Radio Netherlands Worldwide Officially Reporting That The “New Evidence” In The Natalee Holloway Case Consists Of Recently Monitored Phone Conversations Between Kalpoes and Joran Van Der Sloot

From the news article published moments ago:

Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf reports that the new evidence comes from recently monitored telephone calls between the three suspects, the last people known to have seen Natalee Holloway before she went missing two-and-a-half years ago. Her disappearance has received major media coverage in the United States, amid angry accusations that the Aruban authorities have not been doing enough to solve the case.

Didn’t he say at Jensen he would never talk to those two again!?!?
Ok forgot… Just another example of “I lied and that’s the truth!”

    2. Donna on November 23rd, 2007 9:43 am

I hope this is legitimate, the phone calls do prove guilt, can be used as evidence against them (all the perps including Papa perp), and that Natalee and her family will finally have justice and peace.
God Bless Dave, Beth, and Natalee. Prayers always with the family.

This is consistent with Kelly’s comment about the need for jurisdictional coordination. I wonder if any “plants” were made during the “search” of the suspects’ houses last spring.

We have always said that 2 things were 100% sure to happen in this case:

      1. 3 guys do not go to a bar 1/2 hr before closing time w/o the intension of targeting a girl.

      2. The 3 suspects with enough pressure and with the proper investigative techniques would spill the beans and discuss the case.

There is no such thing as a perfect crime, especially with clowns like this.

A perfect crime would have to mean they were provided help and people looked the other way.

so they slipped up and couldnt help themselves, i love it. they were stupid enough to speak on the phone. after taking her back to joran’s apartment, she became scared and fought back. joran broke her neck after she came to…
they then took her to the beach and joran either swam her out past the sandbar, or they got someone’s boat. with the father re-searching the water at depths greater than 330 feet, i have to believe they stuffed her in a barrell and weighed her down. i would be shocked if they every find anything at this point. lets hope the calls are truly incriminating. the pond and landfills were red herrings the entire time. you dont bury someone when you live on a small island.

I thought it was forensic evidence?

    7. Richard on November 23rd, 2007 11:29 am

As EURobert says, all the stuff we heard from Aruba was that the three scum weren’t talking with each other. More spin?

My guess is, word of the upcoming water search was what prompted these calls.

In all honesty, given what we’ve seen on Aruba about such tripe as the ability of suspects to lie, though not witnesses, and similar nonsense … what if the three simply say that the calls were not made on oath?

I’m not trying to sound stupid, but the biggest risk that lies ahead is (in my view) the fact that the same corrupt establishment on Aruba will be in charge of legal proceedings. If that is true ….

On the other hand, my guess is that the Dutch won’t want to see more of it. I don’t know.

A news story out today says that Dave Holloway is going on the ship that’s searching the water, and that it will look in the deeper waters, rather than offshore. I would hope that the compassion of every person on this forum is with him; a more horrible duty for a father can hardly be imagined.

Aruba, be on notice; the eyes of the world are on you. We will not tolerate more of the same.

And by the way, Aruba … in my opinion, you have dug your own grave already. If Natalee’s body is in the water, and is found, then you can lie all you want; you are finished.

    8. LilPuma on November 23rd, 2007 11:33 am

This is very encouraging news. I hope they have more than this to really put these guys away for however long Aruban law allows.

Note: On Nancy Grace’s show the other night, Jossy corrected the reporter on the use of the term “extradition”, which I’m hearing and reading everywhere. Jossy said Joran is going to Aruba because the Judge wants him there. Jossy emphasized that Aruba is part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands so it’s not extradition. Lacking legal expertise, I’m not sure what the difference is, but it seemed important to Jossy that we understand this.

    9. Richard on November 23rd, 2007 12:00 pm

My guess … Aruba knows that we aren’t going away, and that the boycott movement is gaining strength. (Fair enough: Aruba itself is responsible for the boycott. Three years ago, who would have bothered to call for a boycott of Aruba? Who gave a damn about Aruba? At that time, we didn’t know what a slimepit it was.)

Remember also, for all those who see Paulus van der Scum as this immensely important figure: one week before Natalee vanished, he was told that he had failed his exam to be a judge. If he was as important on the island as some believe, he would have been whisked into that job with nary a word against him.

