The case of missing teen Natalee Holloway has brought out some of the most evil, vile and opportunists that any missing persons case has ever seen. The smear campaigns against both the victim, Natalee Holloway, and her family have been beyond anything ever seen.
One would have to ask the obvious question, why? Why in this case, above all others, has there been such a concerted effort by an island, a government and some of its complicit media to smear a family? We keep coming back to this comment and the fact that cronyism and tourism is above all in Aruba.
It was Tourism-minister Edison Briesen that introduced them to Croes, because he thought that the information was important enough to be included in the judicial investigation. Croes is of the opinion that now that the case against the suspects Joran and the brothers Deepak and Satish Kalpoe has brought no results, the Public Prosecution must also consider other scenarios.
Was it worse for Aruba to admit the truth that there was actual dangers on the island to tourists, rather than committing to a smear campaign against the victim and her family?
The idea that the many in the Aruban media would rather give a forum to tin foil hat and moon bat insanity rather than what is the obvious evidence against those that are responsible for Natalee Holloway’s disappearance speaks volumes to the attitude and culture in Aruba. Those in the media and it would also appear to be some in government positions would rather smear the name and reputation of those that were tourists in Aruba rather than just biting the bullet and laying blame on one of their own. However, in Aruba, cronyism trumps logic.
The international media is told one story that Aruba cares, yet the Aruban media passed the following off as news in the case of missing Alabama teen, Natalee Holloway. They passed the “moon bat” comments and opinions of “mediums” Daniel Young and Kelly Castillo as hard news. The fact that these two have an obvious agenda make their stories beyond questionable. How is it that these two rocket scientists, (mediums), are some how supposed to know more or have a better understanding and capacity than former FBI profilers like Clint Van Zandt. Or the Dutch scholars who have admitted that the Aruban police acted in an unprofessional manner and had botched the case.

One question, which is in the mind of all, is at least answered. How did Natalee get of the Island ? In the private yet of “a friend” of Jug Twitty.
Questions which remain to be answered are : Did Jug Twitty and “his friend” have sex with Natalee in Aruba, before or after they murdered her ? Did Beth Twitty (ex trailer trash) get paid for the “services” of her daugher ? When I heard his voice in the interview dana did a month ago, I knew there was something sencere evil in his voice.
The reason that the Twitty´s were going so fast to Aruba, they lied about the time, was to keep the whole internal sick family situation stacked away.
If any mistakes have been made in the Aruban Crime Investigation than is it a complete absence of any backtracking of Beth and Jug. They OPENLY lie on tv. All evidence directs that Beth and Jug are hard boiled killers. Beth even tries to sell her fairy tail book, to make an extra buck out of it. The whole Operah show, was a 15 minute marketing campaign which reads one line : Buy my book !
I hope Beth and Jug murder – sexual bestaility case will be handled in Alabamma court. In Aruba we do not have the death panilty. Because that is what these child raping killers are waiting for !

He appeared on Dr. Phil’s show to say he and the prosecutor believe these 3 did something terrible to Beth’s daughter. He also made the statement, he expects them to be charged with rape and murder. He led Beth’s family on another wild goose chase along with Arlene Shippers saying cops were waiting for Joran to come home for Christmas, and they were making a list..gonna bring all back in for questioning. When the time came, he said well they can’t be brought in unless they want to come in. Last time he was seen on tv.. He was on Rita Cosby’s show. Rita said is that Paulus on that casino tape by Natalee? Steve said he had been busy on the road and hadn’t look at it yet, but he would and let her know.. Pooof Steve was gone..no more Steve on tv.. AHATA and the ATA appointed Cohen to deal with all media relations concerning the case which still commands media coverage in the United States. Mr. Cohen has been part of the Strategic Communications Task Force since its creation in June. He has a full knowledge of the case and is an associate of the Strategic Message Design Group that has served in an advisory capacity to both ATA and AHATA.
The goal of this action is to coordinate the responses of the private and public sectors to North American media.

If she was supposedly pregnant and in the first trimester how was she not sluggish or throwing up all the time? One would hardly be getting on a plane, spending time in the heat and partying in bars and clubs. Dancing would have been about the last thing that she would have wanted to do.
If it was the second trimester, why was she not showing? Hmmm…
Oh yes, then there is as the two village idiots reported … the Holloway/Twitty dirty little secret that NH was being abused and Beth knew about it. If this was supposedly such a family dirty little secret then why did the family have NH get rid of the baby? Wouln’t that have been the obvious choice if such a heinous act had occurred and people were trying to conceal the fact?

