Caylee Marie Anthony Still Missing as Cindy Anthony, Grandmother Makes Ridiculous Dispute of Decomposition Scent from Mothers Trunk was Pizza

Some children just don’t seem to have a chance …

Caylee Anthony

Has anyone seen Caylee Marie Anthony?

2 year old Caylee Marie Anthony is still missing and it appears that her family would rather stone wall than provide answers and get to the bottom of what happened to missing Caylee Marie.  Where is Caylee Marie Anthony! First the mother, Casey Anthony, does not report her 2 year old child missing and now the grand mother, Cindy Anthony, now says the distinct smell of human decomposition coming from the trunk of Casey’s car is really 19 day old pizza. ARE YOU FRIGGIN KIDDING ME!!! Is the hair that investigators found in the trunk that was the same length as Caylee Marie Anthony pizza as well?

By the way Cindy Anthony, you do realize that when a cadaver dog alerts its handler, as one did in the case of missing Caylee Marie, it can tell the difference between human decomposition and a Domino’s pizza.

The grandmother of a Florida toddler missing for more than a month disputes investigators’ claims that they detected the scent of human decomposition in the trunk of a car used by the child’s mother.

“Do me a favor,” the grandmother, Cindy Anthony, said Wednesday. “Put a little piece of pizza or any piece of garbage in your car today and leave it shut up for 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 days in this heat and then come back to me in 19 days and tell me what it smells like.” (Fox News)

As excuses are continually made for the mother of Caylee Marie, her mother Casey Marie Anthony remains a person of obvious interest.

      What’s grammy hiding?

    2. brie. on July 24th, 2008 2:35 pm

Why would you have a piece of pizza in your trunk?

And why so long to report your daughter and granddaughter missing….were are the answers to those questions…most parents would be frantic if their daughter disappeared and would notify the police immediately….just what is going on here…!!!

    3. May on July 24th, 2008 2:46 pm

brie-I was wondering the same thing. Last Friday after grocery shopping I accidentally left chicken in my trunk. It only took me till sunday to get it out. Unfortunanly i didn’t get in my car on satuday, or I am sure it would have only taken till then. Granted pizza may not smell as bad as chicken or as quickly, but it would still smell horrible in the florida heat.
They are hiding something for sure, it would take me all of a slit second of realizing I could not find one of my children before I called the poilce. Someone needs to make these people talk.

Check the airlines and see if Caylee was a passenger…also a stewardess might recall seeing her if she was on the plane….and if you had kidnapped a child I don’t think you have would them talking with strangers or sitting next to someone that could ask you questions…

And who was this friend that Cindy said she left Caylee with that betrayed her….we are not hearing anything about that and why wasn’t she in court if she was the last one with her…

And one these tips called and told Cindy’s mother that they believe the kidnapper was headed for Charlotte, No Carolina, how in world would they know that…?

What a sweet little baby……in my prayers

    6. brie. on July 24th, 2008 5:29 pm

How could anyone harm anything that adorable, or any child for that matter….?

And why did Cindy borrow a shovel from the neighbor and when?

Also a neighbor said they had seen bruises on Caylee and she was blackened under her eye…when was that?

Why hasn’t the family called Equiisearch if this is what they believe? Maybe because they do not want him looking around…

In an interview with Cindy’s mother, they talked about the fact that Cindy friends said she always lied, would steal money from them, bounce checks, etc…when the grandmother was asked if Cindy lies she said, this isn’t about Cindy, it’s about Caylee and I am not answering anymore questions, just get on with search for Caylee…

    7. Susan on July 24th, 2008 5:55 pm

Hopefully Cindy Anthony will soon be arrested for her involvement in Caylee’s disappearance. She knows exactly what happened to Caylee and where she is, dead or alive!

What about the concrete pad in their yard that was poured over the 4th of July weekend? Is that where the pathetic sickos buried Caylee’s body???

    8. Maggie on July 24th, 2008 6:19 pm

Been watching some of the 911 call released.. July 14th, the grandmother says on the call to 911, I just found my daughter’s car today and it smells like there has been a damn dead body in it. Caylee’s mom stole a credit card from her mom and went on a shopping binge, while her daughter is missing. The daughter gave the name of the woman who was babysitting and took her daughter.. Police talk to the woman and she said she has never met Caylee’s mom in her life..

Lies and more lies where have we seen this before in the last 3 years? Only thing different is little Caylee , the victim, has the police on her side in this story.

    9. Maggie on July 24th, 2008 6:43 pm

An emotionless Cindy Anthony dialed 911 July 14 to report her granddaughter Caylee Marie Anthony missing and requested deputies arrest her daughter for stealing money and a car, according to two audio recordings released this evening by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

“I have someone here who I need be arrested and a possible missing child,” she told a 911 dispatcher. “A 3-year-old that has been missing for a month.”

