 and 7/31 prove this to me. She never brings up Caylee– it’s all “hi, I miss you, how you doin’?” He answers her with as much kindness as he can muster and his answers are terse. He tries to turn the conversation to Caylee, and she just follows along realizing she has to, but she absolutely has no interest in doing so. He asks her about the letter he asked her to write 5 to 6 days ago, and she STILL hasn’t gotten to it– as if her jail days are filled with more important activities!
My heart completely goes out to Lee, Cindy, and George. If the investigators find Caylee dead, Cindy will have a breakdown. And, she will not show as much support towards Casey as she’s showing now. Her support is based on keeping her hope alive and that’s it. George and Lee have almost accepted the worst. Cindy can’t face it yet.
Just wanted to make another comment. If (and it appears likely) Caylee is dead, I do NOT think the death was accidental. If Caylee’s death was accidental as some here pondered, than Casey would be distraught. She might not appear distraught NOW, since she’s trying to get released and appear innocent, but she would have, most likely, appeared distraught in some of those photos that have surfaced of her partying at those clubs.
The only way she could be happy, is if Caylee’s death occurred because she WANTED it to occur. People become happy when they get what they desire or when their attempts at fulfilling a desire occur. If the death was accidental we would see her looking worse for wear in those photos– not glowing and happy. Also, if it was accidental, she most likely would have admitted it (crying and emotional) to the police since she’d be suffering so much. None of these traits appear.
There is no way any mother whose child dies accidentally could go out partying without an apparent care in the world. Only a criminal who doesn’t care her child is gone could do so.
When I first started reading about this case,I thought how stupid can this family be? I was mistaken,Casey is not stupid, she is one very slick cookie.Just because she tells lies, is unemotional,self centered and controlling does not make someone a killer. Oh, I truely believe she caused Caylee’s death ,but so far with all the facts we have,no one can say 100% she did it.She has committed the perfect crime, so far. I must admit Lee Anthony was very good at trying to explain away all the comments his mother and sister made,but I didn’t buy it.He said his mother was in contact every day with Casey,sometimes twice a day,and that when his mother made the statement “I have given you a month” what she really meant was, I have talked to you everyday for a month and I have waited everyday for a month to talk to Caylee and I’m not waiting another day.I really liked when he explained why Casey wanted her boyfriends number. He said that Casey had been going through a very rough time for the last month and her boyfriend was close to her the whole time,so it is natural that she would want to talk to the one person that she has been so close to. What a crock! I believe from all I’ve read the boyfriend did’nt even know the child was missing,oops I mean kidnapped,real close huh. A small consolation, Caylee is at peace and Casey will have her days of reckoning, here on earth and when she meets her maker.
What you do in this world you get back. The whole family is WACKED!!! They will all pay even when they DIE they will still be punished by satan. That was a innocent baby she was only 2 still innocent she is way better off than with that whole nutty evil family. Iv’e been following the story from beginning to up to date. I have professional experience in Psychopathy and Sociopathy. It appears from all evidence thus far, behaviour on the part of Casey Anthony is nothing short of being a Sociopath. This person has no capability to have empathy. She is a Pathological Liar, and believes her own lies. She can never be rehabilitated, not even if she spend the rest of her days in confinment with extensive therapy. This young woman needs to be behind bars. She is quite dangerous, and could be harmful to others.
On a more personal emotional level, I hope and pray that FBI and other Investigators find the missing child – Caylee alive and well, but realistically, Casey is a Psychopath/Sociopath, they will probably not find Caylee alive. This is a hard pill for us all to swallow, and hard for normal people to get their minds around a Psychopath. These individuals live in their own reality apart from true reality. It’s very disturbing, and there are many of them just like Casey out there walking free, so I am very glad that She is behind bars, and hope that that is where she will remain the rest of her miserable life.