Anyway, it could be that some elements of the Aruban government have decided that this “new evidence” is just what is needed. In my view, it doesn’t seem all that substantial … we’ve seen lies upon lies from the three main suspects, and nothing was done.

Perhaps, just perhaps, what’s different here is that there now is the will to go after them.

I certainly don’t know, and don’t think that anything is guaranteed. But at least the Netherlands seems to be doing something.

God grant that whatever happens leads to justice, and the truth, and above all … some answers for the noble Holloway Twitty family.

Without their perseverance, the two black security guards would have been framed, tried, convicted … and Joran and the Kalpoes would be still going to Carlos ‘n’ Charlies, or by now, perhaps, doing their deeds in Florida, where they wanted to go to college.

Hope you enjoy your homecoming, Joran of the ditch. Get ready for digging ditches the rest of your life, perhaps, along with the others in the chain gang. Maybe, just maybe, that will be the case.

Meanwhile, I wonder how people like Spencer Bachus feel … he was the one who said that Aruba was doing everything it could, right?

    10. Mike on November 23rd, 2007 12:26 pm

      Richard,

I have to think that the prolonging of the deep water search was a plan to hopefully scare someone into making a mistake. I do not know if they could be convicted just by phone calls. There would still have to be some kind of forensic or physical proof. Hopefully this time they will be interrogated individually without their pajamas and pillows. Laws are only good if they are enforced and we have not seen that yet. I think that for some reason the family feels that they have an idea where the body is. I pray that they will find her and achieve a small form of closure. I will wait and see what happens with these new proceedings before I get too excited.

Just read the forum where someone suggested that maybe Joran’s appartment was wired. I now remember that Joran accused PrdVries of breaking in his appartment. Maybe it was the KLPD or something then that looked in his computerfiles and wired the room?

Can the phone calls be used as evidence?
Was it though their cell phones? Should be
very interesting to see what comes of this. I wonder if they were discussing burial at sea, and this is why Dave is headed out all of sudden. Where are the psychis? This whole tragedy has made me realize psychics really aren’t that useful. Hope the family can get some answers finally, though the nightmare will never end.

John Q. Kelly, Beth’s attorney was on Greta’s show last night. He has a good idea what the evidence is, he would not spill the beans. Also, I believe Art Wood (PI hired by Holloway/Twitty family) said he turned over evidence about 2 months ago. I just hope this will stick, the charges can finally be leveled against the three including papa perp Paulis, and whoever else was involved. I would love to see them go to the KIA for a very long time. By-the-way, I used to visit Aruba, since Natalee I have boycotted (over two years now). One of our visits, we took a tour and the guide showed us proudly the “KIA” the new prison which is huge. If crime is not a problem in Aruba, at least not back then, why the need for such a large prison? Hmmmmmmm I always felt safe therem, falsely I presume.

The Question that I have is to Queen Bea:

      Queen Bea:

Less than three weeks ago your investigators said that they were preparing their case and had some very difficult DNA tests to perform.

Were you lying to us, or are you willing to only give us a small peak inside the corruption that took place in this case? I am appreciative of the work that you say was performed on this case, but am very reluctant to trust either you or Aruba when we are talking about the workings of secret societies, corrupt public officials and anything having to do with the disappearance of children.

If Joran is the only Lion that is going to be captured, you and your island will continue to feel the effects of the boycott, as well as lose the respect that so many of us have had for you, as a nation, that stood for freedom over the years.

We have seen Natalee, we know how she died and to hide that from the world will only perpetuate the suffering that has been inflicted upon innocent boys and girls for centuries. To support an Arawak Nation and allow the practice of it’s rituals is a sin, not only against humanity, but against everything we are. We are flesh and blood, and so much more. If no man has proven that, to you, look to Dave Holloway. Every man and woman love their children, whether they be rich or poor, black or white and no one has the right to kill anyones child in the name of THEIR god, nor in the name of their Nation. The Arawaks, that rule in Aruba, must be removed. The people, Dutch and Aruban that made it possible for these three to go free for almost two years, while Natalee remained missing, need to be punished. And any Arawak Minister, who put the money derived from tourism over the life of a child, and her families right to know the truth and take their child home, shall be removed from office and punished, as well.