Anthony placed the call around 8:45 p.m., and answered the dispatcher’s questions impatiently. But less than an hour later, she was on the phone with dispatchers again – this time screaming and crying. She’d discovered her granddaughter had allegedly been kidnapped by the baby sitter.

Her daughter, Casey Anthony, had been missing for a month and the car she was driving – a white 1998 Pontiac Firebird – had been towed. Cindy Anthony found her daughter and the car, but not the child

“There is something wrong…I found my daughter’s car today, it smells like there’s been a dead body in the damn car,” Cindy Anthony yelled into the receiver.

    10. katablog on July 24th, 2008 6:57 pm

Yep there’s something wrong and now I understand why some are looking at the Grandmother too. Didn’t know about the phone call to the police about the “dead body” smell in her daughter’s car or about the new concrete poured in early July until today.

I’m thinking the Grandmother knows more than she’s saying and only got hot about it after her credit card was stolen.

Something besides the car is stinking in this story.

    11. MB on July 24th, 2008 7:10 pm

This story is just sickening, and it is blatantly obvious what is going on here. The mom and grandma are attempting to make total fools of the public and the police. I get the feeling the grandfather doesn’t know anything, he isn’t speaking much and just looks annoyed, from what I’ve seen.

I can’t believe the 911 call where she admitted the trunk smelled like a dead body was in there and now she is backpedaling and saying oh wait, it was pizza? Give me a break.

It’s people like this, who will more than likely end up being guilty, that will ruin things for people whose children actually have been kidnapped and need people to reach out and help. Going forward, people will remember this story and will be suspicious of someone truly needing help finding their child, what a shame.

And also, their statements that the daughter can’t help, unless she is *out* of jail, is just total bs. That poor little girl, and shame on Grandma for trying to cover daughter’s tracks. And if she isn’t, and believes what the daughter is saying, she is one dumb, gullible woman.

    12. May on July 24th, 2008 8:28 pm

Actually after taking the 911 calls, if they are in fact real, no offense Maggie, I am just saying maybe they were made up just for the Internet. It is a crazy tech advanced world we live in…Anyways if they are real maybe Grandma is the one responsible for Caylee’s disappreance and possible death, she is just trying to frame her daughter. Maybe Casey left her daughter in her mothers care for some reason, and came home to find her gone. Told Mom call the police. Then her Mom laid one hell of a poor me quilt trip on her, so now she won’t talk. Maybe she feels her daughter may still be alive(through grandmas crazy rantings) and now is afraid to talk to anyone. I know it sounds CRAZY, but then everything about this case is CRAZY!!! Anything is possible. I have not actually heard anything from Casey, but after watching Cynthia on many TV interviews I can tell you this women is not right.

After all I have seen and heard about this case, I am sure I have not heard it all, but I would suspect the Grandma over the mother and then both!!

    13. pacers101 on July 24th, 2008 8:59 pm

what is the mothers history of drug use. I guarantee drugs are the main culprit here. no normal person goes missing for extended periods of time like this. And no normal person who has a child taken or missing waits 30 days to call police. in fact it was the grandmother who called 911, not even the mother. most people will go to the police right away. she stole a credit card and went on a shopping spree. That money went to drugs. I’m telling you it’s drugs. that baby is dead probably from neglect or that baby got sold.

    14. Maggie on July 24th, 2008 9:07 pm

Actually didn’t get the info about the grandmother saying that from the internet and yes I do agree.. sometimes the internet gets it wrong. I heard the grandmother on the 911 call on Nancy Grace’s show talking about the car smelling and also heard more about it tonight on Greta’s show. If you want to hear the actual tapes, they are on this site..

    15. david r on July 25th, 2008 5:54 am

I think pacers101 is right about drugs being involved. The complete lack of emotion shown by the mother suggests meth addiction. I have a friend whose son is recovering (we continue to pray) from meth addiction. It has turned him into an emotionless zombie only interested in what will benefit him from one moment to the next. To call him “immature” is a gross understatement. These meth addicts get diagnosed as having “borderline personality disorder.” I think she was on a drug binge, let the baby die in the heat inside a locked car, then put the body in the trunk until she could figure her next move. Either that or she is truly nuts.

    16. Scott on July 25th, 2008 5:58 am

There is a distinct difference in smelling human decomposition and smelling ANY kind of food left in the car for hours upon hours!!! PERIOD!!!

In times like these when young children are involved, TORTURE should be used!

Anybody defending the mother and grandmother are delusional. Defending her pretty much is like defending Joran.

Sadly, the little girl is dead and underneath the newly laid concrete slab!