UM I’M NO PHONE COMPANY WORKER BUT UH WHAT NUMBER IS SHE TALKING ABOUT SHE SAID IT WAS A BLOCKED NUMBER. WAIST OF TAX MONEY, INVESTIGATIONS, MEDIA COVERAGE. I SAY LEAVE HER IN A CAR ALL DAY WITH THE HEATERS ON AND WINDOWS UP AND BURN HER THATS WHAT I THINK SHE DID TO HER DAUGHTER.
Let’s be real. None of us (public) knows what is going on behind the scenes of this terrible ordeal. I’m sure neighbors are being questioned at length, along with any “friend” of Casey’s – and probably Cindy & George’s friends and associates. In my opinion, the family has had a long history of arguments/battles, etc. leading to the one that “broke the camels back” – on Father’s Day. According to one neighbor, it was reported that there was loud arguing at the house that day. I believe Caylee is dead. Casey is most likey responsible for the death of Caylee and sadly, at this time, it looks like it can not be proven. Give it time – they will prove it! And, when they do prove it, I think they will find at least one other person who helped Casey (after the fact) to dispose of her little body. Could be a parent, could be a friend (boyfriend or ex-boy friend).
Why do they not do a lie detector test on Casey?
And Maybe the Grandmother too? IF they want the child back,they would do whatever it took…The whole case seem wierd. If they think someone crossed state lines..get the FBI. Maybe they can
get this case moving as the police in Orlando or Sheriffs seem like they need help.
Suppose Caylee was being molested in the Anthony home. And she couldn’t just leave with the baby, because she was being blackmailed for something serious she had done. And Casey stole all that money to give to the people to care for her and then made up a nanny story.

I truly believe that caylee died in the trunk of that car. Casey didn’t have a babysitter and put her in the trunk and told het to take a little nap and mommy will be back and then went into the bar to party and forgot about her and then it was to late when she checked on her. She then left her in the trunk for a few days to figure out what to do and poor caylee started to decompose in the swealtering heat in that trunk. What a truly sad thing thing. Rest in peace caylee.

Every time someone asks Cindy about her daughters involvement with Caylee’s disappearance she clams up gets edgy and then says something like “let’s focus on finding Caylee”. Maybe the closer they get to Casey- the closer they get to her? Grant it, Casey’s stories are full of lies, but Cindy’s are too. There’s no evidence on Casey and her GPs are the last to see her alive. There are claims that Cindy had more of a bond with Caylee, so maybe if Casey was going to leave with Caylee it would certainly give Cindy a motive. What’s Casey’s motive? It might be a distraction.
This is absolutly crazy! This is the only other theory I can think of.
Cindy Anthony is old, desperate, in utter denile and now clearly has lost her freaking mind.
She went from, “it smells like a dead body in the damn car” to “its a rotting pizza” to, “there was no odor at all, NO ODOR!” She needs to be sent to the looney bin..If she gets on the stand she’ll be arrested for purjury.

I’d like to know why it took the GRANDMOTHER 31 days to report her GRANDCHILD that lives in her home missing. I lived with my parents as a single mom and they saw my son EVERY DAY. Picked him up from school and helped out with his homework. I’d like to think that if my mother hadn’t seen him in, OH, I don’t know….3 days or so she’d be frantic and DEMANDING answers at that point. Something is not right here.

Another thing, the parents believed Casey had a job at Universal Studios. Well, if you have a job YOU TYPICALLY DON’T RUN OUT OF GAS ALL OVER THE PLACE. YOU HAVE MONEY. Something is NOT right here. Talk about a family wearing “blinders” and not seeing what in the hell is going on.

We all should know that Casey Anthony is a LIAR!! She has made up so many stories. But by now we also know that she is dead!!! And now Casey is still lying, and now they found out that Caylee was given drugs to make her sleep, she needs to STOP LYING!!

Casey Anthony is a filthy liar that has told stories to the police ever since caylee was reported missing. You don’t lie about your own daughter missing unless you know what happened to her because it would be pointless to lie if you didn’t do it.Casey should be in jail right now but it’s not her fault the prosecution didn’t put her away. You have to give credit to the defense team because they did their job. Yes we want to hurt casey but why? We know she did it but it not her fault the police couldnt prove her to be guilty. We should be mad at the prosecutors for not doing their job by using evidence. They didn’t have enough evidence to prove her guilty so now she has the chance to live her life now!!!