Obstruction is against the law. Obstruction of Justice is a sin against our right to receive relief by the courts for our pain and suffering. We are not ANGRY, the anger from the lack of justice in this case has died out long ago; we are in pain from the damage that these lovers of money, dealers of women and drugs and these heathens have caused the Holloway Family, as well as the family we all take a part, the Human Family.

There will be Justice in Aruba… full justice.
No more cover ups!!! Enough of us have been tied to those rocks, sacrificed and eaten…

It is time for the truth.

Wow! Talk about getting the Holloway story out!!!

If ever the imbeciles in Aruba ever thought the Natalee “story” was would soon be forgotten or pass un-noticed by the public,……how wrong they were. If ever they thought the public’s support BOYCOTT would soon be forgotten,….. how wrong they were.

Anyone who had their head in the sand, or never heard the story before, is now seeing and hearing it 24/7 on TV, radio, the Internet, in newspapers, and by conversations overheard in the Malls. The media coverage has been spectacular!! The travesty of the ARUBAN governmental cover up and in-action to bring justice has now been splashed all over the world. This story has been picked up in all countries. ABRUBA will be the target of SHAME.

ARUBA will again see the most severe economic backlash possible…….GLOBAL boycott. So it was written….so it shall be done.

      Carl the Detective,

I must respectfully disagree that Natalee was murdered in the home using violence. YES, she was murdered due to a drug overdose thanks to the work of Joran and the K2s.

My feeling is that she never woke up from unconciousness after they used/abused her sexually in her drug-induced state (one she did not choose to enter).

The miserable three (Three Stooges) then panicked and tried to hide Nat’s body on their own. They then went straight to papa Sloot who was more than happy to help create the “perfect” alibi.

We know papa did his own Internet research, and that the boys’ timelines and statements don’t add up. Nothing explains why K2s felt a need to clean out their car at 3am (ants?) to cover up evidence of a LIVE Natalee in their car. EVERYONE say her in there…so my idea (if I go back to my criminal investigation classes in college) tell me there was much more than that to hide….like the fact papa Sloot knew the “scent of death” could easily be picked up from the car using cadaver dogs. I still stand fast on the thinking they moved a death or dying Nat from Joran’s apt. to the K2s car and got her out of the house that way the FIRST time.

I feel they most likly buried her on the beach and then (either the same night/morning or next night) moved the body out to sea.

Appears after 2+ years we may finally get the truth.

For those who insist on thinking Nat was beaten, I think not. I realize “bodily harm” and “violence” were used in the original arrest affidavits (or whatever they’re called in Aruba), but “bodily harm” could easily be from the forced drugs…while “violence” would be the rape of the unconcious victim.

      Brenda

    23. Carol Armstrong on November 27th, 2007 7:39 am

Post #22. I agree with you on most things. However, I think Natalee was taken to Joran’s apartment and that is where she died. Then she was transported to the beach and buried (which is were Joran says he left her). Later, her body was taken out to sea (with the want to be judge’s money)…”No body, no case”. Daddy P knew that the body would be found if left buried on the beach and DNA would tie his son to the crime.

The apartment was not searched…the car was cleaned out…the shoes are missing…and there is “no body”.

Observation: I’ve seen two different pictures of the van der Sloot residence. In one picture you see what appears to be a large dog house behind Joran’s apartment. In another picture, the house is gone. Not sure what dates the two different photos were taken but the dog house is missing in one of the photos. The dog house (or whatever it actually was)was large enough for a body to fit in to.

Hopefully, all those responsible for her death will held accountable. If not in Aruba, in the eyes of God.

    24. Brenda on November 27th, 2007 10:11 am

      Hi Carl,

Actually, the scenario you put out is exactly what I believe. Apparently, my post did not make that clear, but either way, I agree with you. Natalee died in Urin’s apt. To date though I am not 100% on whether daddy knew immediately, or after they buried her on the beach and THEN went to him. Not that it matters, he is guilty of obstruction of justice, abuse of a corps, making false statements, etc.

I have serious doubts Paulus also raped Natalee, but we know the 3 stooges did….and it also appears they aren’t going to get away with it after all. (Thank God)