    17. richard on July 25th, 2008 6:20 am

“Do me a favor,” the grandmother, Cindy Anthony, said Wednesday. “Put a little piece of pizza or any piece of garbage in your car today and leave it shut up for 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 days in this heat and then come back to me in 19 days and tell me what it smells like.”

Lady (not the correct term), it can’t smell half as bad as you and your daughter do right now.

That poor little girl …. Whoever is responsible should share a cell with John Couey, the abductor, etc. (too horrible to elaborate on) of Jessica Lunsford.

That way they can be finished off even faster.

    18. richard on July 25th, 2008 6:22 am

Remember that in the case of Brooke Bennett of Vermont, the uncle also left misleading posts on her MySpace (or whatever it was) site and left other misleading evidence on the Internet.

Could it be that the wave of TV crime shows is having this kind of result … the scum think they can outsmart police?

[...] The case of missing 2 year old Caylee Anthony has gone from the strange to the bizarre. Why did Caylee Marie’s grandmother change the story? How did the story change from the 911 call where she stated, it smells like there’s been a dead body in the damn car to  it was just pizza in the trunk. [...]

    20. da_wench on July 25th, 2008 10:30 am

OMG Have you heard the 911 tapes? The grandmother herself said it smelled like a dead body in the car. Poor little Caylee. She never had a chance being born into this family.

    21. Bearlyhere on July 25th, 2008 10:41 am

      **********

What she should have said–Put a little piece of pizza along with the pizza delivery man in your car today and leave it shut and come back in 19 days and see what it smells like.

I reread Caylee’s thread last night. Taking it all in at one time really blows you apart. That poor baby.

Anyone else out there thinking about killing their children please call an adoption agency first. There are plenty of people on waiting lists all over this country waiting for children to complete their homes. Please, please stop this madness. Save our children.

      God bless you, Caylee.

People wonder what attracts people to one case vs. another case. When I chose names for my child while I was pregnant, if the child was a girl, her name would have been Kaylee. He was a boy and the rest is history. I remember writing the name over and over while I was pregnant, spelled in many differnt ways–it combines both my Grandmothers’ names.

I would have been glad to take Caylee and have her as my own, Casey, along with thousands of others. God bless Caylee, wherever you are. Please let her be in a better place than the bizarro world she lived in. I hope she is with a wonderful family who appreciates the gift that she is.

    22. sad on July 25th, 2008 1:42 pm

I read on some site that she worked at a night club. Not that that means drugs were involved, but it’s not helping her. I don’t want to offend anyone, but that’s what is out there. She “claimed” she worked as an event coordinator, but in actuallity was employed at a night club. Liarrrrr!

    23. kris on July 25th, 2008 3:32 pm

Something is up…I think the mom and granny are in a custody battle. I think granny is trying to get custody of Caylee and I think that maybe the mom is hiding the child. When you listen to her voice, she sounds angry. The grandmother is backtracking and lying…something is very fishy and it’s between the mom and grandma.

    24. misskatie on July 25th, 2008 9:33 pm

    25. Bearlyhere on July 26th, 2008 10:34 pm

      Thanks, Misskatie. I meant it.

There are alternatives to murdering these little ones. There are plenty of people who have room in their hearts for these children.

I remember when I was pregnant, the waiting list was 8 years. I don’t know what it is now.

    26. Donna on July 27th, 2008 1:19 pm

Am I the only one who heard the grandfather tell the grandmother “…the information needs to stop, the information needs to stop” during a raw
footage interview immediately after the bond hearing?????? Cindy was offering “receipts for where she has been shopping for the past two weeks” when the grandfather urgently begins to pressure her to stop talking! This extremly troubling to me!!!!!!

    27. Donna on July 27th, 2008 1:28 pm

Another thought is that the receipts may have been from a hardware store like a Lowe’s or Home Depot and store surveillance may show Casey purchasing materials to dispose of poor Caylee!
Remember the grandfather was previously on the Sherriff’s Department…

    28. Lisa on July 27th, 2008 2:01 pm

Did anyone see grandma testify? Really weird. She sat there twisting her hair. They are all lying. The sad part is I am not sure it is a drug thing or a mental illness. What about that babysitter – perhaps mom is speaking of herself. Perhaps both. I also see a very selfcentered person in mom. The baby always got her a lot of attention. But then the baby started taking the attention. Missing baby puts the attention back on mom. Too bad I think the child was left too long in a hot car and died. Look carefully at the Grandma’s testimony(sp) and as she gets more intense she starts twisting her hair and I thing that is when Casey the mom starts to cry. Just thoughts. But they need serious physcology involved to get answers. Notice they have released the mom’s physc. evaluation.