I caught up with Beth Holloway on the phone as she was boarding a flight to Montreal to expand an organization she started, Safe Travels Foundation.
“It is to inform people before going to foreign places how to proceed locally if faced with a crisis,” she said.

If one looks at this situation coldly, having these two clowns on TV to state their visions of what happened to Natalee, is just an indication that the local government needs to place the blame of what’s happening to Aruba’s economic, on the Holloway-Twittys.
Yes, the story of the disappearance and the PR nightmare it has created has affected economic performance. But the truth of the matter is that according to indicators published by the UN, which were reprinted here on SMs, Aruba’s economy began hurting as of the year 2000, when the margin premium they were able to command in hotel accommodation prices during 1995-1999, began to shrink. The tourism authorities failed to foresee that as more rooms became available, the greater the possibility for reduced accommodation rates, the less exclusive the island became, the less control they could exercise over room prices.
The Natalee Holloway case is the result of the already deteriorated Aruban tourism market, which prompted authorities to conceal the crime, as a means to avoid a scandal that took place anyways, on an escalated dimension.
Their fear grew into terror and it translated into inertia, which eventually hurt the island more than an admission of fear that could have translated into positive proactive actions that would have send out the right signals to the tourism market and the local population.
The authorities are once again afraid of the fear of the political disaster that could happen, if things continue the way they are. So they have to blame Beth and her ex. Soon enough, it will blow in their faces too. When these mediums loose the temporary effectiveness they could have on the segment of the Aruban audience that could classify as relatively ignorant, whom are they going to resort to?
Cerril, you have not been able or willing to give the poster thing up, since 2005. Maybe the poster thing should have been investigated further so that you wouldn’t have to hold on to this possibility for so long. But unfortunately, due procedure in a timely fashion was not followed in the investigation of events, so that all possible leads could have been followed opportunely.
So Dutch on Aruba, let go of it… it’s ALE’s fault that the poster is not yet investigated two and a half years later. Talk to Ben Vocking, if he admits interference, maybe the Prosecutors Office could have a chance of reopening the investigation to review relevant aspects of it, including the Hootie poster.
The arguments about who put what and when and where on this poster crop up quite a lot. Did Beth refer to this in her book? In any event I believe what Beth says she did and din’t do. It must have been so nerve wracking and worrying when she first arrived I am surprised she kept as calm as she did. Also even if ‘kidnapping’was put on a poster, it doesn’t seem unreasonable to me …just a bad choice of words when probably they meant to and should have put ‘missing’. If they has put ‘raped and murdered’ I would have raised an eyebrow..and that is imo what really happened.
As stated before, Aruba is STUCK ON STUPID. Nobody is believing these new lies and it makes the whole island look more STUPID than ever.
Economic disaster is going to snowball. I recently made an inquiry to an Aruban Hotel just to check of availability during the supposedly “high period” – vacancies abound everywhere. When I asked them to convince me to come to Aruba – their reply was a 15% discount. I pressed them further, the discount became 25%. Then 35%. I inquired about safety and drugs. No further replies. Imagine that – a hotel faced with an potential group of 100 people not being able to discuss safety and drugs. Makes a person go Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.
I only saw the first part and do not want to waste my time viewing the rest, however I do want to know: Did Beth lie about her time of arrival? Yes or No. If No, is that not enough to start a law suit against these alligations?

I attacked this garbage put out by Kelly Castillo and Daniel Young the same way Red did. First, suppose that everything these “mediums” say is actually true. Yes, it defies imagination but just run with the flow:
Joran, Deepak and Satish have to be the unluckiest people on earth that they would go to pick up an American tourist (admitted in the IM chats) and of all the girls, they choose one that is pregnant by her step-father. They ride off into the sunset with Natalee and from there forward can’t seem to tell the truth about where they went, when they got home and how Joran got home. To top it all off, Joran looses his shoes, which he later lies about the actual size of.
Now why on earth would these so unlucky fellows lie and lie and lie if indeed Joran left Natalee on the beach and she ran away? I live in a small southern town. Just out of curiosity, I looked on line to see if our library has copies of Dave’s book and Beth’s book. The do have at least one of each book in every branch. Right now, 2 have been checked out. Shows that the story is indeed, still very much alive.
I know that there is much speculation as to what happened with this beautiful young girl. I was just wondering what would have happened if, say, the shoe was on the other foot? For instance, let’s say that one of the high school boys had gone off into the night with a young Aruban girl and she was never to be seen again? I bet the authorities would have done every thing in their power to bring someone to justice for that. With all of the evil in the world, I think that Joran might just disappear one day, never to be seen or heard from again. Would that not be ironic? I wonder how many people have wished this upon him?