    29. Donna on July 27th, 2008 4:40 pm

This question is for Cindy Anthony:
If you feel law enforcement is not handling this case the way that you believe they should, have you contacted Texas EquuSearch, The Polly Klaas Foundation, and/or The Jessica Lundsford Foundation?
It is apparent that Casey knows precisely where Caylee is and her fate will be sealed when that location is found!!!! I for one, can’t wait until the truth finally prevails.
      Rest in peace little Angel.

    30. Leslie on July 29th, 2008 12:13 am

I have been looking up the information on this case for 2 hours now and it is plain to me in that small amount of time That the Mom is quilty. I am reserving hope that maybe the grand mother is changing her story to stay in her daughters good graces hoping that she will tell the truth. At least thats my hopes. You can tell by watching the Grandmother that she truly does not believe her daughter and even said she was not sure of her daughters involvement if you listen to the phone call made from jail the mother is very ill with the grandmother for saying it.She is also having a fit for the boyfriends number and seems to be more worried about him then her daughter so how come he has not been questioned. and where is Caylee’s father at there has been no mention of him either . There are way to many holes in this case. I hope this little girl is okay. But i fear it is gonna turn out like the Susan Smith case.

    31. Dee on July 29th, 2008 12:50 am

I think the whole entire Anthony family knows where Caylee is. They are playing the media and the public and it makes me sick!!! I wonder if the boyfriend made a comment he didn’t want any kids in the picture…imagine…they been together 2 months…..2 months…now Caylee has been missing for about 1 1/2 mos. Oh and Casey’s atty, Mr. Baez, what a piece of work he is. How did he pass the exam??? Joe Pesci did better than that when he screwed up in My Cousin Vinny. And, did they have a frigging pizza in their back yard for 12 days?? PUHHHHLEEEEZZZZZZZZ. Caylee, my prayers are with you baby. I luv you!!

    32. Hollie on July 29th, 2008 2:26 am

I wish they would release the credit card info so we could see where casey spent thousands on her mothers credit card- also the results of drug tests. I do think that maybe she was going on shopping sprees and leaving that girl in the car in the heat. Who knows though, the mother and grandmother are both mental- the grandmother should be charged with obstruction as well. I hope to god that this child is found alive and well and her mother and grandmother get thrown in jail. Something has got to break here. The whole family gives me the chills. I know if I pulled something like this my mother would be judge, juror and executioner. Cindy has done a wonderful job being her daughters friend, not a mother who should be sticking her foot up her daughters a**.
I have a heavy heart when thinking of where this poor girl may be. I hope that people learn from this and start to take serious note of when someone behaves erratically. There are usually warning signs but everyone wants to overlook them and be in denial. I don’t believe in that- when someone isn’t acting right, you get them help and take the necessary steps to make sure they don’t harm themselves or someone else. How many tragedies we hear of that could been prevented?

    33. Denise on July 29th, 2008 2:38 pm

No one seems to be releasing anything. No one is saying anything about the cement poured in the backyard over the 4th. No one has had to take a lie detector yet, although she is a person of interest. No one is coming forward with the “pizza” findings in the trunk. The longer they play games with this case the harder it is going to be to find Caylee no matter where she is at.. They seem to be moving so “slow” on this case its rediculous! You know as well as I do Casey did something with her and her family knows she did also.. You can tell by the tone of their voices when they ask her questions over the phone. A lot of doubt sits there!

    34. Sheila on July 29th, 2008 10:38 pm

Isn’t Cindy a nurse? If it was my Granddaughter I’d be getting answers from my Daughter! If Cindy and her Daughter were really “Close” and she really knew her she would have came to her mom (Cindy) if the baby was really kidnapped as she is now saying. This little girl would be better off with someone who Cared for her than these two! Makes me angry ever time I hear one of them speak or see them on TV. Sick O’s

    35. mara on July 30th, 2008 1:13 am

      To the family and friends:

Casey is obviously a phychopath, that has lied for years and has gotten better and learned how to manipulate people and events…if the family is coming across as they are, i hope it is becuase they are aware, and they understand that they are the only ones who can probably break her (Guantanamo way). I am sure you have gotten the attention of mass mental health professionals .

Perhapes you have also been put under the microscope, that’s how it works, it only helps to the tell the truth and be co-opertative.

This is all about Kalsey but being honest because of SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many lies is the only SOLUTION.

I suggest to take 10 lie dector tests each ( every family member and every friend, and nieghbor) and after a general conclusions people can be eleminated or investigated. If you have nothing to lie about and there is a small window of oppertunity that your grandchild perhaps can be brought home as a result, then WHY NOT!!!!!

I understand legealites, police, media, and love for your own mentally incompentant child are “issues” but this is very clear cut… the more bs your daughter gives you AND EVERYDAY YOU DO NOT SEE KALSEY IS NOT A GOOD SIGN.

DO THE RIGHT THING, YOUR DAUGHTER IS A LOST CAUSE LIKE ALL PAST BEHAVIOR IS SUPPORTIVE TO THIS STATEMENT AND SECONDARY TO THE MAIN ISSUE WHICH IS KALSEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

I can only hope I am wrong but everything points since day one to dysfunction, lies, dysfunction and more dysfunction. Everyone needs to step up to plate and prove true intent, again, again, and again.

Your in my prayers but wake-up and be open to facts. Consider perhaps that your daughter presented fictitious names and events based on general random knowlege and/or probability. Don’t become a co-conspearator or enabler of the only person who TRULY knows what happened and is chosing not to tell the TRUTH.

    36. annie mims on July 31st, 2008 11:24 am

I am on day 8 of a pizza in the back of my car. In the southern tip of South Carolina, the heat index during this same time period has been over 100 every day. Smells like rotting old pizza so far and it is drying out.
No one has accused me of having a dead body in there yet, no one has even noticed it yet. It is more like leaving a bag of fast food leftovers in there for a week.
No go grandma Anthony, it’s the old OJ trick, deny, deny, deny. I pray to God cops can get to the bottom of this. If my grown kids, parents of grandkids, pulled this for even 3 days never mind 31 I would be the one to put them in jail. Does this grandma understand that if her own daughter would do this to her daughter and steal this much from her mom, those she supposedly loves, what in the world would Casey do to someone she doesn’t care for? I believe grandma knows what happened and is thinking she can’t bring Caylee back and is convinced by the biggest liar I have seen that it was an accident and doesn’t want to lose Casey too. Someone help her see Casey was lost long time ago, she is a wack case and soon to be certified at that.

    37. ss on August 2nd, 2008 5:05 pm

I believe the mom and grandmother know something. Neither one has shown any emotions. (such as crying, or please give me my child back etc.) I have a 4 yr. old, and he was at his aunt’s house (2 doors down) I called to check on him, she said he came home about an hour ago. I knew he hadn’t came in the house, so I went to see if he was out in the yard. When I did not see him, I called 911. It turn out he was still in her house, in the back room, watching t.v. I had to call 911 back to tell them I found my son. It is a scary feeling when u cannot find your child, and for the 10 minutes (seemed like a lifetime) I could not find my son, I was going crazy.

As for Cindy Anthony (mother/grandmother) , give me a break. How can she stand up for her daughter who is an adult, as to being naive that her daughter doesn’t know the whereabouts of her 2 yr old daughter Caylee. Any true caring mother knows where their child/children are at all times vs mothers that don’t care about their child/children but just about themselves. For Cindy to act as she is the deprived grandmother yet give so many excuses for her daughters behavior is so pathetic. I’d say that I would neither want her as a mother or grandmother, and no wonder her daughter lies so much, I believe the apple doesn’t fall from the tree. On a personal note the only importance is the welfare and concern for the missing 2 yr old Caylee. I also feel that both the mother and her parents have knowledge as to what happened to Caylee. Being a parent/grandparent I know if any of my gandchildren were missing I would not have to talk any one of my kids into calling the police as they would do it immediately and regardless I would contact the authorities myself. There are so many descrepancies in this case it’s sickening, not to reiterate that it’s at a cost of a 2 yr olds life at stake. JUSTICE (I say that with hope and prayer)will prevail here and Caylee is found, alive or dead and the person(s) involved are treated accordinly just as the 2 yr old has/had been treated.

I have been watching Nancy Grace every night and I to believe that the Mom had something to do with it, but I would not count the boyfriend out either. After Kaylee went missing her mom was out partying at a club and looked to be carefree. I have smelled what a dead body smells like and rotting food in the Texas heat and believe me the smells are totally different. Also, both Grandpa and Grandma seem a little strange to me. Grandpa went off on everyone today and it was all caught on tape and Grandma can’t shut up. I pray for Kaylee but think it might be too late. What a terrible shame.

I would hope that the media would leave your family alone and through the kindness of their hearts(what if it was one of them going through this?} help to lower your stress levels. YOU know your daughter better than anyone and have the God given right to believe in her and to try to help her remember that one small detail that will help locate little Caylee. I have 5 grandchildren and I would be doing just what you are. Stay STRONG, ask for God’s help,it will come.

    43. BarbWire on August 8th, 2008 11:58 pm

I can not imagine for 1 minute why anyone would wait a month to report a baby missing. The grandmother Cindy reminds me of Scott Petersons mom, the way she is defending that spoiled rotten brat of a daughter. I understand defending your child, but I would think that as a grandparent she would be more concerned with her innocent little grandchild, and finding her then defending her daughter. After all if she is “innocent” then she has nothing to hide except all her stinking lies.

I want to know doe Caylee have an attorney, many time in a divorce the children are appointed an attorney to protect their rights, and clearly someone needs to make sure that Caylee is protected and if she is dead did not die in vain.

    44. Okie on August 9th, 2008 9:00 am

The sad fact is that Caylee is deceased.

The mother should be in the general public as well as the grandmother. How can she lie when she is recorded saying two different things? She said in court and I would assume under oath that the smell was pizza, then on a 911 recording that is smelled like a body had been in the damn trunk, if nothing else she should be jailed for perjury.

The only praise I would like to give is to the judge that isn’t letting the murder out…..I have been so let down by our judicial system 95% of the time but everyone should praise this judge for keeping this witch in jail!

    45. Randall on August 9th, 2008 12:24 pm

And where is the missing pizza, Cindy? You need to hold another press conference ASAP to discuss that with your media.

    46. Claire on August 9th, 2008 7:41 pm

Does ANYONE know what the Anthony’s don’t have any family or friends? I haven’t seen any aunts or uncles, cousins or in-laws. No co-workers, no church family, no neighbors.

It’s like an old Twilight Zone episode where the 4 of them and Caylee are the ONLY people.

    47. Mary on August 10th, 2008 6:07 pm

Cindy Anthony-you are a poor excuse for a Mother!
Casey, I hope they sit you in a cell next to Scott Peterson to die!
Casey, if you did not want your beautiful daughter, you should have given her up for adoption, there are so many LOVING families out there that would have given her a beautiful home and life…

    48. Mary D on August 11th, 2008 2:42 am

Well folks, Caylee’s birthday is over and Casey said she would be there, another lie. I don’t know
what Casey could have told her mother to make her
do this about face. Caylee has been missing since
the pictures where taken on fathers day. But Tony
the boyfriend said that Caylee was at his apartment and Casey, left with her and came back
later all dressed to go clubing. After that no one
saw her.Casey’s parents where away on holidays then. I think this is a homicide, Casey probably
had her in the trunk an then the backyard or vice
versa. I hate to say it but if she put her in a dumpster she is gone forever. This is a tragic end for a beautiful little girl. The mother should
      be SHOT and PI__ED on.

    49. Erika on August 11th, 2008 9:56 am

I think there is allot to this case that isn’t being released yet and I also think that the media has really twisted allot of things around. I was a young mother and I went out and did things that I would never dreamed of now. That doesn’t mean I would ever hurt my children. I have left my children with baby sitters that thought they could do better for my kids than I could maybe this person went to far and ran off with the little girl.

As for the 911 call think about it people when you are in a panic you say things you wouldn’t say if you thought about it.. Don’t be so quick to judge. I always try to look at things for everyones point of view.

Instead of trying to figure out who might have hurt this little girl the world should be looking for her. Caylee is out there somewhere….

    50. Dee on August 11th, 2008 11:21 am

I jsut clkeaned out my daughters car this weekend (she’s messy) and found some old pizza that was there for a few weeks. It had no odor was just dried up. Go figure grandma???

      ERIKA

I AGREE THAT WE SHOULDNT BE TO QUICK TO JUDGE. BUT WHEN A CHILD GOES MISSING THE WORLD WANTS TO HELP FIND THEM. BUT WHEN U TELL LIES AND SEND DETECTIVES AND PEOPLE TRYING TO HELP IN CIRCLES IT MAKES IT HARD TO NOT POINT THE FINGER. LOOK AT THE LITTLE GIRL THAT WAS KIDNAPPED BY HER FATHER “CLARK ROCKAFELLER” THE MOTHER CAME FORWARD ASKING FOR HELP WAS HELPFUL IN THE INVESTIGATION AND NOW HAS HER DAUGHTER BACK SAFE. MIND U THIS TOOK PLACE AFTER CAYLEE AND THE ROCKAFELLAR GIRL IS HOME NOW AND CAYLEE IS NOT. THE FBI AND JUSTICE SYSTEM KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THEY ARE DOING THATS WHY THERE IS A 500K BOND FOR CASEY. BECAUSE THEY KNOW THEY WILL NEVER EVER FIND THE BODY OF CAYLEE AND THEY ARE GOING TO NEED ALL THE DNA AND PROOF THEY CAN TO CONVICT CASEY.

I HAVE A 7 YEAR OLD AND I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT PIZZA IN A BOX OR WITHOUT SMELLS LIKE IN MY CAR AFTER 19 DAYS. LIKE NOTHING. IT WAS DRIED UP LIKE IT HAD BEEN SMOKED OR DRIED OUT. SIMILAR TO BEEF JERKEY. HARD AS A ROCK. I’M GUESSING BECAUSE OF THE HEAT HERE IN CALIFORNIA. I HAVE HEARD ITS EVEN HOTTER IN FLORIDA. SO IM SURE PIZZA WOULD BE DRIED OUT IN ALOT LESS THEN 19 DAYS. I HAVE HAD ALL KINDS OF FOOD IN MY CAR :0) GROSS I KNOW BUT CHICKEN NUGGETS DO FALL. I THINK CAYLEE WAS EITHER KILLED OR DIED BY ACCIDENT. MAYBE HER MOM SNAPPED AND WENT CRAZY FORGETTING HOW EASY IT IS TO SERIOUSLY AND FATALY HARM A YOUNG CHILD OR POSSIBLY LEFT HER IN A CAR WHILE SHE DID SOMETHING AND SHE DIED. FLORIDA IS A REALLY HOT AND HUMID STATE AND EVEN AT NIGHT BEING IN THE 90S OUTSIDE AND HUMID A CHILD CAN DIE JUST AS EASILY AS THE DAY. I WANT TO KNOW WHAT SHE DID WITH THE GAS CANS SHE STOLE FROM HER DADS GARAGE? I THINK SHE BURNED HER DAUGHTER AND UNLESS SHE TELLS THE TRUTH WHICH WHO KNOWS WHAT TO BELIEVE FROM THIS CHICK WE WILL NEVER FIND HER BODY. THATS MY OPINION. PRETTY PATHETIC OF A MOTHER. AND EVERYONES QUESTIONING WHY SHE IS NOT MOURNING HER DAUGHTER OR CRYING. PEOPLE WAKEUP! SHE ALREADY DID! SHE HAD A MONTH TO MOURN. REMEMBER THIS CHILD WAS MISSING FOR A MONTH OR MORE WHEN THEY REPORTED HER GONE :0( SAD DEAL

    53. kathe on August 15th, 2008 4:27 pm

ireally don’t think the grandmother had any thing to do with it. i think the mother has always pulled and used her mother and father with the baby. what ever she did she did it to hurt her mother and father, ithink she thought little caylee took her place in her mothers eyes. if my daughtwas missing witch i talk to everyday. it would not take me 6weeks to get to her. they know ther dauhgter is not right . they are the one that called the news and now they are not saying what thet want to here. they should all tell the truth. when you do people will help you . but why should they now? my thougts are with them . just tell the truth cassie11111111111111111.

    54. christine on August 20th, 2008 5:06 pm

It first sounded like Casey was the center of the family and along came Caylee and stole the spotlight and the party whore couldn’t stand that

now it feels like everyone is saying the same stuff like grandma knows more than she is saying and we
beautiful Caylee you didn’t stand a chance in that place was grandpa a crooked former cop or does he only cover up for his little princess

Casey is all about parting feeling up men and
Women you sick bitch you will answer to a higher court and you won’t mommy or daddy
I wonder when Casey closes her eyes at night does she see her precious angel I doubt it very much I don’t think she is capable of loving a child.

we all say the same stuff God Bless you Caylee and you are in a better place away from casey but i wish she would have put her up for adoption my aunt went through alot of paper work to adopt a child funny such a wonderful lady full of love had to fill out an application and have a back ground check little miss Casey if that was you you would never pass and Caylee would be with a loving family and would have a shot at life a chance to know what being loved felt like

    55. belle on August 20th, 2008 5:16 pm

Grandma please it’s about finding Caylee for people didn’t even know her that is what it is about justice for you it’s all about Casey I think in my opion you know it is too late for Caylee so now you want to protect your daughter that family is sick and twisted
cindy calling in on Nancy Grace listen don’t try to defend your family when it comes to Nancy because believe me for Nancy it is about finding Caylee and Nancy would mop the floor with you Cindy she is for the innocent not for people who are clearly lying and trying to cover up something up Nancy if you read this I love your show and thank you friend

    56. PATRICIA JOHNSON on August 21st, 2008 8:49 am

WHERE IS THE FATHER I MEAN CAYLEE’S Father during all of this it may have had mentioned nad i missed but i have not heard a word about father and or his parents she they not be involved in all of this i amm a grandmother of 8 and i am not going to miss talking or seeing them more than 2 or 3 days CINDY IS A LIAR AND IT IS IN ALL EXPRESSIONS

    57. jerseygirl on August 22nd, 2008 8:33 am

I personally do not believe Casey one bit but for argument sake, lets say that in fact she did take Caylee to this babysitter and this babysitter ran away with Caylee. The police said they found this “babysitter” and spoke with her and supposely the babysitter said that she never met Casey or Caylee in her life. How do we know she’s telling the truth? I hope the police made a full investigation into this “babysitter” i.e. looking through her apartment, phone records, etc., because if she in fact is the babysitter and did take Caylee and did do something to her, and the police comes questioning her, it can be possible for her to lie and say I never met them in my life.

There’s just so much more to this story and now the mother is out of jail on bail. She better start to retrace her steps when last with Caylee because if the police doesn’t get some answers soon, oh boy…..many people have been convicted of murder without ever have found a body.

But I won’t jump to conclusions….let’s just everybody keep our eyes open and try and find Caylee.

    58. Lee on August 27th, 2008 6:09 am

OMG; This family is disturbed! I don’t know how they can all cohabit in the same small house during the farce. If people who know what a cadaver smells like, and trained cadaver dogs hit on the car, and the nurse grandma Cindy said “… smells like theres been a dead body in the damned car!”, along with two other corroborating sniff witnesses who knew that odor; I think I can say someone dead was in that car. Nobody wants that to be a 2 y.o. child. The evidence is overwhelming in my opinion that this woman has done something with her child and is GUILTY as sin of whatever that is. She is a proven liar. Hey, if she is speaking, she is lying. Authorities will press ‘real’ charges that will stick when the time comes. Cindy and George might want to try a beat-down for information before Casey goes back to jail… ’cause I have a feeling after that Caylee may never again be seen dead or alive.

    59. Amy on August 28th, 2008 6:03 am

I am so sad for little Caylee, her mother killed that little girl and she should pay for it! Why? So she could party more. As for the grandmother, she knows her daughter did it and could have given more clues. What a horrible thing to do to a sweet inoccent little girl who did not have a choice in the piece of dirt of a mother she had. God bless your soul little angel. I would have loved to adopt you and take care of you!

    60. Judy on August 29th, 2008 9:59 pm

I don’t get it, why isn’t the grandparents more upset with Casey, I don’t get it, if that we’re my daughter, and she was not telling me where my granddaughter was, I would wrap my hands around her neck and she’d talk, because I’d choke it out of her, and I love my daughter, but no way would I put up with the way that girl is acting, I could not sleep at night, thinking my granddaughter was out somewhere, I would be screaming and kicking her butt as soon as they walked her in the door, it just makes them look as heartless as the daughter, let the women in jail get ahold of her, have a good day, and god be with that little girl,

    61. Shirley Williams on September 2nd, 2008 7:50 pm

Would like to hear when and why Casey broke into the shed in parent’s yard and stole the cans of gas. Why did she need the gas? This is one aspect of the case that has not been adequately addressed on any of the TV shows. Sadly I don’t believe they will find a body; that the child is ashes now. That is the reason she had that defiant smirk on her face when the police first brought her in. She knows they will never find the body and will continue to stonewall everyone as long as she can. Her mother, Cindy, is as sick as she is. Granted, it is hard to face the fact that you raised this horrible person. She has been lying and covering up for her for a long time. Now her chickens have come home to roost. As far as it being an accident, think again. This was cold bloodied premediated murder. Hope I am wrong about everything, but doubt it.

    62. Leah on September 5th, 2008 9:09 am

Well, I am ashamed to admit, I have found rotting pizza in my van among other foods, as my kids eat in the van and make huge messes. I have never thought my van smell like a rotting body. The worst stinks so far is milk and lemonade (belive it or not) which I had to have professionally cleaned to get rid of the smell, but still, not rotting dead body.

    63. jamie on September 8th, 2008 5:22 am

It’s September now, I think the family knows everything and is doing anything they can to protect their daughter and lead officials the wrong way. They are all scared. It’s obvious what is happening here….If people continue digging into this and just don’t stop and accept it then I think this case will be brought to justice..

    64. luci on September 9th, 2008 11:45 pm

This story has captivated my heart as well as making me damn mad! I understand that the law has to go by the rules but this is ridiculous!!! I am a grandmother myself and if any of my 3 children ever ever were involved in such a horrible crime I would be in jail for beating the truth out of them…This spoiled, disfunctional brat, Casey needs to be dealt with…made to talk…I think the grandmother is totally warped…I thought so the first few days of this story… I feel sorry for the grandfather, though. He seems like a nice enough guy but between the lines you can see that the grandmother calls all the shots….making the whole family disfunctual and bizarre. Maybe she is the reason Casey is soooo weird. In any event, I just had to vent because this case is taking over my life…I wait for Nancy Grace to fill me in every nite….I just can”t beleive this drama goes on and on ….If it were me or my family I’m sure we’d be under the jail by now!!!!Anyway, maybe tomorrow will bring some answers….till then I am totally consumed. Thanks for listening….Luci in Albuquerque

I have had opportunity to follow this story from the beginning and am wondering if this Casey was normal as a child or was she always a bit off. And as far as her mother goes I think both of them are a pair of wing nuts. I feel sorry for Grandpa, whom Casey will probably eventually accuse of molesting her or something Casey like.
